The drop off location was only self check out and we are not familiar with that process. When we chose the drop off location, we chose it because it was still open for an in person check out but that was not an option once we got there. It would have been helpful if this place that we rented from would have made sure we weren't sent to a self check out drop off.

I had to hunt around for someone to help me, despite three men being out in the lot and one inside the store, not one of them said hello, acknowledged me, not asked how they might be able to help me. When I finally cornered the young man out side, I had to prompt him for what the protocol was, he wanted me to back up the trailer to a slightly different location than where I had parked. I refused to back it up, so he tested the lights, unhitched the trailer where I parked and said I was free to go and my receipt would come via email. It was the least friendly and professional service I've had yet with Uhaul, and this was a large lot and sales store in Medford, Oregon. Rude awakening to being back in this populous of our nation...

Ordered a 10 ft truck with a ramp. No ramp when I got to my loading destination. Managed without but not happy about it.

Car transport worked well. I would improve the ramps so that it is a smooth transition from ramp to bed of trailer. I suggest an available winch for hauling disabled vehicles.

The truck stunk like weed, it was all damaged. We got charged for a day more than we rented it for, plus taxes and insurance coverage for that day. the people at the store were not friendly at all and made everyone feel like they were an inconvenience. there was a heavy set guy that work the counter that used the F word all the time and was completely unprofessional. I will never rent from this place again which is sad because it use to be our go to place for all truck rentals.

Says elevators available however, not for the Unit I rented...:( I guess 2.5 flights of stirs wasn't far enough up to have elevator access. Though I'm thankful because I went from paying almost 300/m for storage at buxbear to 90.

I picked up the uhaul from Medford was charged an extra 50$ on top of what I was already quoted then when I got in the truck they said it had half a tank it had barely a quarter then when I got to roseburg I had more gas in the tank than they gave me and I apparently went over my mileage by 11 miles when they gave me 120 to move to a place is 100 miles away not even with where I lived moved had to get gas and stuff and got charged again when I dropped the truck off honestly bullshit

I had the worst experience with this location. First the rental wasn't ready at the time I picked 7am for the 24/7 then had to come back in the afternoon because nothing was ready. I did get upgraded which I thought was nice but upon return it was a nightmare. The person returning the truck was beyond rude and trying to way over charge me. Luckily, his boss came out and gave me a credit. He was the only redeeming thing about this experience. I've done a lot of uhuals and this was the worst experience.

The gentleman that helped me was nice, however, I waited for about 35 minutes to get helped, there were only two people working the front. the other employee was complaining about the lack of staff, an administrative staff person kept telling him he should not complain in front of customers. There were probably 12 or more people in line behind me and others left because of the wait. The first truck we got had a dead battery so we had to wait for a second truck. I’m not one to generally take surveys however, I think it’s important that this comes to light. I’m hopeful some resolution can come, I believe they are only one of maybe two U-Haul locations in The, Medford, southern Oregon area. sadly, it was really unacceptable.

Made a reservation the day before. Got Email confirmation. Went in the next morning to pick it up with the confirmation # and email. They couldn't find it in the system. They started asking me all the questions that I already gave them when I made the reservation. A customer shouldn't have to repeat things over and over and over. The unorganized process blow my mind. I don't know if the problem is a lack of training or a bad computer system 🤔.

We were expecting a full fuel tank but when we rented the truck it had a 1/4 tank so we filled it to ensure enough gas for our move. When we returned it it had 3/4 of a tank and there's no compensation for the extra 1/2 tank we returned it with. It should be policy for compensation. The overall experience was good, just feel we got taken on the gas situation.

The location is great and the employees are also fantastic. One complaint I had has nothing to do with the location or the people, but when I booked the pick up truck online it was 89 cents a mile. When I got to the location on Saturday morning, I was told it was $1.09 per mile on weekends. If that was on the site it should have been much bigger - or perhaps the rate change should have auto populated when I put my pick up date for Saturday. I know, its not that much money difference in our case, as we only went under 60 miles, but still. You can do better than what feels like a bait and switch tactic.

Service was slow. Attendant did not have tools on hand to help change hitch ball. Rental/reservation was unclear about hitch ball size (I could have switched it at home). Attendant let me drive away with trailer door open (he was right there checking the lights, "yup, good to go!")... short drive, dry roads, no big bumps to damage the door, no harm done. Reservation process required a cell phone... we don't really have a cell phone (in the old days the texts ya'll sent would have cost us $0.25/ea)... check-in process required a 2nd phone line (for a same day/local rental?).

The manager of this location deserves a raise he went above and beyond. We asked to see the unit he took us to show it first wasn’t big enough. I found a unit that wasn’t posted yet he looked at it, saw it was cleaned and made it available so that we could have it 1000/10 would and will refer them to friends family and my customers at work

The facility is packed with vehicles and equipment everywhere. The staff has to park thier cars back by the storage units and it makes it hatred to back out of there. The United were built so that one could drive around the building, but now there is equipment stored on one side right in the drive so that we can't leave without having to back up. The whole place is too small for the amount of equipment stored there. It's quite cramped.

The area and means of storage are good, but the hours to access were not convenient. M-S 7-7 S 9-5. Alarm was set after above hours so you couldn't enter.

For those who have storage upstairs it would be nice to have an easier way to move stuff up and down stairs. An elevator or something like a dolly to be able to move stuff upstairs would be helpful. The steepness of the stairs and the fact they are the same color as the floor makes it disorienting to try to walk down them with boxes in your hands and not worry you are going to miss a step and fall down them.

Split level storage unit sounds like there is 2 levels in actual storage unit. Not that the building is split level. Kinda deceiving to people who don’t know storage vocabulary.

I am almost 70 yrs. old & my storage was up 2 flights of stairs. You have no accommodations for handicapped people except for parking! I Unloaded a 20ft. Uhaul with a fridge, etc. up stairs!

Staff were, without exception, always friendly and put effort into making transactions simple and quick. My storage room #7 was not optimal due to a concrete beam coming down from above about halfway into the room. I was disappointed to have to close my storage and would have stayed customer longer but my bill kept being increased regularly with no added benefit in kind, so became unaffordable.

I reserved a truck for 10-6-22, got confirmation on my phone. When I arrived they couldn’t find the reservation. Made me start all over and made the whole process take forever. But us badly behind schedule and still had over 3 hr drive to get back. The online quote was much lower than what I was charged in person. I have done thousands of dollars in business with uhaul over the last 1 1/2 years and still have two units with you. Couldn’t be anymore unhappy with uhaul right now.

The only complaint I have is about the truck rental .... I ended up having to use it for a few extra days , and I did not have my phone service working at the time , but I could use the Uhaul app through wifi , but for some reason my truck rental was not showing up on my account otherwise I would have extended the rental on there. Although it probably wouldn't have helped my balance at all ... ended up paying like 170 for 3 days plus mileage , which I have no idea how I traveled 67 miles in medford alone ? Lol anyways it's all good thank you guys again ... you guys are very good at rouge Valley uhaul

I rented another unit and it took the employee 4 tries to properly submit new entry for unit. She was cussing about the computer system not letting her and another unit. She finally after we waited almost an hour got the unit and we started loading our things in it. When it came time to lock it up the lock holes were not even so I couldn't put our lock on it. I explained this to lady and she said let me go try after waiting again she came back and said ok I'm gonna have to call maintenance to fix this. In the meantime she put a small lock of her own on our new unit and didn't give us a key. We returned on Sunday the next day and the doors were being painted and we were told we'd have to come back in a few hours. No access to our stuff. On Monday I returned to the small lock on our unit still on and not even locked just hanging there unlocked. Maintenance has still not fixed the lock. She still has her lock on our storeage unlocked so basically I paid nearly 100 to put our belt ngings in a unit we cannot lock we were not able to access it on Sunday when we needed to get clothes for my daughter for school. So I'd really love my money back. The employee should have offered us a unit that was capable of shutting and locking. Also if painting doors that should be done on hours that are closed to business. This is absurd and terrible business if you ask me.

The facility needs upkeep - no fault of staff! It seemed like they did not have adequate resources and were located in a crime area of Medford, oregon. And the cameras are not effective. That said, I was satisfied with with our experience. The staff was awesome, and nothing was stolen!

I am shocked that the storage facility does not have a freight elevator for the second floors. Fortunately, my load was light, but I am sure others are not as lucky. In addition, the time the storage buildings close is too early and not too practical for people who work during the day.

This was the most horrible experience. After driving 5+ hours and an email that said that the storage facility was open 5-10pm we were told that they don't allow people to load in after 5. We had literally no other place to put our stuff other than a small hotel room. We had a 5x5x5 unit and it's not like it would've taken us long to fill it. On top of that the facility was disgusting as well as the guys who were working. It was grossly irresponsible to use an excuse of we just haven't update our information on our email as justification for not allowing people but 10 minutes to load their unit. It was absurd, and we will NEVER use U-Haul storage EVER again.

Clean is the only thing going for this place. Almost all of the staff has been helpful and my card has never worked to access my unit. The managers were never there or available to help. And then the best part is I just got a notice they were raising the prices. This is the worst storage facility I’ve ever used and I’ve had really good experiences with uhaul in the past. Poorly managed storage facility, slow service, pay twice the price for half the space as anywhere else, very few total parking spaces in the lot for customers making storage here inconvenient and slow, be prepared to haul your goods across the property anytime you have to access your unit. It works in a pinch but get on the waitlist elsewhere while you suffer through the service here.

Gary was really helpful. It had taken me a couple of weeks to find a storage facility with an available storage unit. When I finally had, I booked it right away even though I was unable to get there for a few days. Upon arrival, my access was denied. Gary was very nice and assisted me with getting the unit and providing me with a key card. Very happy with the facility

I purchased a lock from uhaul when I rented my storage they kept locking my unit telling me the lock they sold me was not acceptable. I complained about never being able to access my unit because of faulty key cards and locks on my unit and was met with attitude and poor customer service. They told me they wouldnt lose business ot having me because they are always full anyway terrible employees the only good employee there was having his 1st day at work that says alot. Ive rented from uhaul in the past and have never had a bad experience. It wasn't necessarily the employees fault but honestly I would never go back to a facility where you had to wait for an hour every time to open your storage unit. Apparently the it guy was on leave and the company wouldn't let them hire someone else, so my code to access my storage unit never got programmed into the system. I wasted so many hours of my life trying to get into that stupid storage unit because there was never more than one person. at the front desk and most of them didn't understand why I couldn't just use my code and I got forgotten about so many times. I understand its covid but its the higher ups fault for not fixing this and it was a pain. Good day sirs.....

My two year experience with Rogue Valley UHaul was beyond great until the Almeda Fire fallout and the ensuing madness forced us to move out of the area. I found it taxing to deal with all I was dealing with, and then to have UHaul not quickly enough recognize I had extenuating circumstances and aid in ending my contract. It was too much with the no response and continued charging. I do appreciate though that everything has been resolved and thank all who did help to do so. I will recommend UHaul Rogue Valley to others.

The reason is I have tried numerous times to get my July payment back since I closed my account on June 24th. The answer ing service assured me someone would call me right away and it still hasn't happened to resolve this. My number is 541-497-4266..

The only thing I had an issue with was getting parking in front of storage units, as a disabled veteran I think parking across the parking lot to get a few things out was a hassle/difficult. You should have one or two spots there specific for loading and unloading storage units infront of units. But all your U-Haul are taking all the parking. OR look into ADA accommodating people with disabilities

Parking was impossible. The reservation had to be redone on 3 separate occasions. Twice in one day within a few hours. The first reservation could not be found. It took almost 40 minutes to check in, I was charged first months rent when it was supposed to be free. The associated could not reverse the charges. We were late for moving help coming at 2pm even though we showed up 45 minutes early. There was a dead mouse in one of the units.

Not once were we able to access our storage ourselves. We were told that it due to a 'computer glitch'. This meant we had to wait in line everytime we needed access and wait for someone to open it.

Return of rental equipment went smoothly. But I had booked a storage unit over the phone, and when I arrived the unit was neither the size that I booked nor as accessible as I was told to expect.

It was overall a nice experience. However the machine that gave access for the doors was broken and wouldn't take the access cards. As well as the Uhal stafe never game me a code or anything.

In April of this year, we were given a free month of storage so we used that opportunity to store merchandise for 2 weeks. 5 phone calls and 5 hours later they are still billing us even when closed it

A very good experience with the U-Haul of Rogue Valley. The staff was very nice, and helpful. This was my second time using them as well.
