when i reserved the trailer i selected a location near where i needed to pick up stuff. the original reservation was for pick up was for 3:30 on the 13th and to be returned at 7:00 on the 17th in Columbus Ohio.The day of pick up i was notified that i would have to go to another location to get the trailer which ended up being an hour and a half out of my way.I think the trailer could have brought to the location that i reserved it from. When i picked up the trailer the return time had been changed, even tho i asked that it remain the same and was told it had, to 3;00 on the 17th. I received a call on the 17th around 3:30 informing me i was late returning the trailer I told the caller that the trailer would be returned that evening and that 3:00 was not the time I had originally selected. I dropped the trailer off around 5:00 on the 17th nothing was said about it being late or there being an additional charge but after i left i was charged for another day. this should have been covered when i dropped it off not just charged more.JON D.

I also got charged for coverage and the employed was embarrassed when I told her why she did that. She promised that will remove next day and will call me back. My reservation was cancelled without any notice. When people move, they need to get out of their location at an specific day, it is not good customer service to cancel a reservation without letting the customer know. By cancelling my reservation I had to incur in other expenses that I wouldn't have had to make if your company hadn't cancelled.Gabriel T.

Long story short..after having to make three trips to this uhaul location to get my tow dolly put on the uhaul truck for liability reasons. I drove the whole way home and the guy didnt even tighten the hitch to the ball. So now when I go to put my car on the tow dolly, the thing flies up off the ball hitch and hits me all up my leg. They are lucky I wasnt straddling it or it came off on the highway. Get better help with peoples lives at steak. Thanks though.Diana G.

The truck was in pretty shabby condition on the outside, lots of damage. Reservation process was easy, but trying to get ahold of a live person. Waited over 1 hour on hold and no one bothered to answer the phone. Retuning the truck was very simple, no problem. You need to improve your emergency phone system.DALE Y.

If we reserved furniture dollies, they should be available for us when we arrive. This location did not have the equipment we requested well in advance. As a result, we were not able to complete our move as expected. In addition, the 24 hour return technology did not work when we went to return the truck after hours. The tow dolly worked beautifully in pulling our vehicle and the U-Haul representative had a very helpful attitude and getting our vehicle off the tow dolly. We had to change our drop off location and found it necessary to contact the national U-Haul representatives. I would like to come in about the customer service that I received when calling. While the U-Haul representatives we're very helpful when I talked with them, the wait times on hold were very long and frustrating. They told us everything was booked except for the cargo vans, and then I went online and was able to reserve a 20' truck at 4:30 on Monday. I had, in total, 3 reservations made in one day. My first reservation, I was told that there was no longer a truck for me. They sent me to a new location after they â€˜confirmed' the truck. With this second reservation, I arrived and was once again told there was not truck and they don't know why I would have been sent there. I was told there was nothing else available. Then they discovered that they could get me a truck another two hours later. They made it seem like they were doing me a favor by finally finding me the truck I was confirmed to have over a week in advance. I was not given any sort of discount even though I was sent to a location 40 minutes away, adding to my overall cost, and having 3 failed reservations. I will not be using Uhaul again.Haley S.

The check in process had an error as their system reported 1/2 tank of gas but when we got in the truck it was below 1/4 tank. We had to go back inside and correct the mistake so we weren't charged more gas than we used. The return process was very smooth though.STEPHANIE S.

the location and the assistance was amazing and the person on the site is great, my only complain is with UHAUL in general as i reserved an 20" truck and the day i went to pick it up for my move they said on file there was only a 15" and that was the best I was able to get. This affected my entire move and made me lost a lot of my furniture and destroyed my moving plans, you are so insensitive by doing this to people even when i planned everything since more than a month in advance.PAULO AUGUSTO A.

Both service consultants jumped on my cause when it was discovered someone had sold the bike hitch that was part of my promised invoice/service after hitch installation.
