The turn around location is very complicated. My online precheck in was almost useless because of the long lines. Also better disclosure of the 1 hour rule would be helpful. We had an issue come up and weren't able to pick up right at our time. Being told they were about to give away my held trailer wasn't what I wanted to hear after having to wait in line for a half hour.

We truly were extremely disappointed with what happened with our experience this time around. We had booked and paid for our 10' truck two days priors to pick up and when we arrived at the original location (UHaul of Lynnwood), we were told someone from the call center in Arizona had called to cancel our reservation so we were left with no truck for our move. The gentleman at the UHaul of Lynnwood location was able to find a moving van but we would have to make the 6 mi. drive to UHaul of Everett to pick it up, which was not only an inconvenience of time, but also extra mileage with multiple trips back and forth when we could have completed the move in one trip and back up to Everett to return the van. This has never happened before so we understand we may have just been unlucky, HOWEVER, nothing was done to make up for the great inconvenience that was caused. We were told we'd be given a $50 credit but not only did it not make up for what happened, but the credit was never received. Let them go though Garrett Vanderplaats, it is sad that the highest at the store is just manager because Garrett is far more deserving of a status that exceeds a merw manager title!!! I seriously hope that somebody at a national level reviews this message and acknowledges the Superior Service received Mr. Garrett not only personally but also to disgruntled customersabs is is coming from someone that suffers (and is medicated by psychiatriast) from severe PTSD! Thank you Garrett!!

The women who answered my phone is professional. There were 2 guys at time of my pick up and return one is Skylar and big guy, Skylar helped me out where as the big one was lazy and didn't want to answer me properly when I asked him if there is anyone in the office on returning the car. After I got home I found out that Skylar over charged me by adding $14 insurance which I told him in advance that I do not want insurance since the distance was only 6 miles.

If using online check-in, have someone on the lot that can hook you up and go. Still had to wait in line in the store even though filled out all forms online.

Upon return I waited outside as the sign in the return area instructed. After 5 minutes another person pulled in behind me and went inside. They got helped before I did. Disappointing. Other than that - everything was great.

If are selling insurance to your customers you should explain the insurance coverage. They have a booklet behind the counter and didn't even give me one. I am been using uhaul for 17 or 18 years with no issues until now. I accidentally broke a taillight and had paid for insurance. But I was still charged 142 dollars for the light to be repaired. So if this is the manner in which you chose to run your company then I can take my business elsewhere. I am in customer service and upper management myself and this is totally unacceptable. Why sell a product that doesn't benefit your customers but instead benefits you as a company!! I don't think that I have personally witnessed anything like this ever in my life before absolutely ridiculous. Lorenzo Lang 425 770 9852

They forgot to put the dolly I rented in the truck and I had to drive back to get it. I asked for a small credit to offset my time and expense and was told "we don't do that". I will go back to Penske for future rental needs. The store is terribly under staffed.

They charged me for fuel when I filled it but they estimated it when it was parked on a slanted hill, and I believe I should not have been charged $30 for fuel. The truck had glass in it so I had to sweep it out and swept it again when I was done. This was not a fair place and they do not take care of their equipment.

Both locations ,Marysville and everett and uhauls website all need a huge improvement. Truck wasn't where I scheduled it, it was 15 miles further away which cost me more in time and money. The truck cab was dirty inside and out with the gas light on. And the uhual location was so unsafe they expressly said not to leave a vehicle there. Basically I paid more to use the truck for less time , further away and to sit in a dirty truck cab my whole move. I'll never use uhaul again.

They did not inform us to drop the truck around back. The manager argued that they always do. There are signs, but the parking lot is hard to get into and navigate around trucks and people so we didn't see them. They also charged the card we held it with even though we told them we were paying cash at pick up. Again the manager made nasty comments that it was our fault that he didn't know because we went into the building to pay and they ran the card outside at the pickup. Poor communication. Until this I would have rated them much higher. He was very full of himself.

I had ordered a 7 wire plug and hitch through the call center. When i got to the place they had only the 4 and said that's what was ordered. The installer went above and beyond to help make it right so it could still work on my trailer. Great customer service in the store just wish the call center could have gotten it right the first time to make easier on the guys in the store.

When picking up the trailer I was told I could lower the tailgate to the ground by undoing the chains. Later I discovered the quick links were spot welded in place. Not good. I also had wiring installed to tow. Very poor job. I ended up redoing it when I got home.

called to reserve a trailer and scheduled a pickup time. Still had to wait 45 min in line to be helped. If you schedule pickup, you should honor that schedule. Imagine if a restaurant let everyone who showed up be seated before you when you had a reservation. They would lose a lot of business.

I have made more moves than I care to remember but this one was excellent. I can see U-Haul has taken some major steps to improve its processes. The ability for the customer to check in via the internet 24/7 is a great enhancement. On a personal note the employee who checked me in was exceptional very professional and courteous.

We made a reservation for a 15' truck. When we showed up they had no truck for us. The guy who appeared to be in charge spoke rudely to his employees in front of customers. We ended up with a truck twice the size than the one we reserved the barely fit our driveway. Bad experience. I will drive further away from home next time so I don't have to deal with this locations rudeness and incompetence.

On the job training on the computer is stupid. I did express check in and he redid all my stuff. I was there 45 minutes, just to pick up a trailer. Drop off was 40 minutes waiting. The Lynnwood store is where I got my trailer last week in and out in 10 minutes for pick up. Drop off was fast as I pulled up, guy that checked out trailer met me within 1 minute of arrival, processed check in, disconnected trailer, gave me receipt, and out of there in 5 minutes. I won't go back to Everett U-Haul ----- ever again. My time is valuable. I will go to Lynnwood U-Haul on hwy 99 from now on.....

Be honest with the customer is a good first step. Don't lie about when you're charging their card. Totally pissed! Also, give them the correct amount. Be up front about all the charges. The truck i was driving had about 50,000 miles and was in horrib/

The truck I rented was given away before I got there. I was promised a discount. Not only did they not give me the discount but every time I called to fix it no one would help me and kept giving me the run around. I will never use your company again and will advise others to do the same.

Both of my rental experience in the last month were horrible and I am glad i bought a home and wont be moving again. My first issue and working with the manager was excellent getting it solved. The second time the manager was rude and just kept saying you signed a contract. I will never use U-Haul again all though you guys are affordable i would much rather spend more money than deal with the stress I did with both of my trasnactions. Never will I ever refer your company. I would not want what happened to me happen to one of my family, friends or colleague.

When the reservation price is less than the charged price, make it right for the customer. I recently moved locally and called my nearby uhaul location to reserve a truck. The sales person was very helpful and quoted me a weekend and weekday rate for the truck I wanted to rent. The weekday rate was leads than half the price, so that is what I chose. I was working late that afternoon, so a friend of mine picked up the truck. I turned the truck in that night after completing my move. The next day my card was charged the rate that I was quoted. Two days later I received an email informing me I owed more money. I called customer service and learned I was being adjusted to the weekday rate. I disputed the charges. A week later I had heard nothing from customer service, nor the store manager where I had rented and returned the truck. I saw a charge on my account for the disputed amount. Boo. I am taking further action.

For trailer hitch. Extremely disorganized but staff were relatively pleasant. I reserved over the phone saying I'd arrive at 3:30pm and could leave vehicle overnight if easier. When arrived, they said I missed my appointment at 2:30pm and had to come back another day. After I explained was leaving overnight they said "oh that's not shown on computer". They said it would be ready by 2pm the next day. At 2:30 the next day, I called and asked if it was ready. They said "my installation appointment was from 2-4pm since the hitch guy only comes in the afternoon. I showed up at 435pm and the person at the front desk 1st said it hadn't been done since he does them and he hadn't done it today. Then he panicked because he couldn't find the key. Luckily the guy next to him overheard and grabbed the key from under the desk (not on the key wall) and said it was done yesterday.

Shandra did a really good job of getting us checked out initially even though she was having technical difficulties with a printer, she worked very efficiently - impressed! The passengers side mirror was broken on the truck so it was difficult to keep adjusted for vision but the rest of the truck was just fine. It was super backed up at return time so I was a little concerned but the staff got to it and worked through the backlog quickly. Would definitely recommend to others and use again myself. Thanks U-Haul for making a difficult moving day a little easier to get through.

I Called the listed phone # and was told there were 2 car dollies available for use. Was then asked if I wanted to reserve one with a credit card. I approx 15 min away so I felt reasonably confident that the equip would be available when I arrived. However when I arrived at the location there was only 1 and it was reserved. The counter person then informed me I was talking to a dispatch center in another state. They then told me " they always say yes" without confirming availability. I was in an emergent situation and needed the equip. Fortunately the friendly and accommodating counter person was willing to work with me. These are some very helpful and understanding people and are the only reason I would recommend this location. It is unfortunate that the dispatch policy forces these people to deal with upset and frustrated customers on a daily basis. They really seem to be helpful and understanding. For these reasons I would recommend the location but would NOT extend my recommendation to the company. I was given inaccurate information with the sole intention of securing my business with no regard for the poetential urgency of my requirements or regard for my time. 1 very unhappy customer with UHAUL.

I rented a 26' truck first, picked up Sunday 5/7/17. The ramp was half the length of the 10' truck I exchanged the 26' it for on 5/8/17. The shorter ramp was brutal. Very steep++. We assumed that would be just like the others used in the past. Anyway, we got to job site that day and had to make it work. It was crazy hard. Suppose if you have different lengths, they be in the right size trucks.

When there is a line to the door, working quickly would be appreciated. The service was slower than the DMV. There was no point in pre-checking in online. It took me nearly an hour to get through the line and to get my van. I arrived an hour early to be safe and I was still running late to pick up my furniture.

I know it was a busy weekend, but I had a reservation and still waited about 45 minutes to pick up a trailer and about 30 minutes to check-in-return the trailer. I've had this issue at Everett before. I rent U-Haul a few times a year and usually go to North Lynnwood if they have the equipment I need available.

I love the whole operation of the U BOX. Great idea a lot cheaper then the other box shippers. So convenient to pick up and load. The price I was quoted was a little bit higher with hidden fees I have yet to understand. If a sales rep could please send me an itemized list of charges would be helpful. This is my second request for that. Please don't get me wrong. If I need to ship a large quantity of items. I would not call anyone else.

I reserved online for one location (810 n broadway Everett Wa) and my reservation was confirmed. Upon arrival we learned that they don't even have trailers at that location and we had to be sent to a different site. This delay caused us to be late to pick up the item we were supposed to be transporting, but in that time the people we were buying from had to leave. This cost us the patio table we should have purchased, 4 hours of lost time, and the rental fee for the trailer. Not pleased.

Terrible customer service interaction with clerk near closing time. Showed up to return my truck at 655pm, shop closed at 7. I checked the door, it was locked. Lights were on with 2 clerks inside, I tapped on the window several times to get their attention and was ignored. The clock on the wall insude showed 655pm. Then the lights went off. I only needed to know how or what to do since I showed up before closing with my truck rental (a day early, as well). I tapped again and one of the clerks came to the door and in a very stern voice, told me to not tap on the window again and that the key drop was in the wall and he turned around and walked away. All a customer wants is to know they are being taken care of, I only wanted to ask if I could be checked in or if there was some rule in place about getting there 5 minutes before closing, What was the best thing for me to do. He never explained self check in (which I subsequently read). Just a stern voice back to a paying customer and leaving a terrible last impression of this store and this company.

Online & phone support was good, but when the trailer we reserved to pull behind the 26' truck wasn't at this location as was indicated, we had to rearrange our movers & schedule in order to go to another location to get the trailer. Very frustrating & stressful. I asked that they go get the trailer for us so both the truck & trailer were at one location, but they didn't have "the personnel" to do it. Like I did?! They weren't at all sympathetic that we had to go an extra 50 miles out of our way, & reschedule our movers. They made an already stressful move even more so. I didn't think that was good customer service. They did however discount the price.

The thing that bothered me was that I was greeted by an associate and then he started doing paperwork and asked the other associate to take care of me once he was done with the customer that he was helping. Don't make it seem like I'm a strain on your life because I came in at the time I was supposed to. If I did that at my occupation, I'd be let go. I had also called and requested to be informed if there was a different check in or out time and I recieved no communication. This was just an overall piss poor experience. Lastly, my gas guage was below the 3/4 quarter of a tank but I didn't have the time to go back in because I had to get back to work.

First off they gave me a truck with the gas filler neck broken so when i went to fuel up to go across country gas went literally every where at the gas station, had to delay my move and drive through a whole other state to get through the passes because by the time i got the truck back the mountain passes were not safe to drive, then on top of that they did not give me any of the materials i rented online like packing blankets, furniture dolly, or box dolly. I knew i should of just went to the Lynnwood location but convenience won out. I will never again go to that location for anything

although over-all the rental worked well once a couple of problems, which involved long distance calls, were worked out - I am surprised & unhappy with the size of the fuel charge I was charged with. Vehicle went 28 miles, but I was charged almost $24.00 for fuel. That says to me the tank on pickup was NOT filled & that I ended up paying to fill up the tank for the company or for somebody else. The location has very poor communication. My reservation for a hitch installation was rescheduled 3 times due to parts issues. This wouldn't have been an issue if someone just called and told me that the parts weren't in but I drove to the location multiple locations only to be told that we would have to reschedule. Also the electrical work was faulty. Half way through my trip, the electrical for the hitch that was installed stopped working. In years past, ive never had issues but this last experience was horrible.

I had to call the location I had initially reserved a van at to ask what times were available and while she was very nice to let me know my reservation was elsewhere, I was very surprised and concerned to learned it had been changed without my knowledge. We were supposed to drop off our uhaul at a completely different location and when we got there, they did not have room for our uhaul and we were told that we were supposed to have been notified at like 9a.m., but no one called us. We were not happy as we had almost reached our mileage with the one way trip, they did give us an additional 6 miles, but that was barely enough, because the directions she gave were confusing, so we got lost. We ended up finding the place, but were not happy. The people at the new place were decent and did their job.

Let me start by stating that every experience I've had with U-Haul in the past has been wonderful. I have rented numerous trucks and about two weeks ago rented a 6x12 trailer from Bulldog Storage in Arlington (I HIGHLY recommend that location), and I have never had issues with any of the service I've received. At this location, the rental process was excruciatingly slow. I waited at least 20 minutes for the two workers to help two customers. When I finally got to the counter, the representative was pretty abrupt, on the cusp of being rude. To cap it all off, the person who attached the trailer to our truck didn't attach it properly. We noticed within a mile of driving that every time we would stop, there was give and the trailer would lurch forward into the truck. We stopped once to tighten it, but that didn't help (which we noticed when we got farther down the road). We had to stop again (and finding a place to stop with a 12' trailer isn't easy), and my brother had to take the trailer completely off the hitch, re-attach everything, and tighten it. From then on, it was much better but still not as tight as it should have been. I didn't have this problem when I rented the exact same location two weeks ago from Bulldog. The first time we noticed the looseness of the connection, I called the location, and the person at the store didn't seem to even listen to my question. I told him that the connection was loose and asked if it was customary for there to be some give in the attachment of a trailer. He simply responded with, "Let me connect you to roadside assistance" and transferred me immediately without even giving me the chance to respond. I called back again, but this time no one at the store answered so I talked with a representative (Michael?) at some sort of central call center. After I explained to him at least three times what the issue was (because he didn't listen properly the first times I explained it), he said he would send a message to the store and they would call me. The person who attached the trailer in the first place called me back and got a bit defensive when I told him that the hitch was sloppy and not tight enough. (On a sidenote, this particular worker, though quite nice in person, liked to de-attach the "ho" that he used to get the trailer to the truck with such force that it would spring up two feet into the air, about a foot from my truck's bumper. I'm probably not describing this very well, but I know there is a safer way to do this because I've seen it done.) He told us that we could come back to the store and he would re-attach the trailer, but that wasn't a feasible option because I was already paying two men to work for me, and driving back to the store at that point would have cost me more money than the cost of the trailer rental itself. Ultimately, the hitch, once my brother reseated it, worked and there were no problems (though there was still give, I didn't think that it would come

I was charged more for delivery than originally quoted, I wasn't able to get my boxes delivered until 4 days after I moved into my house...and I will never use ANY U Haul services again, nor will I recommend uhaul to my friends and family. I would like to say that both the ladies that did my delivery were very professional, respectful, timely, and did an excellent job. I had absolutely no issues with the delivery personnel. The general manager Garrett was very polite and respectful when I spoke with him about my issues, but he failed to offer me any sort of compensation for my troubles. I think this company has a serious communication problem between departments. Also there was an issue with charging my card, twice...which was not my fault, yet when Danielle called to leave me messages about non-payment she was very rude and said"we are not going to pick up your boxes until you pay us" with a tone in her voice that implied I was trying to not pay...which was absolutely never my intentions.

My review of the location is not in any way a review of the overall service, or LACK of service I received. I specifically made a reservation using your on-line site to find a location with a specific trailer. The Evergreen location was NOT my location of choice. I made my reservation specifically for the Fuel Express shop located in Snohomish on Route 9 for a reason. If I wanted to have to go to Everett, I would have made my reservation there in the first place. Why did your system confirm the utility trailer was available at the loaction in Snohomish, only to then change pickup locations on me the day before I needed the equipment, and didn't give me the choice of locations to choose from? And to make things even more difficult, I was told I had to return the trailer to the Evergreen location, or I would be charged extra. Thank you U-haul for making this the worst experience I have had when it comes to specifically picking a location that I needed, and at the last minute, making me go out of my way to pickup and drop off the trailer. I cannot tell you how great of a customer experience that was after I had done my due diligence to ensure the location of my choice to meet my needs, only to have that all eliminated the day before I needed the trailer.

Our 2 crates were different in quality. One had piano hinge door and was easy to close with big latch. This crate also had tiedowns within it. The other crate had a few hinges and a latch that wouldn't line up easily when door was shut, even on flat ground (cement pad). Even with this minor challenge with the one crate, we would recommend u-haul to others, we had a great experience, nothing was damaged in shipment in either crate. When I arrived the 3 workers where out side and they see me come in but no body come to help 5 min later I have to come out side and wave at them and one guy come in and tus say can I help you any way I rent the dolly and return it 6 hrs later, well when I arrived the same guy come out and say ok let me unhuck it and your on your way he ask if email receipt was ok i say yes and he say you good to go. 2 days later I receive a call from uhal asking when I was going to return the dolly. When I initially called in to make the reservation to have boxes dropped off. picked up and eventually delivered to Port Angeles there was some confusion. The person I was speaking with was in Arizona, not Washington State. The had my boxes being routed through Canada. The contractor that received the work order from Uhaul knew this isn't what I wanted. The customer service folks in Arizona weren't aware of the ferry system and using it reduced travel time and the cost dramatically. Once all that was sorted out, things went like clockwork. I would like to give a special thanks to Natalie...she delivered and picked up the empty boxes from my new residence in Port Angeles. She did a great job keeping me informed. If there were any delays she would call me right away.

I called multiple times trying to find out how much delivery of my ubox would cost and no one had an answer. I was transfered multiples and then someone told me $200. This caused me to start to make other arrangements because that was just too expensive. Then I received a call from the location telling me it was only $99 plus tax. I had issues making reservations online and customer service. I made reservations at one location and then decided a different location would be more convenient so I made reservations at the other location and then cancelled the first location online. I later received an E-mail that said that both reservations were cancelled. I called customer service and they made the 2nd reservation active again. I then received another E-mail saying that it was cancelled. I called a 1-800 number and was told that they could not help me until the morning. I called customer service in the morning and they said that it was still active. I was able to rent the truck at the time that I requested. Later that day I received a call from the first reservation that was cancelled and they were wondering if I was coming in to pick up the truck. I felt bad because I thought that one was cancelled. It was a stressful experience doing my reservations online but was a pleasant experience when I actually picked up the truck and returned it.

This is not the first time this has happened to us where we have reserve a trailer for 24 hrs and then we get there and you tell us it's not for 24 due to someone wanting it after that. We just recently rented a trailer for 24 hrs from Friday at 5pm to sat at 5 pm and I get there and I was asked if I could have it back by 3 I said maybe but no promises. At 3 pm I get a very rude voicemail from the office stating I am late returning the trailer which I wasn't and when I got there at 5pm on the dot to return it. You guys try to charge my card again for another day. I am very annoyed that why would you guys make it so someone can rent something for 24hrs then ask them to bring it back early. I will no longer be using the main u haul store in Everett. You guys are rude and need to stop over booking yourself . You representative informed that if I brought back the truck with less than 1/4 tank there would be service charge of $30 plus an elevated price per gallon to have uhaul replace the gas. I knew I was only going to use a few gallons and was willing to pay for the high cost of uhaul refueling. I even asked again and was informed the $30 fee was only if it was beliw1/4 tank. I received the tryck with slightly over a half tank and returned it at 1/2 and still charged the $30. I realize that might be your policy but I asked twice because I wasn't planning on messing with a few gallons for a few dollars more. I was misinformed and would like my $30 refunded. Very disappointed. Otherwise the staff and equipment was outstanding. Thank you

The manager was congenial and tried to help, the warehouse forklift driver was nice, knew my name and did her best to smooth things over. The Ubox delivery driver was awesome and very good at her job. Ability to contact my local store was next to impossible by phone, I was bounced to the call center 95% of the time then 50% of the time didn't receive a call back from my local store. I had to to wait 3 out of 4 times to access my Uboxes since they weren't out at the time I had specified the day before. 4 out of 5 times I was in the store I had to wait 20-45min., they couldn't find me in the computer system by name, account number, phone number, or Ubox numbers.. Never did hear why it was posing such an issue. . The random office staff were less than helpful since "they don't do anything with Uboxes".. And what is the customer supposed to do at that point?? Unable to contact by phone, and the staff doesn't "do" Uboxes?? Moving is stressful enough and then to deal with these frustrating things was enough to push me over the edge. I'll highly consider utilizing another company when I move again.

The biggest issue I had was that my original reservation, which was booked at the Snohomish Fuel Stop, somehow got botched. They gave away my truck and told me there was nothing they could do about it. They couldn't explain to me how a truck I had reserved, speaking to someone on the phone, not online, was released to someone else. And, they told me there was nothing they could do about it and that I would have to call the national UHaul number. The national folks found me a truck in Everett, which was over 30 minutes (each way) out of my way. This whole episode put me 2 hours behind schedule and I had to miss a planned dinner with my friends. The person who helped me at the 1-800 number was great, but the Snohomish folks left an incredibly bad taste in my mouth.

When I called to reserve my truck the rep did not understand that I needed the truck for 24 hrs and only booked me for 8. When I went to pick up the truck I was told I needed to get a 25 foot truck instead of a 10 foot truck and that I had to pay more for this because my reservation had now changed. When I said my reservation was for 24 hrs he said no it wasn't it is only for 8 because that is what is in the computer. He was being very rude and telling me that I was wrong. I ask if they have the recording of my phone call and he said yes but it would take a week to get anything done about it and wasn't very happy about have to write the whole thing up for me to get a refund. I hope that Uhaul really does record their calls because I am very unhappy about the service I received and I am going to h have a hard time using this location again and I am going to think hard about whether or not I use Uhaul again. Replace the stuff, this u-haul has the poorest customer service I've seen, just because I accidentally forgot to drop off key and got called before my rental day that I paid off before leaving the store I got call multiple times to return the key, since it was in the equipment return line, and they did not have a spare key to move it, I showed up to the store like 2 hrs after receiving the call and I came to find the stuff pissed over that because it was parked and they charged me 2 days when I picked it up after 4 pm and took it back same day around 9, I tried to explain the matter to the stuff and he made sure he pointed this out "because you did not leave the key I charged you for 2 days for our inconvenient. It honestly left a bitter taste in mouth after talking to such a rude person being an honest mistake. Overall I would not suggest it to no one. The trucks are pretty good and clean and general manager Garret Vanderplaats seems to agree with me in the matter after I called about the unfair charge the stuff did, ending up the called saying he will take care of the Chargers stuff did over being mad at a customer for forgetting to drop off the key thinking they had a spare. I was over charged on my credit card for the services I used. By greater than $20. Also, I paid for a Dolly, which was not available in the truck I rented, as specified it would be. The drivers side mirror was loose and constantly moved so I could not see unless I pulled the vehicle over, unbuckled and fixed it myself (which I had to do multiple times) it became unsafe to drive. The back of the truck was dirty when I got it. I am unsure why I was over charged on my card, and how come I did not get the Dolly that I asked for. I would like to be reimbursed (I can show bank statements for the over charge vs the receipt) I would also like to be reimbursed for the inconvience for the mirror, the Dolly and the back of the truck.

Received wrong and conflicting information about the location of my UBox after a cross-country move -- staff unhelpful, zero customer service skills. Had to drive to two different locations to pick up my UB after a lot of back and forth with the contact center. Genuinely surprised they located it. If the contact center model doesn't work, drop it. And please provide better training to staff re: customer service. I wasted time and money due to bad info from people who work remotely who seemed to know nothing about individual U-Haul locations. Would never recommend this service -- it would be well worth the extra money to use POD or any other cube/box option. Won't make that mistake again.

i've rented many Uhaul trailers from several different locations and even though i don't like the fact that i can't call in directly and have to use a service out of state this location might be my best experience so far. I wanted to rent a 5x9 or if they were gone i'd be ok with a 6x12 utility trailer. i didn't think i needed to reserve one because there were 2 5x9's and a 6x12 sitting at the location closest to me the evening before i needed to use one. sadly they were all gone when i came by in the morning maybe because it was labor day weekend and the 1st of the month. then my back up store only 10 minutes away that has the same # of trailers were also out. so i had my wife call a UHaul close to where i was moving things from that was 90 minutes from our house and just as we had confirmed our desire to rent his 6x12 he put us on hold and we were transferred to Uhaul maybe in Ohio. since we wanted to make sure a trailer was there at the location we hung up trying to reach that location again and couldn't get through. so i had my wife try a different store just a bit closer and that person at that small location said that he didn't have a trailer, but i should try the main Everett store so we did. we called and was told they had the trailer and then they told me they were transferring me to the main Ohio location to give them my credit card information. since i knew they were sending us there that helped so we gave them our information. then when i arrived at the store is really where i want to say this store was AMAZING. they must have had 20 people in there returning and renting trucks and trailers with 3 people helping them. usually there is maybe one or two people in front of me and it takes 20 minutes at the locations i usually use. that said i watched in amazement as people were all friendly, waited my turn and when it came up the paperwork was ready and i was handed it and told where to pick up my trailer. so i go to that spot and 3 more friendly young men move the very heavy 6x12 in behind my Honda Pilot and had me ready to drive away maybe 30 minutes total after arriving. WELL DONE UHAUL and the EVERETT STORE. thanks and the trailer worked fine for my needs for the last 3 days. Dean Strand

On 9-4-16 we had reserved a auto transport confirmation number 933252292 from the lynwood location at 14429 hwy 99 lynwood washington in which we recieved a text for a 12pm pick up with the text message coming thru at 12:06pm. We called the scheduling to make sure there wasnt an auto transport closer she no so my husband left our home which is about 45 min to an hr away. The lynwood location attempted to contact my husband who was already on the road to go pick up the auto transport. When he arrived at that location he was told he had been bumped and they no longer had an auto transport avaliable which in our opinion is horrible. We wasted 2hrs of our day trying to get the auto transport and eventually gave up and rented one the following day from the Evergreen way location which has always treated us well... We will never again go to the lynwood location in which we were poorly treated.

I rented it for 5 miles and they charged me 140$, while I was driving I looked at the receipt and noticed the price was 140$ and had to turn back to talk to the employees about the price, and they had very bad customer service and were very rude, when I asked to speak to the manager they wouldn't let me and wouldn't give me the managers number either, I do not recommend doing business with this company again.

Pick up phone at the store Call back customer, I had left 3 messages with call center, without one call back, super frustrating. When I went into store, I asked for the manager and was brushed off, too busy, but not one other customer in the store! When I did pick up my vehicle, at 5:45 for a one o'clock appointment, I didn't get a walk through on work completed or any advise on my new trailer hitch. I had originally scheduled a morning appointment almost two weeks previous and had an automated rescheduling process that assigned me a new installation date, no real communication. Overall my uhaul experience was frustrating, uninformative and expensive. I will do my part in letting my friends know that this uhaul store is sub-par and disorganized!

good busy location. Not much parking - could be on a bigger lot (but of course that would be difficult). Received good service, but the trailer was dirty and running lights did not work - only brake and turn signals did. But given the need for a trailer on short notice, I was pleased to be able to find one that did the job. Thank you.

I recently rented trailers on two occasions from the Everett UHaul at 6443 Evergreen Way. Both times I was helped quickly and politely. The tall man with gray hair at the counter was friendly and professional. The thin, young man in the yard with curly hair was Johnny on the spot. Fast and friendly. This all made the rental experience so much better. Thank you. There was also a man white darker hair at the counter who was helpful and polite. Polite goes a long way in my book. It's becoming so rare these days.

I have been a customer 2 x per year for 10+ years. This was the worst experience and will take my business elsewhere In the future. When picking up the unit they spent 15 minutes talking about a report they needed. Somehow they put the return time as 3pm when we weren't even loading until 4 pm and I was paying a 24 hour rate and was interrupted with a very negative phone call. Garrett seems to have lost the importance of customer service in the last year. I do hope this is posted as there are lots of other options for our business

I have used this location 5 or six times in the last 3 years or so, this is my first problem, On the last day The truck started running rough, dying at stops, and sucking down the fuel, did not complete the move because of it. I should of been compensated for my troubles

I called to make a reservation for a truck and to have the wiring on my hitch adjusted. When we arrived, after quite a wait, we were informed that they don't work closely with the company (uhaul!?!) that makes reservations and the 9am app. wouldn't work since the mechanic wouldn't arrive until 11am. The truck was fine until we returned. We parked in the designated spot and had to wait for 15 min before going in to look for someone. They were busy, right?? No! There were 2-3 other people inside also waiting. Took another 10+ min. before anyone finally came downstairs to help. Pretty frustrating. The mechanic was great however. Even though we weren't apparently on the books for the rewire, the mechanic was amazing and still took the job, worked quickly, was super informative about what the issue was, and did great work. With better support/more people inside, and smooth reservations, this would have been a better experience.

The associate that first saw us was extremely rude and trying to charge us a bunch of extra fees for Bullshit reasons that made no sense and we're uncalled for. But the owner came along and was extremely helpful and accommodating to make sure we were a very satisfied customer by the time we left.

It was great that we could drop off the car dolly at another location that was near the area we had taken the car to. Instead of driving all the way back to the first location. My only concern was talking to someone to let them know where we wanted to leave it at. She had our reservation info but seemed to struggle with where we wanted to drop it off at. Overall we had a great experience. The owner of the location we picked up was very friendly.

The existing staff was exceptionally helpful, but under-staffed for a busy Saturday afternoon with several employees wearing many hats. Wait time was in excess of 45 min at the counter, with 11 people in line to one cashier. The large, obnoxious signs regarding prosecution for thieves and miscreants was a bit much - even for Everett, WA. Also dismayed by the ~$1 per mile charge on most trucks, even for in-town moves. As a result we rented a trailer instead. In the end it served our needs better than a truck.

I had a reservation at Silverlake Safe Storage and when I showed up at 10am the truck was "lost". So, I had to drive 8 miles, wait in line for 30 minutes, just to unload my car's content into the truck, then drive back to Silverlake Safe storage, unload the contents, then load my storage, and the previous storage. The whole thing ended up adding 10 miles and 2 hours onto my move.

The general manager Garrett helped us and he was fast, efficient and very nice with a good sense of humor. It was very busy in the store when we picked up our truck and dropped it off but we did not feel rushed and overall had a great experience. The truck ran well and was easy to drive. I drive a Fiat 500 and had no problems driving the truck.Thank you for helping to make our move quick and easy.
