I rented this unit 10 years ago and never visited until 2/21/21. I did not have an access card. I was not able to retrieve a code online, I was not able to reach anyone for help. I called Customer Service and they had no record of a contract under my name. I was able to finally get in by following another customer in. I emptied the storage and, luckily, was able to get out. I returned on 2/22/21 for another attempt to get in and sweep out the storage. Again, was not able to get anyone on the phone to help. As a 26 year system member of U-Haul, I can only hope that our customers are not experiencing what I experienced. Thank you, Lorraine Morrow U-Haul Tech Center ext 545611
They wouldn't fix the door that had come off track , and the manager was pretty aloof about it
Never had a problem! They were always helpful if I needed a few extra days to pay my bill too!!!
Nothing special no one around so didn't have to worry about moving stuff with a mask on. So that was a plus. At this site they have tons of cameras which I liked, just hope they really work. Other than that its a good storage place.
As closing the storage unit the door came off the rail. I told them and they said they'd fix it the next day

We have had the storage for a week and can’t gain access to the facility. Every time we call U-Haul for help, nobody can find our account but yet they sure found our bank account to take the $112. I will never use U-Haul storage ever again! I want a refund but of course, customer service can’t get ahold of anyone.

I HAD PROBLEMS FROM THE BEGINNING...1st it was my truck the cab was dirty. Then came the trailer. The straps that held down my car came off on one side and the other was loose! Luckily for me I noticed in time.Or my car would of been going down the fwy. By its self.then cam the storage...was not on record even though I had reserved it weeks in advance and had the reservation number.Then to find out the office was at a different location then the actual storage site. After checking in the unit was too small. Then had to call 1800 to find another place .went there and after checking in foundnout it was upstairs ...not good I have to many heavy items to be going up n down.then went to the 3rd and they didn't want to rent the space out due to it was the the last one...not until I was on the phone the lady had a change of mind and attitude.
All was good and clean and friendly and not too expensive. I’d would have given 5 stars if the place were open past 10pm.
Great experience with the storage facility. Still have not received my reimbursement for this last month of 60$ so I hope to see that soon to keep this positive post.
The first couple there were AMAZING. The Manager at closest site is EXTREMELY RUDE. He has lied to me on an unlock & took extra days just to "throw his weight around". Nasty & condescending. No thank you.
The whole process was faulty slow and inconvenient. I live right down the block from a uhaul yet I had to pick my truck up from a parking lot with little to no instructions as to where the keys were. The rep I spoke to was very friendly, I could tell she probably had to deal with this all the time. Also the app is extremely slow. 20 mins just to upload a picture...

The key card system was a problem. Either my card would not work or my wife's card would not.
Except for having to go to two locations for completing all paperwork and move-in {Which is understandable under the current Covid 19 scenario of options} both locations were outstanding and at the storage facility the opportunity to share items with others I feel is an awesome idea. The re-sharing of boxes has been also quite good and will bring our used boxes back for others. I did find that the measurements of the specific unit were only 10 feet wide by only 9 feet deep though which made using the unit awkward as I had two couches that were 9 and 1/2 feet long that would only fit sideways which made it hard to negotiate rather than a straight in movement. Impressed that a bait station for critters was in place.

Very pleased with everything overall .. Easy to do paperwork Easy access "24 hour is awesome" Quite and clean Well lit. Had the lock right inside door. Security gates. Very good place i give 8.5 stars. But i can only give a 5 star.. Thanks for be so convenient

There was nothing wrong with the storage facility. But my overall U-Haul experience with renting trucks was atrocious. I will never rent another U-Haul truck. In the beginning when I was trying to find a storage unit, U-Haul sent me to three different locations that never worked out… Including one location that was an empty dirt field with a chain-link fence around it. Working with U-Haul was extremely frustrating.
Pricey for the size
The staff was extremely knowledgeable. The only issue I had was that we went to the address given to move in and when we arrived we found out it was only the storage units. There was no office. There was a sign to do online check in but there was no option to use our free month. So we drive over to the location listed on the sign on the wall. About a mile or two away. The store was bright and clean and the staff friendly and helpful. They explained everything very well and even helped with boxes and supplies. They were also able to change my pickup location for my truck to their location which was more convenient than the one I was assigned. My only complaint is the room we got had nasty walls. I thought they would be metal but they were more of a drywall. It was stained and kinda yucky and there was a rodent trap inside the unit. Which is kudos to the company for keeping the occasional mouse out. It just was a bit off putting. But it's just temporary. If I was storing long term I might have chosen a location that had indoor storage. However storing outdoor items and garage items would be perfect. We even had a lock inside the unit that was included in the price. I wish we had gotten a heads up about the location being separate from the office. That was a bit of an inconvenience. So all in all it was a a very nice experience. Thank you to the guys at the main office for making it easy.

There was water in my unit from the rain from earlier that day. I was also not informed prior to arrival that I would need to go to a different location in order to register for key to unit..

When I dropped off the vehicle at 125 West Hampton Avenue. I went to the online log out and follow the steps to return the vehicle and when I was done with all the steps there is no key box to place the U-Haul truck key in. So I had to call the office number that was on the storage area door in which they had me drive another 2 miles to a nether location to drop off the U-Haul truck due to the corporate office did not know that that address but no longer in the service to drop off U-Haul trucks at.
The staff was extremely helpful, the storage units were extremely clean and the overall quality was excellent
I called customer service for assistance, but received very little help. We had to figure things out for ourselves.
I was lied to about size of unit and then because I had to get to airport for flight it forced me to get a unit twice the price because I had no time to search area for something I needed

If it wasn't for the extremely rude staff, I would have rated my experience "excellent". But I was charged $69.90 TWICE and my unit was only supposed to be $43.95 a month. Staff wouldn't help me.
Information in an email from Uhaul indicated I could check in online and get an access code to the unit. This was not accurate. Please fix your info in emails to clients
I was locked out one time and had to go to a different office But I have always been treated with the best customer service.
Everything was fine until I got broken into and the I got charged more for that month and nobody even notified me that it even happened.
There was some confusion with where I was to drop off truck and car dolly after a 1300 mile trip. Desmond calmly handled the situation and confirmed why Uhaul has the best customer service!!! Thanks
Do not appreciate the assumption of a moveout without notification especially since I paid for a full month and was really only a week into the new monthi f that. We would have continued using it.

Custiomer 15+ years, rented as many as 11 large storage units. On Friday I arrived to find that their office was closed, my access fob and keycode would not work. No notice, no access. Terrible !!

The manager Kevin was very very unprofessional and rude. I finally could not deal with him at all and had to go to another office to get my problem resolved.
The ridiculously slow office: waits of 15 minutes or more, to simply turn in my card were a huge drawback. For anything you don't need a human for, it is fine, otherwise be ready to wait.

System was problematic in that all information previously entered in order to rent the vehicle was not present. Time wasted while employees had to re-enter info.

The original location where I had to pick up my truck was terrible, when I went there, they was closed. I had to go to another location for pick up, where the rep (Terrence) was awesome, an so helpful.

I rented the truck out at 4:45 pm and went back to my apartment to pack. I got extremely sick that night and tried to call to extend the truck for another day so I could move tomorrow and hopefully I felt better then. They weren't able to extend the truck which is fine I know it's their only truck and they already had it reserved for someone else in the morning. I brought back the truck earlier than expected, completely UNUSED. I never opened the back of the truck. And then the office guy starts trying to charge me for equipment usage. I said that's not possible I never used the truck, I drove it to my apartments where it sat all night and all morning until I had to take it back. The manager comes out and starts calling me a liar and when my boyfriend came in to see what was taking so long, she starts yelling at him from behind a closed door. When he said come out and talk to me face to face not behind a closed door, she literally went ape shit on us. She started screaming at the top of her lungs I'm calling the cops I'm calling the Cops! This was THE WORST experience I've ever had through uhaul and I definitely won't be returning to that location. Obviously nobody did their job right if they're accusing us of using equipment we didn't use. They called back and said they didn't charge me for the equipment usage, so basically they found out why the zip tie was cut on the dolly and they was harassing me for no damn reason

The employees at this location seemed to want to go above and beyond customer expectations. Drop off went smoothly. No slow computer excuses. Makes a difference. Stay away from Cave Creek Rd location if possible. Unless you have an hour to kill waiting on their slow ass computer system.
What is the point in reserving the UHAUL, doing the early check in via online, and adding supplies to the order when EVERYTHING had to be done AGAIN at the location? Stupid.

I was charged $93 for using a 15' truck for less than 5 hours and putting less than 10 miles on it! And I put more gas in the truck than used because I was told I would get a credit! No credit... The pretend to and then charge another charge to your card.

I have used the 125 Hamilton Drive location only one time, I have used UHaul for all of my local and national moves. The location at 202 and Hayden Rd. was a superior experience. This facility was very clean and extremely well managed by Brad Ford. I used storage and equipment rental . Brad was training new employees and exemplified world class customer service in the most stressful situations. Great Prices, great product and superior service. Thank you for being a standard by which we should all apply ourselves.

Check the mechanical aspects. The drivers window was not in the track, and I had to hold onto it while driving, so that it did not fall out.
My truck was super clean and smelled really fresh.
TRUCK HAD NO A/C in 112 degree weather. I called ahead and asked Allie to NOT divulge my new address in front of soon-to-be ex-husband and she DID. VERY DISSATISFIED AND UPSET. JEAPORDIZED MY SECURITY & PUT ME IN A TRUCK THAT GAVE ME HEAT STROKE.
The A/C in the truck does not work. Also, I filled up according to when I picked up the truck and I still was charged a fuel fee. This is not acceptable!!!!!!

The truck was clean and seemed to run ok, but when I refueled the truck I ended up putting in 5 gallons. Your records show that I went 12.5 miles that is 2.4 mpg. Either your trucks are in serious need of maintenance, or someone is cheating. I am disappointed.

We dropped our car trailer off at the country club location and Andy was outstanding. Our Uhaul truck was dropped at the Hampton Ave. location and we used the storage there as well. Ally is awesome and we would definitely use this location again and is highly recommended. This is our 2nd time here.

Ally Roach is an excellent representative for your company. It might be helpful to some people to know how long the pick-up process, including the vehicle inspection, might take. I had enough cushion built in to my schedule that I didn't have a problem, yet in reflecting I realize I arrived at the rental location with a different expectation.
