Refund my rental bill & reimburse my expenses after a rep from this location told tow company about a possible abandoned vehicle ( they mistakenly thought my black 2007 Tahoe where I parked it as directed by u haul person it was ok to park there ) also the small cube truck I reserved online for the rental was NOT avail upon pick up time, so I had to get a bigger truck than needed ( also more $$) towing $186 plus had to pay for 2 Lyft rides another $21 !!! I explained to the old man there when I returned the vehicle that there were roaches running all over the van. He distinctly asked me " didn't you check for roaches when you did your vehicle check before you left"? I told him which was the fact that the roaches didn't start running until I drove off with the vehicle and it vibrated down the road. So he pretty much accussed me of bringing the roaches Into the van. I drove a brand new VOLVO SUV that cost almost $60k. I'm not sure why he felt compelled to accuse me of bringing roaches u to the van. It was debrisleas inside but the van had never been actually wiped down or a deep clean on the inside since it's been I'm uhauls fleet. I had to put on rubber gloves to touch the steering wheel. A dolly that was in my original order was not available the day of pickup. The dolly was deleted from my order. Also, there was not a dozen pads that I had ordered - only 7. The charge for the pads was prorated. The truck was clean and a pleasure to drive.William B.
I was severely overcharged on the mileage of my rental. At pickup the stated mileage on the vehicle was incorrect. So during the online pickup process I typed the corrected mileage and submitted a picture for verification to show the actual mileage at pickup. However, upon check in, the mileage did not reflect this change and I was incorrectly charged for 90 miles when my rental was approximately 25 actual miles driven.Walker H.

The truck itself needs maintenance really bad. window knob broken, gear shifts gets stuck, cold ac and runs okay but needs work. Oil change light was at 0%. Very easy process to picking up truck with a reservation, and guy who owns the store us very nice and reasonable guy. love the location, trucks should just be a little more well maintained.Turquora D.

U-Haul representative was not very apologetic about not having the universal dolly for which we had paid. Nor was he in the least apologetic about the fact that he doesn't hitch trailers to vehicles. He even had the audacity to ask me who I expected to do the hitching, and I replied "U-haul!"Allan N.

Spent about 15 minutes each time to hand the rail at the back of the truck that wasn't aligned properly. Wasn't able to speak with the employee to voice my concerns as they were busy and only took the keys and said I would be emailed the final invoice. The procedure was not clear at all and I spent over an hour trying to remove and put that rail in place.DANIEL P.

Trailer was dirty, it had dried cement in it. The gate was held up with what appeared to be an extension cord, because the chains were too long. The green cord on both sides was about 20 feet long and wrapped around multiple places on the trailer. The closure for the gate was deformed, which made securing the gate more difficult than necessary. The location is inside a gas station, which would be fine if there was a person to assist uhaul customers. I had to hookup my trailer and drop it off without anyone coming outside to make sure it was properly connected. No one checked the damages outbound and when I returned the trailer I was told that once they close they will check to make sure I returned it and then I would receive a receipt. Overall, the people are not rude, the equipment I received was in poor condition, and the customer service was non existent.NICKOLAS F.

Your van was full of roaches. I locked the key in the van and your customer service Department offered no assistance. I had to call a locksmith because there are no spare keys to any of the uhaul vans or truck. Also when I dropped the van off at the location where I picked it up, the service clerk refused to give me a printed receipt.David D.

I was supposed to pick up the truck on St. RD. 84AND I-95. I had a reservation that obviously doesn't mean crap. They said they had no trucks and it could be two or three days. I have rented equipment at this location in the past, and never had a real issue there, but this time was exceptionally awful and cost me a lot of money. My reservation was schedule for 8 am. I arrived 5 minutes early, but the clerk at the location told e that the person who handles U haul wouldn't be in until 9. I said fine even though I chose that location because it gave the option of an early start, and I planned accordingly. When the person arrived started dealing with other customers before me, even though he knew form the get go that I was waiting since 8 am. I had to call the 1800 number which had me on hold for about 20 mins before I could get anyone to help. The offered me to change my reservation to a different location which was 15 miles away in the opposite direction of where I was intended to go, and at this point I was already 1 hour and half behind schedule. The person I spoke to was kind enough to give a credit for $50 for not having the equipment ready on time, but that doesn't cover the costs of the extra 2 hours I had to pay for the help I had lined up for the day. On top of that they already had another job, so I couldn't pick up another piece of furniture that was in a different location, because I was told that I could only pick it up before 11, so now I will have to rent another truck to pick this one item that would only fit in a truck and I would need to pay helpers again. I don't know if anyone would get back to me about this issue, but needless to say I am extremely disappointing with the overall experience.
