Customer service was straight to the point. Very little human contact.
ELIJAH EIt's not a usual U-Haul center it is a mechanics type outside garage business that has U-Haul available there. Not a cool and comfortable place to do business, had to sit outside in the heat but the young man who assisted me was so sweet, so kind, so helpful and tried to make me comfy while waiting....I don't want to say anything bad about this place, I just don't think I'd go there again except for his great service. I wasn't very comfortable...but others might be and the other people sitting around were super nice too...10 stars for service with a smile.

Liz CI will never user UHAUL again. I would rather strap my furniture to my back and personally walk it from city to city than to use this crooked company in the future. I requested a truck and was given an estimate of $280. "SafeMove" was added to my order without my knowledge. I picked the truck up from a dump in San Antonio and had to sign the "contract" on a greasy ipad. Apparently, what you agree to and order online means nothing when you get to a location. In any even, once inside the truck, I found the environmental controls in the truck were non-operable, making for an unpleasant trip. To make matters worse, I was restricted to 291 miles moving between San Antonio and Galveston, Texas, and forced to return the truck to a location 30 miles from my residence, causing me to exceed both mileage and time restrictions for which I was charged $150. At the end of this experience I was charged over $500, twice what I was quoted.

Tony FBad side of town. Doesn’t open until 11 am — so you can’t pick up your Uhaul early in the morning, and you lose half a day. Three people there, and none of them knew how to rent me a Uhaul. The guy who did it all on his phone told me he may have charged me THREE (3) times, because he couldn’t figure out how to complete the contract on his cell phone. Just all around a poor experience.

Guillermo DThis location was not even close to what I was expecting from U-Haul. Worst management and very disrespectful for my time. Person at location was friendly but had no knowledge of system. I paid for everything upfront but manager who was operating remotely, created another reservation. Took one hour and 15 minutes of my time while he was giving instruction over the phone to the person at pick up location. Truck was not clean (cabin) and my entire schedule was disturbed due to one hour plus delay by this U-Haul location. I don’t know why U-Haul would risk their reputation. I was also charged additional amount by San Antonio manager. Drop off location was absolutely opposite. I was greeted as soon as I walked in to Katy location and with 45 seconds I was out.
