The trucks are kept offsite and it was dirty inside and the ramp was covered in gravel when we pulled it out. The people are friendly and helpful, just be aware it may be dusty inside truck.Pam S.

This was a nightmare! I was overcharged (mileage) - charged for things w/o even asking me of I wanted them (Safe Move) - lied to by customer service that they were reversing the charges - trucks are not even kept on site, but instead we were led down a gravel road out in the country to a private house to get it. The customer service rep told me that this isn't even allowed. Never again with this location.Tammy S.

I was frustrated with my Uhaul order not being ready. I had my order sent 3 weeks in advance. Vehicle was not ready and we had to waste an hour doing paperwork. The other frustrating part is, I ordered 2 dozen moving pads and dolley, which I had to drive to another store 40 miles from pickup site.Christopher V.

Rental agent did not know how to run program he called someone for help and they gave him a different number to call. While calling that number his personal cell phone rang, he answered that call and walked away from the counter. After about 10min he finally came back and finished the call with the person that was trying to help him with my reservation. The person on the phone finally had to complete the transaction for him and I was finally able to get on my way. There was another person working be she did not seem to know any more about the system then the guy helping me. Upon return the woman was there to check me in and she fumbled around for awhile finally said she thought I was done and told me to make sure I didn't get double charged the following day. I don't know if this is a training issue or what but very dissatisfied.Amy S.

I wanted to reserve a truck in Spirit Lake Iowa and instead had to go to Lakefield MN to get it, which cost over an hour of time that put everything behind schedule. I was quoted around $270.00 to $300.00 for the rental and the total ended up being $440.00. I will never use Uhaul again. not a good experience, inconvenient, added alot of extra time, and way too much money.Rachel T.

It would be nice if there was a specific location marked for the truck to be parked. There was construction in the area, so it was probably messier than usual. Not sure if the people who run the location have much control over that. It is the closest place for us to return a rental truck, so we would use it again if needed. We returned the truck on a Saturday when the office was closed.karen H.

I was given a key and sent a couple blocks away to pick up the truck on my own, which was not a 20' truck. My paperwork said that there was a 1/4 tank of gas. There was only an 1/8. I went back to the pickup location to let them know. He changed the gas by marking and initialing the mistake. Uhaul sent me an email saying that I was picking up a 20' truck. You left me a 15' truck. I requested a 17' truck. Therefore, I could not bring all that I needed to bring. I was offered a trailer to pull behind. That was not an option for me and YOUR mistake. I will be renting a truck in the spring and fall, making this trip twice a year. I would not use uhaul again. I was sent $50 for the different size truck. Not enough to cover what I couldn't bring back with me. The first trip this spring went well, other then needed more miles, as I did this trip.BARBI B.

The truck ran good, heat worked. Only complaint would be it was a bit dirty. I found some trash including a wrapper and an empty coffee bottle in the cab and I cleaned that up to prevent a service charge to me. The truck needs it's wipers replaced. I'm just glad it wasn't snowing or raining because those wipers would have been an issuePATRICK A.

Why can't the uhaul Internet reservation system be accurare in what the inventory is at locations? I asked for a 4x8 trailer in worthington and had to go 30+ miles out of the way to get the trailer and return 30+ miles to load. The times available also did not match for the reservation. This is poor customer service! I got a call on my voice mail from the worthington office to tell me they didn't have the trailer I reserved, hours after I had been there to get the trailer. Truck smelled like cig smoke and BO. Be more accurate on the fuel levels, make it exactly. I was charged for fuel that I shouldn't have.KIRI P.
Equipment was not ready when I came to pick it up. I spoke to this location the day before and was told it would be ready anytime after 9am. I arrived at approx 10:10am and had to wait over 40 min before it was ready. The reason given to me for the delay was that they had other things to do (i.e. unload a semi truck.) I responded that I too had other things to do, but this did not seem to affect her in any way. I and VERY upset at how I was treated by this clerk. The women checking me in did not know how to operate the computer. Another clerk had to assist her to complete the task. A young man did take the time to hookup and inspect the trailer to my truck while I was STILL WAITING for the women to finish the computer work, this was very helpful and I am thankful to him for doing so.PETER E.
I gave them a recipt for over $6 for a quart of oil I put in the truck and I see I was only credited for $4 dollars and the truck was clean when we turned it in and I see a $20 for cleaning the truck.CHARLES H.
I'm upset that I would need to drive 45 miles round trip from Worthington MN to Lakefield MN to pick up a trailer when I set up the rental for pick up in Worthington. I understand I could have taken a larger trailer from Worthington at no extra cost, but that would have been overkill for size and towing. The Worthington location ONLY had a much larger size availble. Why don't they stock a range of sizes? Also, the woman who contacted me about this was going to text me the address of the facility in Lakefield, but never did.RANDY W.

i wanted a uhaul in Jackson and they made me drive 14 miles farer then i had to pay for the extra miles, they truck was in the mud and i got my car stuck in the mud trying to get it out.KRISTI B.
