The employee at this location did not leave the key for me in the Dropbox as planned. He even showed up the night I was there to pick it up and informed me I needed a code knowing he did not leave the key for me. I called U-Haul customer service and they assisted me. Because of this I had to wait until the next day to get my U-Haul which conflicted with my work schedule. He also gave me a drop off location that no longer worked with U-Haul so I was late dropping off the truck with a 40 fee because I did not get the new drop off location until the morning of. I will not recommend or ever use this location again.

The rear door of the truck was in the up position when I picked it up so there was already leaves debri. Also, I left the truck unattended while getting fuel, the automatic shutoff came up to $20, I filled up at about the 20 mile mark. I for one sure hope the truck gets more than 2.5 miles per gallon.

I picked up the U-Haul truck at a car repair shop. The owner, or the person I dealt with was very rude as well as disrespectful. He doesn't answer the phone, Therefore; I had to drive there several times.

The truck had coffee & stuff spilled everywhere when I opened the door on their lot. I was in a rush to get moved so I dealt with it. I was told to have the truck back BY Monday & it was back at approx 4PM Sunday....I just got my receipt & they charged me multiple days for the truck & both dollies eating up my whole $100 deposit I had to pay because their machine was too slow to take my credit card. I will be calling & filing a complaint if I am not refunded my money!!

Problem was not about the location - problem is with your company's overall lack of communication. I called U-Haul on Friday to make arrangement to get hitch installed and they made appointment for me on Saturday in Concord, NC. Wife and I rove 2 cars from Charlotte to Concord to leave the car to get the hitch. Person at desk told us they do not do hitches on Saturday and that U-Haul frequently send people there to get that done on Saturday. Then after I eventually made reservation for the trailer rental, at the last minute I was told I had to go to a different location. Got the trailer and was given contract showing location of return. Went to return trailer and was somewhat rudely told that they did not accept trailer returns at that location. I told them I had the written contract that showed their location and was told it was not their problem and that U-haul sends people with trailers there frequently, but they will not accept them. She close an locked the door. I had to go back and knock to get them to let me in and let me know where I was supposed to go. I will try not to use U-Haul again.

I reserved the van at Mr. Storage a week ago and they gave it away to another customer. There search revealed this location had an available van. I was to get a dolly as well. I was charged for it but didn’t receive it. Hopefully it will be deducted from my charges. Vehicle itself was great to drive.

Don’t charge extra amounts that was never mentioned before including a driving fee of $15. Didn’t know reservations expire and had tons of trouble trying to get the rental truck

Appliance dolly was not in truck and we picked it up before the store opened so that was problematic. Call 800 number and we had to travel 10 miles to get a dolly. Was given an extra 2 hours for this mistake but was then called/texted to have the truck back at the appointed time..........bad customer experience.

I had returned the vehicle after hours but I was not aware that I had to share my location and everything. So I had called to the customer care to resolve it, they said it will be fixed the next day. The next day I had to call back again where the area manager called and said the vehicle isn't parked at the location according to the dealers, I had personally drove their and found the vehicle present. I called him back and told him about it. The most pathetic experience I ever had. I was beginning to think there will be police complaints due to a missing vehicle. I was disappointed and probably going to never use uhaul even if others are expensive.

Dolly was not kept in the truck after requesting specifically. Nor was I informed of the unavailability. Had to travel additional distance to get a dolly from a different uhaul location, who would only give it as a separate rental, which I have to return at that location. So I ended up going to 2uhaul locations twice. Also they still billed for the dolly which I had to correct by contacting the customer service. Didn't like this experience.

When I came in to get a truck I was told that there was only 1 truck available. I took it home and it was too big to get in my driveway. It was scraping. I brought it right back. Only drove 4 miles. When I pulled the truck in one of the workers was screaming at me saying I need to move the truck out the way and what do I need. I told him I couldnt use the truck. He continues screaming saying this is all they have. I asked how much It will be. I was charged full price for a truck that I wasn’t able to use and told that there were no more trucks. . While waiting for my receipt a guy walked in inquiring about a truck and he was offered a truck smaller than I had. He wasn’t willing to help me anymore. He told me once I leave with the truck it’s not their problem. I have to call U-Haul to get my money. I call u haul and the my tell me I have to go through them. Im at a loss for money while they can still rent the truck to someone and get paid twice for the same 24 hours i was charged for. This isn’t fair.

The truck was filthy. Mud all over the truck and cup holder area had sticky residue all over. Cab was not swept either. Gas level was at 1/4 tank but call center noted 1/2 tank. All of this caused confusion when I returned truck. The app said to return truck by 12pm and I return around 10:46am only to be told I would get an extra day charge which I contested. This entire move experience was stressful and extremely unorganized.

Make sure the inside is clean before another customer drive it.It was dry coffee running on the dash wasn't too clean.The back of the uhaul was clean.There was only a quarter of tankof gas in it Which the custumer have to go straight to gas station.

The representative was discurteous and lazy. He gave us a dirty truck, which my kind movers insisted on sweeping out before loading. The U-Haul representative did not even pull the truck out for us, show us the interior (you can imagine why) nor load up the dolly. When we brought the U-Haul back 2 hours before closing time there was no U-Haul representative at all on site! I later found out they had randomly added a charge for a 2nd dolly, which was not even counted on my original ticket! I had to contact the 1-800 number for a partial refund. I highly doubt that I will be using U-Haul for my next move!

The Staff at this location was very unprofessional. I had to wait over 30 mins to get waited on then other customers that came in after me were waited on before me. Once I was being waited on I was rushed thru the process because it was close to their lunch time. I was showed where the Uhaul trailer was at and then left out in the rain to figure out how to hook up the trailer and to deal with any issues that I may have accured.

There is no customer parking! It doesn't say that anywhere on the reservation and we wasted 1.5 hours going there, then coming back to get someone and then going back again. The same with the drop off! I would NEVER USE this location AGAIN!!!

I rented a truck for an out of state one way rental. When I arrived the truck was not ready as it had just been returned from a local rental. The truck was not clean and the fuel was on empty. I was given a $25 credit for the inconvenience but was told I needed to return the truck with at least a quarter tank of gas. The person that was helping me was very unorganized and did not seem to know what he was doing. I am glad I have moved away from Charlotte so I never have to use this location again.

This was my first time using this location to rent a uhaul truck. When I arrived I immediately noticed that there is no where to park your vehicle. So I pulled up on a small grassy area between the buildings and immediately got yelled at by an older gentleman that worked at the auto repair shop where this uhaul location is based out of. Thankful another gentleman heard the conversation and said he would move so I can park in his space. I get out of the car and notice that there sign on the door said closed. After sitting in my car for at least 15 mins I saw a young man who was a customer walk up to the door and he also notice the closed sign on the door. He eventually decided to take the door and notice that they were open and he went in Period a few seconds later I know this that someone change the sign from close to open. So I get out of my car and proceeded to go into the building. I want even get into the cleanliness of the inside. During my transaction I was told that I was given a $8 discount because it had a little under a quarter tank of gas and was told to bring it back with more than a quarter tank of gas. The young man walked me outside tells me this is my van hands me the key and walks off. I get into the van and notice that the gas hand was very close to (E) empty and I had to really go to the gas station. While pumping the gas I know this there was a large empty flat box that was left in the back of the truck. I go through my day and I return the van to the U-Haul location later that night and this locations is not well lite at night and I was co concerned for my safety. Needless to say I will never ever rip from this location again. And would not suggest this location to anyone else.

The staff at this location was overwhelmed, which cause short and snappy answers and totally unprofessional responses. I had to hitch the trailer myself and when I did my safety checks, the first trailer, the left blinker did not work, the second trailer I tested...not only did the left blinker not work, the lights did not work either. I informed the customer service rep again and he brought out a gentlemen that was installing trailer hitches. He muttered thing under his breathe and claimed my car’s wiring is INOP... I informed him that I just pulled a UHAUL trailer last weekend and it all worked. I was informed that I did not know anything about cars and walked off. I will never use that UHAUL location again, nor will I ever recommended them to anyone. I highly recommended that if UHAUL has any cooperate image they care about, you may consider distancing yourself from this franchise holder.

This was an after hours drop off, so there was no interaction with the staff there. I had a little difficulty with the phone app to drop off. I ended up using the website. But, otherwise the process was o.k.
