The staff in this location is very friendly and knowledgeable. The person receiving the truck made sure I received an email before I left with the confirmation. This has been one of the better uhauls I’ve visited.

U-Haul kept saying that they didn't have the truck even though I dropped it off and dropped the key in the key drop. It was confusing and not enough signage pointing towards the key drop or where to park the truck.

Uhaul in general did a terrible of job of locating a trailer for me and I had to drive an hour out of my way to pick up the trailer. The pick up spot changed 3 times before they finally found a trailer. The trailer had holes in it and I was told by the people where I dropped it off that they never should have rented it to me. I have pictures I would like to send you so please contact me so I can send them. They also upsold me insurance after I had already purchased insurance on the website. In general I was deeply dissatisfied with Uhaul as a company

I Have two complaints and hope Manage ment gets Back in touch with me.:- (1) When I visited the First U-Haul store they took $48.00 from my Card it was never returned. Can the management kindly assist in having it returned. (2) The mechanics are to make sure that the swivel on the Trolley are lock at all times before a customer leaves the U-Haul Premise. An unlock Trolley can cause serious problems to both the Renter and U-Haul.

The paper work we were given was inaccurate with the gas tank, we went inside spoke to the store manager she said she will send us a link to update as she could not do anything about the wrong info on the paper work, ok fine.. we never got the link when we finally did and we opened it, it was expired.. call them again 1 lady tells us there’s nothing she can do until we return the car, 2nd lady tells us there’s nothing we can do period, so we call back for the 3rd and they tell us we are calling wrong department after being transferred 3 times it hangs up on us. We drop off the car write a person note for them to call us, the guy does not call us and changes us extra for gas we never originally had since the paper work was incorrect!! this place was decent while back now they just hire bunch of lazy people that should have never gotten the job!!!!

This is usually my first location it where is home! I just wish Uhaul would reimburse some of the money if a customer doesn't used the truck and auto transporter for the 4 day package!

After our last experience I’m not sure. My first question was there a change in reserving a vehicle? And if so why wasn’t this relayed when making the reservation. We are a nonprofit organization that has used this location each month for the last seven years (at a cost of $4893.00) to help pick up the items needed to service our Emergency Food Pantry that services Belleville and the the surrounding area. Everything is on a tight schedule, once we were told you wouldn’t release the vehicle until you saw the credit card and you would not take it over the phone nearly put us in a bind. If you check your records you will see that we have done business at this location without any problems, if this is going to be and on going problem we will take our business elsewhere, it is our hope this can be resolved before we place our next reservation.

There was a lock on the truck, and they didn’t give us the key. We had to drive all the way back to the location to unlock the padlock because the employee didn’t realize she didn’t give us the right key. This basically wasted an hour of our time and money.

I was given a truck that was not in good working order. The drivers side door would not close properly. Vehicles should be checked before rented out.

The construction takes away customer parking. It is difficult to find a parking spot in this area. The first person who helped me and was husband was not very polite when she told us to move our car. Please get a sign and be more polite to customers.

They over charge i only use the trailer for 8 hours and they trying to charge me 2 periods fee 29.95 each coming to a total of $62 and some change with taxes but i will definitely call for them to fix it but it seem like a problem I shouldn’t be having or loosing my time calling them to fix that

I was told as I was leaving to make sure I brought it back with a full tank of gas. I went a total of 28 miles. Imagine my surprise when I pulled into the gas station and the truck took 6 gallons of gas (at $2.89 a gallon) Obviously the previous user did not fill it up. I brought my gas receipt with me but was told "if it wasnt full when you picked it up, you did not have to fill it up yourself' Obviously you can not tell how accurate a gas needle is when you get into a vehicle so while it looked full to me, it apparently wasnt. Other wise though, the people there were very friendly and got me in and out in a reasonable amount of time.

The toll roads issue is a problem. most of the roads traveled have auto pay tolls with no booth. How are you supposed to pay the tolls and avoid getting violations in the mail regarding this. E-Z Pass should be offered.

Nothing everyone here did an absolutely stellar job. The rental experience went smooth and fast with a smile on employees faces while getting served. Than I left an item in the rental and they notified me and made sure I got it back the same day!!!! Can’t beat the service here everyone needs a raise!!!

Everything went well. Truck was ready with the items I requested. I asked to be shown how to open and close the rear gate and he showed me how. I refilled the tank. I returned the truck in just under 4 hours. No problems.

The guys at this location were AWESOME! Jeremy did a great job to get me on my way since I was sent to his store from another location since they didn’t have the truck i reserved although it was supposed to be guaranteed. The Newark location will be the only store I deal with from here on out. All the guys were very pleasant, professional and helpful.

The truck wouldn’t start i contacted my triple A and after the truck constantly shut off i called in to see if someone wanted to come assist me with it or should I just chance it shut down again on broad st and she insist me to hold on and never got back on the phone

your charges are ridiculous high rented the same truck one month earlier with a dolly cost 201 rented the same truck without a dolly this month the cost 360 really because the truck is in demand you charge me more because I need it that does not sound right

I was actually going to use the utility van just to pick up a sectional Sony going to use it for about 4 hours before Chinle when picking up the van and driving it I notice immediately that it didn't have much power when we hit the highway immediately I smelled the octane gas I noticed that this vehicle needed a tune-up and also there was a battery light on as well it appears that it looks like this was set up to a way where we could waste more gas when on highway or utilizing heavyweight I believe that this location is actually modifying their vehicles for them to get more money because when you rent out Vehicles you must first check them and make sure that they are sufficient enough and safe enough to properly use the vehicle that I utilized yesterday had lots of signs that it was modified to a way that it did not give full power giving more gasoline and you can literally smell it coming out of the tailpipe I've spoken to the manager and he just apologized and stated that these vehicles are very old and the wear-and-tear I told him that you should look at each vehicle before giving it to a customer that is unsaved and improper customer service

I had the scare of my life the ice from the top of the truck was not removed and it started to fall into the windshield of the truck causing me to abruptly hit the breaks. Because of this my heart angina was out of control. Please clean ice and snow of the trucks this can cause a serious accident.

Hire will train dedecated employees. I was giving wrong information regarding dropp off location and was never told when to dropp off truck. Also feul marks was not accurate and when i told them they agreed but only put a new mark with pencil ( very careless)
