You billed me for the full amount even though I specifically selected (union drop off and of 24/7 key return) to call or chat to discuss the charges as I have a U-Haul credit I want to use toward this. How simple of a request and still failed to get it right.David G.

Took over 10 minutes to get the lock code. Truck battery was dead. Spent over an hour trying to get U-Haul to assist with roadside assistance / truck swap (absolute nightmare, we actually had to get one of our movers to come and jump start the truck). We arrived at 8:30 as booked. We cannot log into our account firstly. Then the location system does not work. Then when you call the customer service number you get transfered three times and each time you hold on for 10 plus minutes. The time we only managed to get the key was 11:00. The shop owner refused to open up so he could assist over the counter because he was scared of corona. When we got the key the truck was dirty. Inside and out. The fuel level was not at half a tank but quorichard F.

There was no one there at 6 for the return, we didn't have time to put gas in it prior to return, we used an eighth of a tank of gas but charged for 24 litres, drove 7 miles in total, was charged for 15... this was a horrible experience and will NOT use Uhaul ever again, and will tell everyone I know not to use your company either... thank you for making an already stressful experience even more stressful.ina A.
Check engine light was on. Multiple scrapes/dents to truck. All labelled but still gave concern to driving. Was told that truck was dirty upon return, but upon inspection was only their stuff in the truck that had fallen (i.e. loose chain). Was easy to get and affordable.adamdanel B.

Staff at location was not friendly at all. Did not tell us where to park the truck back. When I picked up the trucked it was the only truck parked on the side of the property. When I went back to return it there was already a truck parked in that spot. I attempted to park it on the other side of the property, only to have it nearly bottom out, owner of the property had their personal vehicles blocking the driveways. I had reserved 5 blankets and a dolly with one of the two trucks I ordered, one truck had blankets and a dolly in the back which was tagged with a strap. I was told that if I needed the blankets and the dolly to just break the strap, which I didn't use , but was charged for blankets and a dolly anyways which I did not use , and the strap was not broken, I asked to have the blanket and the dolly charge removed but they would not take it off the bill. I am not happy with this outcome , also I plan on renting next time with clearway rentals if I am not reimbursed for the dolly and blanket charges . bad news travels fast. hope to hear from u haul on this matter greg hiltonGreg H.

Hello the man we dealt with was very rude and combative. He wanted us to sweep the truck which wasnt a problem but he was very rude and was in my face and my husband's. We will never use that location again! This was the first time we have had a terrible experience. Sincerely Ed & Shelly BlakeEd B.

The location would be a problem for most users in the city, but of course perfect for those in the surrounding neighbourhood. A convenience store in a residential area is a little off the beaten path. Better to have a location in a commercial area.Ole N.
The inside if the truck was very muddy. But the girls at Valley market got us a mop and bucket so that we could wash it out. Still, we were happy with truck as it drove well and had no problems with returning it.Leah M.

They trailer was not clean when I got there, so had to wait for it to be cleaned and they hooked it to my truck but did not latch it, so the trailer came off and bent my bumper. It could have been much worse. I was not happy at all with this service and not sure who would pay for my bumper. And even though I had to wait, I still had to have trailer back on time.Kim C.

To qualify the "No" on the equipment question, the truck was clean and generally worked fine mechanically speaking, we just had a slight problem as we had to drive in heavy rain and the windshield wipers were completely worn down (rubber threads hanging off the blade). They did not do well in clearing the windshield at all, making visibility difficult. I would recommend those things get checked and replaced. Another thing the heavy rain exposed was some kind of minor leakage into the cargo compartment (in one corner) but thankfully the mattresses that were tucked in there were wrapped in plastic so no harm done. Had it not rained so much I think we would have had no complaints at all, so those two little tings aside, everything else was great, thank you!Ronnie J.

Arranged to pick up the truck at 8am. No one was rhere. I had to go to their door (home above store) to get some one there. Took almost 25 minutes to get someone that knew what they were doing to start helping, but then there account was having troubles. Left there about 840 with the truckKerri T.

The truck was not available. We came back a few hours later to get a different truck that became available. The truck had no muffler. The exhaust was coming inside the cab. The inside of the van was dirty. All we got for this was free kilometres. Not impressed at all.carol W.

I disagreed with the rental agent's assessment of the gas level upon return. To my own observation the gas level was the same as when I picked it up. And the charge for the difference he perceived was $29.11. I don't understand how anyone expects to have repeat business when they treat customers like that.Denis V.

1. There were a number of dents on the truck I borrowed, and the rattling sounds whenever I decelerated the vehicle made me concerned about: a) Is this truck safe? b) Am I going to have to pay for repairs if this truck has a problem while I am moving? c) I took 3 pictures of dents on the vehicle that had not been marked with an x before I started. Is this dealer as trustworthy as I am? 2. The parking lot is small at this location. Instead of maneuvering the truck into a parking space, I parked on the street outside the dealer's business. When I walked in the door I was "greeted" roughly, "Why are parking on the street?" I would have expected him to thank me for my business, and the co-worker who went to check the mileage could do the parking. Poor customer service.Jo V.
Have the staff trained in people skills, to understand that people do not do things on purpose to annoy them. People are embarased sometimes when things happen out of thier control, it is not meant as a purposeful slight on thier part. And to be treated as if it was only makes the person more embarrassed to speak of it! I was moving stuff out of my dead husband's apartment! I had a lot of stress during this time, and I don't know if that is what caused the diahrea that they went ballistic about! I did sit on the chair and leave a mark, but bleach and water would have cleaned it up and disinfected it! They chose however to throw out the flimsy metallic chair and put it in the garbage. Thier choice, not mine. They wanted to charge me $50. Cash for the chair, when I said invoice me, they said I refused to pay, I did not refuse to pay, I just asked for him to Bill me, but he didn't want to do that! He wanted cash! I would have been OK with paying an amount for the chair, but thier attitude made me feel like I should not! The me attitude does cut it with older folks, we do not do these things on purpose to piss people off. Had she took the attitude that I must have been very embarrassed and humiliated to leave the stain on the chair. Bleach and water would have gotten it out, but she insisted that I must have done it on purpose...... And never looked at my situation where I was embossed and humiliated that this happened! The all about me attitude must go at this location! I fear when these ladies have children of there own! They will not so easily dispose of furniture and have an understanding that when you ate moving, people have a lot of issues that they may not know about!avril C.
This was not a good experience and if we ever have to rent a truck again it will not be from this location. When we arrived the truck had not come back yet and when it did it only had 1/3 of a tank. Then when it did they could not get our contract to print as they did not have any ink in any of two printers I then asked for it to be emailed to me they said yes and then they could not do that so we finally just took a pic of the screen. we now were 30min late to get our truck. I can not get over how un professional the staff was. talking on the phone and just so unsure of what to do. Im still shocked that they did not have spare ink the dad had to run out and get some ink. Not a good experience at all. May have to go with another company next time.Tammy F.
