We originally wanted to pick up our truck at the Jean-Talon location which was very convenient for us with a 4 min drive, but the day before our pick up we we're ask to pick up the truck at the Crémazie location which was an additional 25 mins of traffic to get to. Once at the Crémazie location, they didn't have the dolley's we had requested 3 weeks in advance, we then had to go back to the Jean-Talon location to rent a dolley seperately and even then they only allowed for in town rental and we had to bring the dolley back before the end of our move. When we showed up to locations in person 3 out of the 4 times nobody was at the counter for well over 10 mins.
AnneCarolyne B.I use an older phone to keep my online presence to a minimum, at this location the desk clerk was able to accommodate me, but maybe the use of an on-site device to record information, and condition of the rental vehicle which can then be shared with the customer and company. Over all this location gave me a positive experience with helpful and friendly staff. Better signage to entrance and service desk is needed.

Then when I went to get the truck, they said it's not yet arrived and I have to wait (didn't even say how much time I had to wait) for which I had to pay for the helper I hired. After more than an hour wait time I get the truck and was charged $20 more for fuel charges. Tried calling customer support, but it keeps on waiting. Had a really bad experience.
Aravind Mohan Ra S.Left turn signal was broken and not fixed it prior to use. I used an extended left arm out toe car window to indicate a left hand turn. All safety devices should be checked and be in proper working order prior to customer use. Staff was very friendly at this location but I was worried driving such a large vehicle without a functional left turn signal

Eric B.Honestly it was a horrible experience. We showed up at 9:45 am for a 10 am reservation, and waited in line until 10:30 to get our keys. When we go to find the vehicle we realized they have us a smaller one than what we had ordered (van vs 10ft truck), and when I went back in to show them my original order and ask for the correct vehicle I was told it wasn't their problem, they had other people waiting to get their reservations and I would call customer service. So we were late to get the keys, got the wrong vehicle, had to make two trips (twice as much time and money) and the vehicle we received was dirty and had food crumbs all over the driver's area. This is the first time I write a negative review, it was really that bad.

DOCTEUR SALIMA I H.Poor explanation of charges, plus overcharging by location. Tried to charge for locker from which I had moved out. Wouldn't allow me to put in more fuel once I had returned to location. Instead, wanted to charge me for filling up plus service fee for the filling. Snow and ice was not cleared from the vicinity, making it near impossible to back truck up slope to loading bay. Customer service was good,though, refunding all my claims for excess charges. If the location gets more professional, I may try them again.

I would suggest offering better instructions to the employees so that they know what to do in edge cases (i e., cases where the system does not behave as expected and they have to find turnarounds).

I couldn't put pictures during the initial inspection of the vehicle because it was cold and my phone died after a while of taking pics for the outside of the truck. It wasn't too much of an issue for me but I think that could be improved. I took additional pictures once my phone was able to restart, if needed.

Julien B.1) There is not much space available in this location for trucks to enter or exit, there are cars parked on either side, the enterance is so small that if another vehicle comes from the other side at the same time, then one vehicle has to back up. 2) The truck that was given to me was not fully inspected, it had issues as the battery was weak and that delayed the start of the trip from my home. I had to wait for more than 3 hours to get the Roadside Assistance to come and boost the truck. The battrey even died on me when I had just parked the truck at the return location and steped out to see if I am parked correctly.
kapil D.Clean your trucks! Do not give us a truck full of muddy water and expect us to bring in a pristine condition. Or at least provide protective blanquettes for free. Remove snow from your parking lot. It is impossible to par the trucks safely with almost a feet of snow.

I had real difficulty driving the truck and on normal road where the snow is regularly cleared, the tires weren't gripping on the road surface.

We spent more time just trying to get in/park/allow other cars going the opposite direction through in the tiny lot than the actual time inside. Reducing the number of vehicles in the lot or expanding further back might be the best course of action because while everything inside was great including the staff, the parking situation made it a less than stellar experience.

I was supposed to get a month for free but the system didn't seem set up to properly to do that, and I had to contact U-Haul to make sure I would get my free month (they did honor it though). I also wanted to end my contract a week earlier but their system was down and I didn't go in during the week because of lockdown restrictions and my own sleeping habits. I think this location may need to upgrade their systems but overall, the experience was very good.

Au cours des années, nous soulignons la courtoisie du personnel à notre égard, l'excellent travail de Mme Line Vaillant pour répondre à nos interrogations et ses suggestions pour régler le PEU de problèmes survenus au cours de ces 11 années. Le seul commentaire moins positif (et pour lequel il y a peu ou pas de solution) est le peu d'espace de stationnement pour les locataires aux heures d'achalandage. Même dans ces situations, le personnel a fait son possible pour nous aider, quitte à déplacer des camions UH. C'est sans hésitation que nous avons recommandé UH Jean-Talon O à nos amis.

I finally closed my locker of 25 years as I am moving to Ontario, and I went to Line and opened a small locker for the overflow while moving. I cancelled my contract 3 days after my reservation due to the filthiness of the place. Such a waist of money. The guy at the front desk didn't seem to care at all and he told me there's nothing he could do for me. I called the manager the next day, was told I would get a cal back. I'm still waiting. I'm so dissapointed by the service.
