I was charged for insurance, even though when I reserved I opted out of it. I did not catch it until after I had left the premise. I also did not receive my reservation for a dozen furniture pads. The trailer also had a fair amount of dirt, which I had to sweep out prior to loading my furniture.

I would suggest that vehicles be cleaned and maintained .... 1st truck when started, the brake pedal went to floor, had to change to another truck that was banged up bad. Broken mirror, broken sun visor clip (so sun visor hung down), drivers door damaged to the point the door had to be slammed hard in order to close it and bug splatter on windshield with personal belongings of prior rental in cab then the box area of the truck- Grass clippings in it to the point it had to be swept out by myself prior to being used. Not the best experience this time considering I've used U-Haul many times prior

The phone calls made to the call center were very inconsistent. The first Lady I spoke with had a VERY difficult time adding the cost, insurance and miles together correctly. The second person, a gentleman I spoke with gave me a different total and then when I got to store after express online registering the gentleman told me the information didn’t keep and yet I got another total. Upon dropping off the truck, the gentleman was helpful. I felt bad I didn’t have more money for a better tip.

I want to tell who ever will listen that "Cal" knows the meaning of Customer Service. He went above and beyond the call of duty for me today. I was having an issue with my truck plug and he could have told me to go get it fixed and then come back for the trailer I was picking up. No he stepped up and helped me solve the issue and got me on my way. I have rented trucks and trailers from this location before and have always been treated fair and had everything in order when I got there and when I was returning. What Cal did today was take what could have been a bad situation for me and turned it into a wonderful experience. If I was looking for an employee he would be the person I would want having my back with my business. Thank You for everything you did for me today. It was a real pleasure meeting you and I really want everyone to know what a great job you did. Thank You Again Harry Snavely

I am so glad that I decided to cancel my appointment rental at compass self storage. I was forced to cancel due to no other truck being available when the one I received needed heavy maintenance/ transmission work. I ended up going to u haul of roseville and the lovely woman there went out of her way to help me. The truck worked perfectly.

I had excellent service from U haul and with the third party movers affiliated with U-Haul their names is Chris And Matt they were courteous and polite and they did an excellent job with the moving of my thing's from start to finish I give them both ten stars they are a great asset to your team and and company I would recommend them to anyone that needs help at a short notice with moving ???????????????

Picked up the U-Haul which the bed was FULL of broken glass. Got charged extra miles due to lack of communication on their end. Dropped the truck off at a different location cause I was told I could just to be called TWO hours later telling me I had to come get it and return it where I originally rented it. Over all a huge joke.

I read the bad reviews about unprofessional staff, incorrect mileage and gas readings, dirty trucks, etc..and was reluctant but reserved a cargo van regardless. I am glad I did. The staff was both professional and friendly, the mileage and gas were recorded correctly, the van was clean, it did have a funny smell but you could tell they tried masking it with air freshener but at least they made an effort. My experience at this location went very smooth. Granted it was a Wednesday evening at 6pm and not a Saturday morning, but Saturday mornings should be expected to be hectic with more chance for error, that's common sense.

The gentleman that made my reservation was very rude and uninformative. As a first time customer I was not happy with his customer service skills. The gentleman that helped me sign the contract and got the truck for me was very nice and pleasant to speak with.

The people who check the trucks at return are beyond unprofessional. Gave me the wrong paperwork with someone else’s credit card info on it. Took forever to check my truck because he chose to sit on his phone and text the entire time while sitting and burning the gas out of the truck. The other guy was on FaceTime with his friend and basically made me wait until he felt like ending his call. Worst experience ever and I’ve rented before but next time I’ll choose somewhere else

Staff should be fully trained, there should be a complete checklist complete it, cab was trashed, windshield was filthy, steering wheel was very sticky.

Gas level on paperwork was higher than gauge showed. Took picture and submitted the discrepancy through the checkin link. However, I still had to return the truck with the level that matched the paperwork and did not get a credit in the cost.

There were cigarette ashes in the truck. We made a reservation amd they didnt know how to work their equipment and had to manually type our card in 3 times even though i used the same card for the reservation. They also had 2 less miles on the contract than were in the truck.

If you reqest a dolly on a one way trip staff should make sure it's in the truck. I trusted it was in the truck but once i got to my storage unit it was missing and didnt have time to go back to the rental store get it proceeded to call and a note was just put on the file and money not take off for it.

Need more worker's to get people checked out we only had 6 hours rental on the truck it took 1 hour to get checked out.i don't like that a day rental has been reduced to only 6 hours.

I rented this truck to move appliances and use appliance dolly when I got to location the cashier said we have no appliance dolly's they were stolen last week. I was the left with a normal dolly and my experience was not good. The only reason I rented it was for dolly I had hired a helper so I had no choice but to take it I won't be using U Haul services again and I will be reaching out to corporate I was dissatisfied and they need to know who represents there company.

Some of the best customer service I've received in a long time came from Calvin and the guys over at Roseville U-Haul. I wish this place sold groceries or beer or something so I had a legitimate reason to swing by all the time (not that Calvin didn't invite me to come say hi on the regular but I'd feel less creepy.) These guys are just that awesome ??

Service was great, the clerks are wonderful (and have great taste in music!), and the cargo van was amazingly modern (I'm used to driving the older-model trucks when I rent U-Hauls, so the rear camera and automatic headlamps were a nice surprise). Only thing I'd change is the entrance and parking lot: since it's located next to a highway exit ramp, it can be difficult to get in and out, and there's not much room to maneuver vehicles once you're on the property. In the future, you may want to consider expanding the parking lot to alleviate the congestion and/or create another entrance so it can be accessed via the JCPenny lot behind the location. Overall, keep up the good work, and we'll keep coming back!

Great product offering, mostly friendly customer service... my problem with this location is that it is extremely difficult to get to (only one entrance which can be difficult to get to unless coming right off of the freeway) and there is very limited space for parking. Returning equipment was also challenging.

I think the location of the entrance is in a bad spot. It's to close to the exit ramp of the expressway. Maybe a driveway off the back would be a idea.

The van i rented was acceptable, as far as decently clean goes. I just wish the back of the van would have been swept out a little more. had to give a light sweep before i could put my furniture in it. Besides that, was a great experience. They took care of me fast and had a smile while doing it

Felt bad for the guy working. He was alone, with the phone ringing off the hook, and people lined up inside and out. He had no ink in their printer, so he had to update and email receipts and paperwork. I give him a lot of credit, because even with people complaining, he stayed professional and polite.

I find it hard to check in by looking the truck over because you dont want to point out every little ding & dent but you dont want to get blamed for dent already there ether. Wish there was a better way to cover yourself & uhaul. Besides that the uhaul i rented from should change nothing. Excellent group there! No hassle. Was fast & efficient. Renting from there was the easiest part of my move & i hate moving so made it so much better.

The van only had 13000 miles on it and you would have thought 80000. Reservation was for 11:00 am but came in at 10:50 and left at 11:15 am. That was counted against my time. Only 1 person in front of me and they just talked about non Uhaul rental items.

The Entrance into the U-Haul lot is very dangerous and inconvenientwith only 1 entrance. Its dangerous because you are trying to merge over into the far rt. Lane where oncoming traffic is exiting off of the freeway at a fast pace and not allowing you to merge over to enter into the lot entrance. The area is excellent but the location isn't safe or convenient to enter. You all need to have a rear entrance.
