I can't imagine what I would change about the experience for both the pick-up or drop-off. Everything was ready and the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. This location is now my go-to for moving and hauling needs.

Trucks with fuel level and mileage not matching on the contract. Got a check engine light within 100 feet of driving the first truck that was given to me. Location claims that people siphon off gas from trucks parked overnight but have not adjusted their procedures to not make it a customer facing issue. All in all - I spent > 30 minutes picking up my rental for a reservation that I had made online.

My initial pick up in Seattle was moved from Rainier Avenue location to to your Interbay location with no useful notification to me. I was Told I would receive a $50 refund for my trouble by your central dispatch/ customer service person. I haven't seen that yet. Then when I picked up my truck I discovered after loading that it had two holes in the roof necessitating covering my now wet cargo and returning/exchanging my truck the next day, again at the Interbay facility. Everything went smoothly from there on out although I do expect my $50 refund.

Vehicle had not been inspected prior to rental. Truck bed was heavily splattered with pigeon excrement due to being parked below pigeon roosting area overnight. Uhaul personnel did clean the truck bed, but this delayed the use of the truck.

The only issue was the description/specs of the truck. It's listed to have a height that due to the door is not accurate and because of that was not able to move one item as it did not fit. This really derailed my move!

When I came to pick up my truck I was informed that gas was stolen out of the truck the night before. So if I filled up the tank and provided the receipt I wouldn't be charged for the gas. So when I dropped off the truck with a full tank which was over 80$ the guy helping me said I would be getting back 33$. I was happy to hear this and was under the impression that I wouldn't be charged and would receive 33$ back to my account. Instead I was charged 66$ and was out the money I spent on the gas. I tried calling to speak with someone 2 different times but was put on hold and then said someone would get back to me. I will never use this uhaul again and not be recommending it to anyone as well. Very disappointing experience overall.

A Uhaul repreentative needs to be with the renter during inspection, especially if uhaul is putting all of the burden on the renter to determine if there is existing damage. Use the photo of the specific vehicle, updated after every return, for damage inspection. This one thing caused a 15-20 minute delay leaving and utilizing the vehicle for which it is being rented, using up valuable rented time. The guy installin trailer hitches should worry about that and not tryng to direct traffic and parking for people picking up and returing equipment. He caused more confusion, provided unnecessary comments and came off as a jerk.

The rental truck and auto transport trailer combo worked out really nicely and helped me get the job done. If you want to step up the next level of service, If a customer has a reservation for a truck or van and any type of trailer package, have it already hooked up and ready to drive off the lot. If it's reserved in advance there should be time to make this happen. These comments are only suggestions to make it even easier, the transaction and pickup went really well and Malik and Kaitlyn were so nice to work with.. Great work! I recommend!

charges can be sneaky and tricky. verify that everything the agent tells you is written in the contract. ask for every potential extra charge or you will pay 100% more than you expected.

My only frustration is that I selected the Maple Valley, WA location for pickup and was given less than 24 hours notice that my location was moved 40 miles away. I requested my trailer 2 weeks in advance so I don't understand why I was allowed to think I could pick up where I made the reservation if there was never any effort by Uhaul to get my equipment there. You need to give more notice that you can't accommodate the pick up location.

Despite the reservation guarantee, when I arrived to pick up my reserved truck, it was not available. I had to wait 10-15 minutes, then the U Haul employee finally decided to assign me a different truck. I had also purchased moving supplies online to pick up at this location, but when I arrived most of the items were out of stock. Please improve your inventory control for online orders and reservation system. Other than that, the rest of the experience was good.

To Whom it may concern, Just used Uhaul small box truck, I've used trucks from the interbay location a lot over the years, First off the folks working there were pleasant but here's the deal, I went less than 4 miles round trip and just got charged 26.00 for gas. I have a photo of the starting gas gauge which wasn't accurate as declared by the check in person but close enough.. Also at mile 2 the engine light came on, which I mentioned upon turn in. Hopefully there will be a correction on my billing. A quick check of the ending odometer should collaborate my claim. Thank you for you time on this matter The rental is under my name, Jeff Steichen

There was a man who was clearly not in his right mind, harassing me in the lobby, and not wearing a mask. I think the checker should have noticed and responded appropriately to this unsafe situation. No complaints about the truck or the service though.

I called this location to ask for a truck. They decided I was asking for a pick up truck when I was really asking for a small box truck. After calling two locations, I spoke with Larry at the call center who was AWESOME. He confirmed the location actually did have the small truck I was asking for. When I called the store again, they said they didn't have them but when I arrived, they corrected me that they actually call the small box truck, vans. Definitely a branding issue as me, the consumer, does not know such verbiage. The store associate should have explained this knowing the descriptors I gave. I tried to do the online check in and it wouldn't take my ID noting the expiration date was incorrect but it wasn't so I had to deal with the people inside. The manager at the store was extremely rude when I declined insurance coverage and became loud and obnoxious as I assured her I had the resources to cover the truck should anything happen to it. When I returned the truck, the guy flagging me in made me drive the truck uncomfortably close to the truck in front of me and when I was clearly nervous he became rude screaming to me inside the truck that I obliviously had enough room. Please note that I am 5'3" and normally drive a Toyota. It would have been best in this case for him to let me out of the truck and pull it forward himself as I was obviously nervous about getting so close. Uhaul is necessary only for a move and I haven't used one in 20 years. I think I'll find another option next time.

This location was clearly busy the weekend I made my reservation. And I took that into consideration. The morning I was due to pick up the truck I reserved, Uhaul called me to say the truck was vandalized (had window smashed) and they were doing their best to find me another. The lady told me they would give me a $50 discount should they not be able to fulfill the reservation. I waited 3 hours for someone to call me back with an update and eventually called them to find out they moved my reservation to the next day and I wondered why no one let me in on the news. When I called back to ask about the discount I was told they wouldn't be able to give me that discount because they "only guarantee the truck. not the day or the time" when making a reservation. I told her that makes no sense but we would talk about that in person. She told me they would apply a discount to the truck price and the mileage however. When I got to the location to get my truck, I waited in line for half an hour (eating up my reservation time) before someone mentioned people with a reservation didn't need to wait in line, this is after I asked. There was a LONG line. I never received the dolly I reserved but they made sure to charge me for one. At the end of my trip I had to stop and talk to someone about not receiving either of the discounts that was mentioned to me and was told there was no manager there so I would have to wait for her to call me back. I never received a call but I did receive an email that I had been issued a $50 refund. So thanks for that.

Fix the credit card terminals and enable Apple Pay at this location. Added unnecessary difficulty to the employees jobs to just accept payment. Other than that, every employee I interacted with was great and super fun! Equipment was clean too.

I initially came in aliens 2pm. Got charged for 100 dollars as a deposit. Came back to pick the truck up at 6. People couldn't find me in the system. So they had to refund me the 100 and charge me another 100. I never received 100 back though and now I've been charged 200 dollars total for a 50 dollar service. Going to be a worse review if I don't receive that within a week.

It took 39 minutes to get the first truck and when that didn't start it took another 45 minutes to get a second truck even though there were 12 other identical trucks on the lot. The staff was friendly.

Staff was helpful and gracious, but there was a major issue with the reservation/payment system that had me waiting over 15 mins for the staff to resolve -- what was irksome was the charge was already apparent on my bank account, but apparently wasn't showing up on the store's side. But I had to be burdened with the wait (on a busy. moving day while getting charged for time) while it was resolved.

I selected the no-contact/mobile device check-in option and it turns out that is not an option at this location. I had to go inside and by trying to check in via the mobile device it caused a little bit of confusion. It was quickly resolved, but it was weird that I was encouraged to use the mobile check-in if it is not actually available.

There was nothing wrong with the location, it was the website I had a problem with; and I wasn't the only one. The woman I dealt with on location was very friendly, professional and understanding. She really did try her best to help customers who had a major problem with the website. However, make sure to check your email because what is said online or in a text message is not always the same as what you get in your email.

Jordan hough was very kind, efficient, and knowledgeable. He explained all of the charges and options thoroughly. I could tell that he was happy and smiling even though he was wearing a mask and it was early in the morning! (I am also happy he and the whole staff were wearing masks) overall, Jordan went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, informed, and well taken care of. 10/10 deserves a raise.

Trying to rent the trailer was a nightmare. Your 800 number reserved a trailer for me at one location. When I went to pick-up the trailer the location stated they had no trailer to give me and the 800 operator should have never told me it was reserved. They ended up finding me a trailer a half an hour away, but I could not get it until the following day. Very poor service.

My experiences with UHaul over the past 3 decades has been very satisfactory. Agents in person or on the phone have been courteous and helpful, nice and enjoyable people. I was really impressed with the care and help shown me in Bremerton in 2018 after a close relative passed and I had to clear out the house and move stuff several times to Seattle. While UHaul employees are efficient and business-like, they also are kind and flexible. Thank you! R.Owen

My truck was booked when I arrived at my reservation time. It took quite a while for them to find a truck that was coming back two hours later. While they did give me a discount upon request, when I came back they gave me the keys to the wrong truck from what was on my contract. Once I got in the right truck after a long wait, the gas level listed was incorrect. Their closure time was also listed incorrectly, so I had to rush my move to get it back before closing as I did not want to have to bring it back at 7am. There is no after hours drop off or parking at this location. The staff was nice but it was very disorganized and inconvenient. For such a big company that rules the market, I expect better. Come on, Uhaul.

You probably know that this facility has been a nightmare for a number of years. I had a storage unit there for a year and a half and the few times I was there (picking up moving boxes, etc.) you had been some of the most bizarre, angry and unprofessional people working AND it was always a huge disorganized mess. Your computer system is completely inadequate for the volume of business you do at that store! The person waiting on me Saturday said he had been brought in to clean up the mess but the office and store area is still trashed and you seem to be understaffed. However, he was professional and friendly - a huge improvement. I can’t answer the questions about available hours and up until Saturday I would have rated everything beyond poor- it felt dangerous. So, some of my comments are shaded by the unprecedented experiences I had in the past.. NOTE: I hadn’t been at the site August 2019. I would say your grade would be NI - needs improvement. (but much better than the past)
