Make sure that your trucks are in running shape. The brake booster as well as the power steering was going out. The passenger side mirror wouldn't move at all and couldn't see anything out of it. Lastly don't say that there is a quarter of a tank of gas in it when its almost on empty. And then charge an arm and a leg because i didn't top it offFRANK B.

I am a beginner on my cell phone apps and avoid any ordering or business use. I reserved the van online, checked it out in store and by the time i was to the door, the texts with my uhaul links were to my cell phone. it was easy to use. we were also sent the after hours return link , in case we were back after the store closed. The Return process (after hours) still hasn't sent me a receipt so hoping it was done properly. Had a message saying I should receive that shortly but perhaps it just has to be reviewed? Showed up to pick up my truck rental and the level of unprofessionalism showed by the front line crew in this store was unprecedented. There were two hangerby's, separate from the front desk clerk, who couldn't stop cursing while arguing about fried chicken, a conversation the guy checking the truck out couldn't resist contributing to as I stood in front of him. Then there was the reluctant yard guy who didn't care to go and look for my truck on the lot. When he finally did get going, he took the wrong keys and was gone for 15 minutes before realizing that then came back in, while I waited outside, for another 10 minutes before lackadaisically walking out with the right keys to ask me if I want him to pull the truck out. At this point, I was so mad, I just walked with him to the truck. Took the keys and since I was already running late, I didn't check the state of the truck nor the mileage it had on when I left. I returned the truck just before closing. Fast forward to the next day, I had been charged for driving a total of 32 miles from Brookpark to Brecksville round trip. Any gps consulted would put that trip between 22-26 miles. That was my experience with this store. Never again!OLUYEMI A.

my truck was due on 1/5/22. I called this location that morning and spoke to a female. I was pretty sick so asked if I could drop it off the following day just out of precaution. she said yes not a problem at all. never mentioned there bring an additional charge for extra day!! she should have mentioned this and I would have found a way to get the truck returned on that day!! when I dropped truck off on 1/6, the same lady was there that I had spoken to. she didn't even apologize for not mentioning an extra charge, didn't seem to care. Pickup was a disaster. While going through the process my equipment was swapped in the system by an employee at the location and I was told to just ok everything for the vehicle I was not picking up and just take the correct one. I could not see the change until I checked out. When I was trying to drop off, 2 employees started working on the vehicle before I even took the keys out of the ignition.Timothy S.

Desk attendant told me the trailer I reserved wasn't available. I found the trailer in the parking lot and had to inform the desk attendant. Ultimately the desk attendant was not aware enough to realize that the trailer was not available because it was reserved to us. It was actually insulting when she tries to pawn off a much smaller single axle trailer which wouldn't work for the job. Lastly the wiring on the trailer was sketchy. Halfway through the trip the wiring started grounding out and blew fuses in my truck.Justin R.

Made a reservation for a 10x15 unit. Upon arriving with my stuff they didnt have one and gave me 2 units instead. They gave me locks that i could not unlock due to the unit doors being uneven. I made an appt to have them cut the lock off when i showed up the day of the appt i was told they no longer cut locks off. I was given no notification and drove an hour to be there. I had to pay a locksmith 120.00. I hired movers to move me on dec 26. After they moved everything into my apt and i went in i found that my stuff was infested with cock roaches from storage. I called and was told a manager would call me but they never did. This place is horrible. They do not care about customer service and should be closed down. I informed them that a homeless man was living in a unit and had lock picking tools and they did nothing.KIMBERLY N.

I had movers empty my units dec 26 2021 and when they unloaded it into my apt all my stuff was infested with roaches. I called and was told the manager would call me. They never did. I informed them a honeless man was living in a unit and had lock picking equipment. Nothing was done. This place is a joke. Horrible. They should pay for the extermination of my apt. Please address the SIGNIFICANT safety hazard associated with the protruding trailer hitch at the back of many of your trucks. It is a danger that could easily break a leg if not noticed when loading/unloading truck. A simple fix would be to provide a padded sleeve to cover the hitch when while loading/unloading.RICHARD W.

There are two access points to/from Brookpark Road, which during the busy times of day & evening can be difficult as exiting the U-Haul parking area can only be done from the eastern access point (nearest the busy traffic intersection). The western access point is marked as one-way -- for vehicle return, meaning no exit to Brookpark Road at this western access point.Colin S.

We went to pick out 10 foot box truck up with our movers and we're toms at 7 pm they have nothing for us except a tiny van at another location. We had no choice but have not been refunded for the 2 extra days and double miles that my card was charged and after checking statement was charged $$158 AND $293! WE HAD PRE PAID $45 Bc that's how short of distance we needed and our unit was located at the royalton location where we had rented the TRUCK FROM. ended having to drive to Brook park for the tiny van.the few young employees had no idea out purser was cpnviemu cancelled when we were complaining in the Brook park office And was promised they would make the difference up money wise. Since we only had help for that time a few hours which turned into a mess. We called to tell him we'd need it longer AMD since ORIGINALLY OUT BOX TRUCK WAS FROM WJERE PUT STORAGE UNIT IS IN NORTH ROYALTON THAT THE VAN CAN BE LEFT THERE BC THAT WAS OUR ORDER. THERE IS NO way to charge us over &400!! Which was only a &45 dollar charge PWRIOD. and Was never told $30 added off we didn't re fill gas. Well we are unemployed still Bc covid and are not made of money and with your companies mistakes AMD lack of communication maxed out only credit card to get our family by until work comes our way. I just rented last week the real truck 10 f AMD had no issues and cost $56! We were told we'd be even charged the lower rate and mile rate. I had a chat online with the transcript emailed to me October 1 and 4 Bc we knew we were being screwed and no one would take the responsibility at your company. It is diff if a call came day ahead saying oh sorry we don't know why it letters u book that. We have nothing for u. Also, I picked my other trucks and left at the location where my storage unit is u haul self store it. Our call was disconnected today after on hold for 40 minutes and no one called back. We are not going to stop until these illegal FALSE CHARGES AND MIS INFORMATION FROM TOUR EMPLOYEES have put my family in a horrible financial burden and to have to jump THEEW all rehear hoops to get our money which was NOT AUTHORIZED TO EVER TAKE THAT MIXH FROM US THIS STARTED AND ENDED WITH MIS INFORMATION FROM EMPLOYEES WHO WERE YOU GER AMD FRANKLY WERE JOKING AROUND THE WHOLE TIME WHEN THERE WAS NO TRUXK FOR US. BUT DID CONFIRM WE ARE NO WAY RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT AMD IF ANYTJKNG, the $44 pre pay may have been refunded Bc of the horrible mistakes by some one who works there AMD had access to the online orders Bc as I was talking to the kid at Brook park, the screen blinked AMD said â€œ wow your order was just wiped out of the systemâ€ yes Bc someone screwed us. I am responsible for the original miles AMD the rate of the $19.99 for two days. AMD they were cutting our mileage Bc we had to literally make 4 trips I moved out of both of our u haul storage units recently because of this not resolved. I will be waiting to hear from someone in upper management or corporate and the confirmation number of the $300 some odd dollar refund to our credit card I basically felt today I was being called a liar Bc I didn't know the kids name who told me all this at the Brook park u haul. Uhaul has always accommodated my every need. There is a representative named Keyonna , this lady went above and beyond to make my transition into the storage unit, quick fast and easy. I am so very angry with my experience with Uhaul as it pertains to the storage. When I first got to the location on Sunday I was turned away even though I had a reservation for a storage unit. I did appreciate Candy she was helpful on Monday but I most certainly didn't appreciate being ignored by the manager either. wellI didn't elect to have auto pay, but when I got my contract it said I was enrolled. I didn't give permission for that. Another thing I didn't like was the size is over-estimated as for square footage and apt or home comparison with two-three bedroom sizes etc. I also didn't get the free month everyone got that the site was advertising for. First I reserved my unit online and I saw a coupon for a free month so I applied it and it told me it was applied and I didn't have to pay till July 22 but when I got there I had to pay and while paying when I didn't think I had to I asked about a lock being in there or if I had to provide it they said it was in the unit when in fact it was not so I called up to the desk and they told me I had to come grab it from them I didn't have to pay for it but all the employees that were there saw that I was in a immobilizing boot and everyone was worried about going in the back and they all wanted to go. I would like for the sliding door be open outside office hours, because the side door that remains open till 10 PM is very small and it's tough to bring things in through there.
