When I got to pick up the truck it was not ready. The door and windshield were frozen solid. They had to spray the back door multiple times. I had a timeline and expected the truck to be ready to go. They did not go over anything with me as far as inside the truck and how things worked. Also, the dolly was unattached in the back of the truck and the guy said I would be charged for it so he said he would attach it. When I got to my location and opened the back of the truck the dolly had disconnected and fallen over. It was in the way when I was trying to load the truck because I needed every square inch inside the truck. It was not a good experience.RENEE S.

I would say a couple things. As the location itself goes: I have been to some very awful u-haul locations, so this one is kind of a relief. They are generally helpful and knowledgeable. As a company, U-haul leaves much to be desired in just about every way. The app is slow and buggy and not very user-friendly. The â€œconvenientâ€ mobile check-in took almost 20 minutes and I still had to go in the store to get the key anyway. I was also not stoked to pay 200% more in fees than my estimate indicated when I reserved the truck online.Zachary G.

Have more 5 X 9 hi gate trailers available at more locations. I had to drive 25 miles out of my way, past several other U Haul locations to find this particular trailer I needed.Franklin T.

Employee seemed irritated. I asked if the trailer was too low. He said no but I have to pull over and flip the receiver over to make it higher so the chains were not dragging so much. He said I would receive a new emailed recipient but I never got one.JOHN C.
Dropped off after hours and didn't get an email that I was all checked in until almost 10:00 am the next morning so I was concerned I did something wrong. I took a screenshot of the confirmation, but would have been nice for a timely email since every other communication was almost instantaneous.MARLENE K.

The employees were great - no complaints there. The price was fair. My only issue was the truck - the tire light (leak) was on the entire time I rented itâ€¦the â€œcheck engineâ€ light stayed onâ€¦and when I pressed the brakes, I felt the brake pads slipping on the rotors. That's was kinda worrisome. But I also get great service here, so I'll be back. Thanks!jeffrey D.

The â€œmanagerâ€ or person that was supposed to open at 9am, was late. And apparently this is a regular occurrence bc another customer waiting outside on line behind me shared he rented from the same location over the summer and waited 15mins for him to arrive. At least that was when it was warmer out. This time we waited until 9:30 and it was cold and drizzling. No apologies or acknowledgement about the wait when he got there either. He just silently walked passed everyone and opened up. And to top it all off as I said the guy behind me recognized him from the last time, but the person in front of me asked if there would be a discount for the time lost. To which your employee stated that wasn't even his store, that he received a phone call last minute to open up and he â€œgenerously obligedâ€. Smells like a dirty liar to me. I know all businesses are feeling the pressure of staff shortages but the gall of some people to take advantage is extremely unprofessional.Catherine P.

Explain how a truck rental that is 29.99 ends up charging me 60.48 I didn't get the insurance and I don't know what the extra 30.00 dollars was for. I only put 7 miles on the truck and 7 times .99 is not 30.00 I would appreciate an explanation for what the extra charge is forJEAN A.

The trailer was not cleaned out. I was asking for 24 hour rental. I picked it up Saturday at 8:00 am. So, my return time, without penalty, is Sunday at 8:00pm. Problem is they were not open Sunday at 8:00am. How can I return it without penalty? I was not aware of this penalty, either. Plus I was not aware of the option of the to return using uhaul.com/share. Then, I was informed a $15.00 cleaning fee after I had cleaned out the trailer at my home. It seems those little things add up. I called u-haul two times to learn more and how to remove the $20 + $15 fines. This additional cost could be as costly as the cargo trailer rental. The store was clean and neat. The employees were kind and respectful. The trailer was as expected and was a please to tow. The complaint I have is there is so many little things needed to be aware that was never explained. I was asked for insurance, I said no. And asked other question, can't remember, and answered accordingly. I will use your services in the future I'm sure. Its the little things that count. I can't think of anything. I have rented several times from this location in the past two years. The guy with all the tattoos is the best. He is helpful, friendly, and flat out works his tail off. That guy deserves a raise. I wish I had gotten his name. He is the best. When I picked up the trailer there was a different guy there with him that was great as well.
