Unfortunately, I had an accident with the truck when I failed to clear a bridge in Loveland. I also damaged the brand new bedroom set that I was transporting home. I met with the U-Haul representative to examine the damage and determine if I should make a claim on my insurance. Unfortunately, I did not opt to pay the $16 for insurance, largely based on never having any issues in renting trucks from U-Haul on several occasions (although this was the largest truck I had rented in recent history). During the damage inspection, the U-Haul representative told me that this type of accident (failure to clear the Loveland bridge) happened very frequently; however there was no warning provided at the store prior to rental. He then offered to settle up on the damage for around $345 that day; likely because of U-Haul's insurance coverage for the trucks and to cover the deductible and then some. I agreed and paid that extra money in reliance on that promise. When I received my credit card statement, the location charged me for the damage settlement and also over $3K for the damage! Based on the misrepresentation, I reasonably relied in paying the $345 which tripled my bill and I didn't submit it to my insurance carrier. I want the $3K charge removed immediately or unfortunately I may have to pursue legal action. It would be the first time in my 23 years as a practicing attorney I would have to take this step but I need U-Haul to honor its commitment. I hope this is not necessary and I would appreciate an immediate response.

Attendant that helped me very kind and professional. Asssited with hook up which took all of five minutes. Trailer worked perfect, all lights functional and was a real help for my move. $25 a day for 3 days saved me lots of cost from my movers by moving smaller items and all boxes myself to my new home, only a mile or so away from my current location and it was empty which helped. .

There were no issues with the rental that was fine. What was concerning to me was none of the employees were wearing masks. We are a state where masks are required and with the current environment, you would think they would be following protocol. It makes me question if I would rent from that location again.

Someone called off and left worker alone and he was running around trying to help everyone probably a good idea to have back up help as needed although he did a great job getting to everyone When I picked up my truck there where about 4 other people needing assistance

all were very helpful besides the person that was on the phone to schedule my ubox pick up didn't tell the people it was coming. Dave saved the day though! Got 2 boxes and 1 truck in the past 4 weeks and overall was a great experience.

Milford, OH agent was not able to explain why his fee was higher than the amount of my confirmation. A u-haul representative reserved my trailer for $43.77. I couldn't leave Milford without agreeing to their fee of $51.24.

Had to wait both times for customer service a little bit. Had to locate someone who was with another customer. Is there a simple system to let people coming to rent or dropping off that we are in the correct location? I was handled in a timely manner overall since I was patiently waiting for the other customer to be taken care of. Overall check out and check in was easy. Thanks!

I will never use the online system again. Every time I do this I have to still go inside show my ID that they take a picture of (I did this myself in the app) and all of the other questions....whats the point? Also when I drop off I have to go find someone on the property they say my receipt will be emailed to me but I ALWAYS HAVE TO CALL UHAUL TO GET MY RECEIPT. NO MORE WILL I USE YOUR SYSTEMS.

My issue is with U-haul not with location. No truck where rented online had to drive to another location and pay for mileage for their mistake. The delay in picking up made movers hired in the website to run over an extra hour again additional out of pocket expense. Was told that the mileage rate would be decreased by.20 per mile a $5 savings I am out $150 thanks U-haul

I couldn't check my truck back in when I returned. I rented it online. I noticed when I log in to rent my name states Tonya Troxell. When I check out and pay it states Tonya Black. I have returned trailers via app without any problems. The truck wasn't showing on my account. So I couldn't return it.

The online reservation system is deceiving at best. We rented a 15' truck based on the dimensions listed online. The issue is that the 15' length includes the raised portion over the cab. We also opted NOT to have a hand-truck or blankets with our rental, but they were included and physically in the way of our cargo and loading/unloading process. We had to remove the hand-truck and then go back to our original location just to retrieve it.

After hour return app is terrible. It should be more like scan the code from your contract Scan a code at the location Drop the keys. The app would not load or give confirm code It did not work.

I wish there was another company to be used when moving. I have never had a good experience with uHaul. The latest rip off was renting a van for 2 days to move 2 MILES. No joke one end of the street to the other (you can literally see our old house from ours) we may have went 6 miles in total and were charged over 80 miles. When I told the guy the situation, he shrugged and literally said not my problem. The only good thing about this is a younger guy named Dave who I dealt with. I went to fill up propane and he was incredibly nice and offered his apologies for how I was treated last time. I would move him up to some position where customers are put first and not treated as we are doing a favor for UHaul.

Honestly, best service i've ever recieved renting a Uhaul. The guy who helped at check out was smart and fast. Quick to help me get going. Then, when i returned the unit - both ppl were very helpful, got me unhooked, made sure everything went well and asked what else they could help with. Could have been a television commercial!

The first van I rented had a ton of spider webs in it. The second van I rented, I needed to pick up at 7:00 a.m. I went through everything online and the key wasn't in the lock box. Had to wait 2 hours until UHaul was open to get the keys. Screwed up my day.

Showed up 10 minutes before close dropping off trailer putting it in same spot as pulled. The worker wouldn't close us out and said we had to do it online so 15 minutes after taking pictures and getting the web page to co operate it gone done when the guy could have done it with a few clicks on the key board
