I rented a truck like I have been doing over the last 60 years. I had not looked at contract. To recover the rules have changed! The place was out of town. The owner call me to let me know he rented the truck to someone else plus he was closing. I had my people coming in from Georgia when we realize there was no truck within 90 miles of us to pick up. It made me want to quit working with your company. But because my last movies it is Christmas week I need a small trailer which I will rent from you, Reluctantly. I had to repeat myself several times. The back of the truck had to be swept out before using. There was only a half tank of gas. I took pictures of milage and gas before and after use of the truck. I have used Uhaul many times and this was the worse pick up.GARY H.

I will never use Uhaul again. My truck was not ready. I had to drive over 40 miles to this location and settle for 2 small trucks which ment twice the amount of gas and tolls. Totally uncalled for!!!!James C.

This location was not good. Basically an antiques/junk store in an old gas station. When we got there my wife needed to use the restroom. It was outside and we were told it may or may not work. It was absolutely disgusting. We could not rent the truck and get out of there fast enough. Very sketchy.Brian T.

I ordered my uhaul but had to drive almost 2 hours round trip to pick it up because it was the closest location. I also requested an 8 an pick up but couldn't get it at this location so my move day was delayed almost 4 hours.johnnie H.
What can you do to improve for the next customer? Have the equipment at the location it was reserved for. I reserved a trailer for pick up in Natchitoches, LA for 8:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning. I was notified the pick up location would be 25 miles away in Many, LA at a place that didn't open until 9:00 a.m. That delayed the start of my work by two hours (by the time I drove to the other location, waited an extra hour for them to open, then drove back). What's the point of choosing a pick up location if you can't honor it? (The service at the pick up location was EXCELLENT!!)Joe T.

There were ants inside the truck seats besides that the lady at this location was helpful and nice. The first location we went to in Natchoches, LA was rude and very curt. We drove over 3 hours to get here and no truck was available. We were promised free miles and I didn't see any of that but we were charged more on our credit card. This was an unpleasant experience during a stressful time. Not what Uhaul should want to stand for.Sutrulor G.

Rented one tow dolly I hooked up to it plugged it in and the lights wouldn't work. Had to go back in and redo all the paperwork and get a different one. Spent an hour just getting along with lights and everything and doing paperwork. For one that we had already went online and rented.Patricia H.

I was originally scheduled to drop off the truck at Country Convenience. After arriving, they would not accept my truck as they no longer take U-Haul. I then drove 49 extra miles. I had actually rented two trucks so the return process took over two hours to complete do to the extra drive time. To top it off I was charged extra since the gas was low, which it wouldn't have been if the original drop location would have accepted the truck. Also the second truck had more gas in it, but I didn't get a credit for that. I will not recommend nor will I use U-Haul for anything going forward in the future.Steven H.

The truck had dried mud in the cab, and the back was covered in leaves, mud, sticks, and foam pellets. The reported gas level was incorrect. They said it had 3/8 of a tank, but it only had a 1/4. The person that ran the location told me I was good to go on the pickup and didn't explain that I had to go online to my account to do the pickup. So I drove off in the truck without paying for it. If I had gotten in a wreck, I wouldn't have been covered.Donald M.

The problem with this location is the on duty person has no help, no equipment to move trailers, no blocks to put under the tounge of the trailers, etc. She complained that she had requested equipment on several occasions and has still not received any help from U-Haul. Also, I had taken a trailer to this area before and the location I used before was no longer a U-Haul dealer but was not updated in the U-Haul computers. I had to drive further than I anticipated and had no directions for this location. Overall, no a good rating for U-Haul on this trip.virgina B.
