Sai G.Staff not very helpful or friendly. I had to unhitch trailer myself. Location is very dirty, with homeless people living in storage units. Kind of scary, shady, and was not sure if everything with the return would go alright. Would not recommend and would ask Uhaul to investigate revoking their license to this place.

ROGER E.Great Experience. I rented the truck to move my son from one apartment to another in Tempe. The truck was in good condition and pick up and drop off were seamless. I had experienced delays in the move and called the manager to figure out what I needed to do for after hours drop off. He explained the process to me and it was seamless.

We were not only not provided a gate code to actually return the truck back onto the lot, but there were so many hoops to jump through both renting the truck and returning it that it's laughable. Additionally, we were prevented from lodging a complaint after the fact because the email that was used and associated with renting the truck was "invalid".

Ragul S.When getting a trailer, it would be nice to be able to pick it up where you ordered it intead of having to drivr into a different yown. In this case I had to drive from the middle of Mesa to the middle of Tempe to pick it up which was not very convenient. The same with the returen. I waisted 100 miles for pick up and return.

TYLER W.I arrived at the truck location 15 minutes before the pickup time (630pm). The truck was parked outside the gate and I proceeded to use the Uhaul app to start the "DriveShare" process. The app and the Uhaul website could not find my reservation and would not let me go through the process of getting the code to get the key. I called the 800 number for Uhaul and the first person I talked to had to recreate the order and send a email, then transfered me to the DriveShare deparment where I was put on hold for over an hour. Once I was connected to someone, they were unable to help get a code for the key box. I was on the phone for an hour and a half and got cutoff, or hung up on, three times. By this time it was dark and my wife and I were stranded in a bad neighborhood at the truck without a 4 digit code to get the key. I tried the process through the Uhaul app and webpage many times without success because it needed a Tax ID number, inwhich, I wasn't given and the customer service person had no clue how to fix it. This was very upsetting and very unprofessional on Uhaul's end. Fortunately I was able to figure out, by guessing, to put 4 zeros in the Tax ID field to make the app goto the next screen and finish the process of getting the key code. I plan to proceed further action due to this.
Edward C.I've never been more insulted in my entire life than how the employee treated my family and I during our move. The guy working started off by giving us an extremely rude attitude because we literally entered the building. He made it clear that he did not want us in there and I have a feeling it was because my father is transgendered because the employee stared at his drivers license for a solid 2 minutes as if he was not going to accept it. He would constantly cut us off mid sentence. When asking for a 3rd party contact he literally did not let me try and say “my sisterâ€. He cut me off at “my†and said “I TOLD YOU A 3RD PARTY! NOT YOURSELF!â€. We called later to ask how full the gas needs to be and he literally hung up on me. I was honestly worried that he was going to try and charge us for some damage that we did not do because that's what many google reviews say he does. This man's (child's) behavior is honestly inexcusable for someone who is supposed to be helping people during some of the most stressful times like moving.

Tyler W.I specifically did not book this location because I knew they closed early and I would have to return the truck after hours. This location is NOT SAFE, especially after dark for a single woman. The van I requested wasn't available so I had to take a larger, more expensive truck or risk missing out on my timeframe to move a piece of furniture i had purchased. The truck smelled like cigarettes and gave me a headache. When I returned the truck the online portion for afterhours returns took me 45 minutes because there is no wifi or cell signal in that storage facility. I kept trying to fill out each portion but it kept buffering and would come back empty or give me an error multiple times per page. with wifi it would have worked wonderfully and taken me 5 min. It was dark and I was alone and I couldn't leave to find signal because it requires pictures for every step. I felt very unsafe and don't appreciate being put in this situation and charged extra for it. I understand that I booked last minute but that was unavoidable on my part and the van was shown as available when I booked it. If I hadn't have looked at my confirmation I would have gone to the wrong UHAUL location in the first place because I booked a van at the one on McClintock since they stayed open until 7.

Brian M.Everything worked as expected, except your android mobile app. The pickup process was slow due to slow photo upload, and drop-off experience was awful because the photos failed to upload everytime! I had to access your website on my mobile instead and complete the photo upload there, but it was after I wasted a lot of my time trying to make the app work. I would think again before opting for mobile pick-up next time.
Kumar H.I was given the truck with a tank 3/4 full of gas. This is pretty inconvenient for having to fill back up to exactly 3/4 of a tank. It is much easier to just fill back up to a full tank. If the location cares about customer service, they would just fill tanks up to full for a better customer experience. Such a little thing that could have been done, it is bizarre that it wasn't.
