The office is very dated and dirty. The workers were grumpy and unpleasant. It's very unwelcoming in general. The truck itself was fine. I would avoid this place in the future if possible.

Since we're in the middle of a pandemic, maybe this could be also implemented: Contactless payments (Apple Pay) and signs that say all equipment wiped down with alcohol wipes and cleaned before renting out.

It wasn't anything with the location it was the fact that I got no email confirmation about the locations being switched. I looked through all my emails and I couldn't find a single email about the switch and am extremely frustrated at the situation

I made reservations at Lake Chevron for pickup at 12:30pm. Very disappointed to find out after reaching there to find out they don't have any idea about my reservation. You're customer service is very poor. Glad I don't have to deal with your company frequently 😀

We reserved via app but couldn't automatically pick up our van so we had to wait for customer service for a while. They had marked the fuel line above where it was actually fulled up to (marked 7/8 but it was between 7/8 and 3/4). They amended the contract but that too took time. Also tried calling customer service to extend our rental but were hung up on. Wound up extending via online chat.

Overall I had a really bad experience with Uhaul. They messed up my reservation causing me tons of headache trying to figure out an alternate solution and incur more costs and time.

If you are going to promote an online rental app, you should make sure it works. Several people in front of me used it and the clerk said it didn't work for them. Why advertise a unique feature if it doesn't work? Is U-Haul a government agency?

Be more transparent about pricing. Your advertising says $20 in town moves. However, a 2 hour rental cost about $100 all inclusive. Being more transparent about pricing levers and what an average customers can expect to pay.

Due to the employees not doing a check I incurred several 100 dollars in expense and my truck rental doubled on top if that. I will not use this location in the future.

Checked in online before arriving but still need to Wait in queue for half an hour even arrive on time, what is the purpose of online check in? Should we just pick up the key and show the ID and go? It is a must change for online process.

We called the night before needing a pickup. Although one wasn't available a technician called that evening and offered and arranged an alternative vehicle. Excellent service!

there is a big empty “Petco” parking lot and there is some sort of war going on with 3 Tow trucks parked in menacing posture and i was explicitly told not to park there. (my rental of van was local day use only). So, why can't U-Haul make a deal with Petco, to allow parking. Why did I have to park 2 blocks away at the Safeway store. Parking should be easy not difficult.

Lack of parking. Employees were not helpful or welcoming. Uhaul did not allow the opportunity for me to stay in my vehicle for the rental despite website and my reservation saying they would. Charged me for gas despite me filling the truck back up. Overall poor experience. I will not be back.

Ken and his associate (I didn't get his name) were so helpful. Ken made sure my truck was there and ready to go and even was able to switch out my reserved truck for a smaller one. I've heard horror stories about truck rentals and was keeping my fingers crossed, but everything went so smoothly, and I am so appreciative of the this crew.

The person cleaning out our rental van took off her mask while cleaning. During a pandemic when we're all trying to stay safe and healthy, it seemed a bit crazy that she was unmasked while supposedly disinfecting vehicles. Needless to say, we did our own cleaning when she was finished.

Uhaul treated us like crap. The people at the rental places were just fine. It was the phone support that was absolute garbage. I'm not sure I'll ever use uhaul again. That's easily thousands of dollars you lost yourself by treating us poorly.
