Location looks like a scrap yard with disassembled and zombie cars around the lot - taking up space where customers could park. The service staff seemed okay but delayed checking my rental back in for over 2 days resulting in me being charged for an extra day and me having to call to get the charge reversed. All in all a very poor customer experience. I will not rent from this location again nor recommend others do so.GUY A.

I never received a confirmation call like I was told I would get. I called and called, left messages at the number in the email to make sure I had a reservation. I never heard back from anyone so I went to the location, which is walking distance from my house. When I got there I was informed that they don't have trucks there. The guy was very nice, called a secret number that you don't give to customers, and found us a truck at a location about 20 minutes away. I had to take a Lyft to get there. The guys at both locations were fine and did their jobs. It was whoever that was supposed to keep me updated about my rental and where to actually get it that failed at their job. They cost me time and additional money. This is such a disappointment.TIMOTHY W.
From the start I was not happy, the uhaul I rented wasn't there on time so I had to reschedule my move. Then 2 days later Max the best most helpful person, helped my mother in law and I and he really went above and beyond for us. He wasn't even on the clock and took the time to walk us threw everything to get checked out. Not to mention how clean the uhaul was. I had the uhaul well over my desired date, and max made sure to take care of that. When returning it once again he was so helpful walked me through every step broke down my bill so I understand and really made it a quick and easy process. I was not informed of the way in which I needed to return the vehicle resulting in hidden fees. Mileage was not accurate and was overcharged.. terrible experience. I moved one large oversized artwork from place a to place b. Was back in about an hour and wound up with a 100 dollar charge. This is as close to fraud as you can get.CATHERINE D.

I was over charged and charged twice. My bank is disputing. The truck was dirty both the driving area and the back of it. There was a very narrow place to park upon returning it because it was filled with other cars and I was not explained the return process in which I did but was double charged anyway.Joyclyn B.
The number of my truck was NOT the license Plate number. It took me a while until some other person looking for their truck said that the number is on the cab above the front window. Then I found my truck. I double checked in the back for my 6 blankets I added and they were not there so double check! It was easy to check in and out at this location.Dayna C.

Your website check in was not easy. We had to change our web settings before we could get started. Waiting for help on the phone with the prompts, â€œthat it would be easier to use your websiteâ€ became annoying because I needed help to use it. There was another customer at the check in as well and he had the identical problems I was having. Oh and the website could not verify the location but it was the one assigned to me when I checked the truck. The truck was really good to driveBONNIE W.

I made a 24/7 appointment to pick up the Uhaul at 7:00am when the store opened at 9:00am. When I got there at 7:00am and I tried to pick up the keys through the app, it said I had to come back at 9:00am when it was open. This essentially screwed up my entire moving schedule and loading dock appointment I had. When I got the Uhaul at 9:00am, the vehicle was essentially on empty. And, later, when I pushed the mirror in while parking on a busy street, the mirror disconnected because the metal attaching it was so stripped. So I was driving a Uhaul around with no rearview mirror on the driver side. With all that being said, the guy helping me at the store was great/helpful and my bill was cut substantially, probably based on the aforementioned problems. I definitely appreciate that.Samuel R.

I was told that I could return the truck to a different location, and that was NOT the case. When I arrived at the other location, the agent there informed me that there would be a $300 fee for returning to a different location. Had I known that information ahead of time, I could have planned accordingly. But instead, I ended up returning the vehicle late because of this and was charged for an extra day!Jennifer C.

The truck was not clean. I reeked of marijuana and was filthy with stuff spilled on the console. I took it through the car wash before returning it because it was so dirty and cleaned up the interior. I still wash charged the full amount which didn't seem reasonable!JENNIFER JAYNE S.
the application would cut out if left on a step too long. I was afraid that I would not be able to finish my pickup and drop off with this situation. Please look into maintaining an active page through the app when people have to walk to get to the keys when they are not near the vehicle. Do a better job of rating the amount of fuel used or allow people to refuel the vehicle themselves to the previous amount and provide a receipt for proof of purchase. I had calculated about 15 miles needed for my move. I was charged $26 dollars and change for fuel costs and had the issue with the page not holding location again while trying to check the vehicle in after use. The app is in severe need of an overhaul so that it will not lose a customer's location during check-in or check-out and the options for fuel rather than getting reamed cost-wise at your desired fuel rate while sing the no contact app for pickup and drop off.Eric R.

The uhaul was not swept out from the previous person and they used furniture pads that were all unfolded in the attic area so we had to put them in the front seat to use the attic space. Tried calling the location with no answer.Whitney L.
I believe the U-Haul experience was A-OK. The downside is that moving a truck full of furniture can be hard on an old guy ... but that has nothing to do with the equipment & service provided by U-Haul. Thank you!!JAMES H.

Overall, my experience with trying to get a trailer, and them a vehicle, to move furniture donated to my non-profit, was awful. From my first encounter where I found out that the item I reserved wasn't there and the counter person could clearly not care less, to the ridiculous hoops one needed to jump through to use the mobile check in - really. my passport and business lease? And the wait times to get through to a representative were over 30 minutes, at which point I just hung up. Disappointed on all counts.IAN M.

The vehicle had low tire warning light on. The gas light was also on. Had to go out of my way immediately to put gas in it and then find some place to put air in the tire. A total pain. It's nearly impossible to contact anybody. I sat on hold for 45 minutes.Emily S.

I returned the truck after hours. Parking was limited in the crowded lot. Not the best area of town. Personnel was somewhat helpful. Consumers do not have much choice over location with UHaul, so I don't feel that my recommendation matters much.ALISON A.

1. I selected the 24/7 mobile option when placing my reservation, but when I arrived at the reservation time the system sent an error that my '24/7 pick up would require hand delivery and the location is not yet open.' According to the local scheduler this was because the location didn't have their system online for some reason. 2. When i returned to the location during open hours, the online reservation system finally was accessible (maybe the operator leaves it off on purpose when he's closed?) , but I had many problems with it due to lack of clear instructions (eg that an alternate contact can't be someone already on the reservation, that including a contact number will prompt a phone call to the person so they should be ready to receive the call, what 'lease agreement' was meant to refer to, etc) The system was also super buggy - once i got the error that an alternate contact can't be someone on the reservation, the system would not let me 'clear' and enter another name, so I had to start completely over 3. I have been billed for dollies I did not use and were not provided. One dolly was affixed to the truck with a zip tie, which is still in place as proof I did not use it. There was not a second dolly in the truck. 4. The operator seemed understaffed - at least 10 parties were waiting to pick up their truck when I arrived at their opening time, and with only one person to run keys, equipment, or manually process reservations, it was very inefficient. My reservation started two full hours later than I had requested it.Laura F.

Asking me to phone a friend for verification once I got to the location was traumatic. I had to stand out of a gas station in a poor neighborhood where multiple men verbally abused me all because I had to spend fifteen minutes on the phone trying to find someone available to verify my identity. I took an Uber to this location so that my car wouldn't remain there and the attendant led to to believe I would not have any options if I didn't find a friend for Uhaul to call. In all of my years of using Uhaul this will be my last time. I was demeaned by the attendant for â€˜not having any friends.' I've been an independent person all of my life and enjoyed the fact that I could move myself on my own. Goodbye! I will not use your services again and will just pay the extra money for a professional moving service. Perhaps I will be respected then. This location billed us for an erroneous charge, even though the truck was checked in. The employee failed to complete and a day later this location charged a late fee. The phone number they list does not work and the mailbox is full...there was no way to contact this location and I have been on hold for UHaul customer service for 60 minutes. I followed the drop off instructions and it says that the drop box is located in front which I did, then it asked for the odometer reading which since keys were already in the box I couldn't get. Staff not wearing masks indoors. Systems NEVER work! Set up for contactless service and still had to go indoors to get and drop off the truck. Was dirty (muck splashed on walls) when I got it and the cab had definetly NOT been cleaned after the last use. I took a broom with and swept out but was charged $25 cleaning fee (I assume to clean the mess from the last renter). Could not easily park truck upon return. Additional miles were driven after drop off and then I was charged for them. Took more than 48 hours to close out transaction. No way to call location to inquire about anomalies and I work 10 hour days and can't go down in person until Saturday! Get it together UHaul! I had this truck for 3 hours, only put 30 miles on it and you want to charge me 165 bucks?!? I hope I never need another Uhaul! If I do... I will rent a Penske!Christine M.

Between the system being down and the employee being incompetent, it took an hour to rent a Uhaul I already placed a reservation on. At one point, the employee realized he gave me the truck before the registration was completed and asked that I return to the location 20min after I had driven off.Leinaala V.
It took over 30minutes to check in because the printer was not working for the clerk and the keys were not where they were meant to be for the customer in front. I ended up having to sign on a random piece of paper and did not receive a copy of my contract. The guy working there was trying his best and did a good job, but the circumstances were frustrating. Then once I start loading the truck, I noticed that the moving blankets were all really damp and could not be used. Luckily I had purchased extra blankets, and they were dry, but the ones that came with the truck were wet and gross. Lastly, the latch/bracket keeping the hand truck in place was broken which meant that it could have easily come loose and moved around the cargo area. Those issues were really disappointing and frustrating.MORTEN H.

After reserving a 15' truck online and then confirming it on the phone at this location, when I arrived I was told they had no 15' trucks left only 10'. This increased my cost because it took more trips to move. I was also charged for a dolly that I did not rent and when I tried to get it removed from my bill I was told they couldn't do it there and would have to call some number. The truck was beat up. It was the height of the rainy season and the truck leaked everywhere. Boxes of books soaked and destroyed. I was charge for a furniture dolly which was not provided. I was told the truck would be half full of gas, and yet it had less than a quarter in it at rental. I reported all of this to the attendant there and was promised a follow up. But instead I received an invoice from U-Haul charging me for a full tank of gas. I even have photos of everything to show how they cheated me.Thomas B.
