The guy was very rude. Truck on had an empty tank but the paper work say 3 quarts full and had the nerves to charge me. But won’t used them again

This location to much price , because I rent before U- hall on Kenvil and price was less , it was same truck and distance now charge to much check my records and you see it , I’m not happy price to hight

MARIN RWorst customer experience I have ever had. Location was covered in dog feces, truck was covered in food and sticky substance. The man who was “helping me” did not clean the truck, ordered to clean it myself or come back another day. He told me to tell him the gas and mileage from the past user. He never stood up from his seat. Then I was offered insurance and when I declined he yelled at me “you better not damage this truck or I’ll come after you civily”. I was then charged $16 for gas after I delivered the truck back with the exact amount of gas I got it with. I then called to ask why I was charged for gasoline and he said he was “too busy to talk to me” and hung up the phone.

ANISH BI've rented here multiple times and the equipment is always practically brand new. I have had issues with the counter checkout multiple times, and will only do the App option moving forward.
MICHAEL D24/7 wasn't a smooth experience for me at all. The customer should be told the requirements up ahead of time and all the contacts verification etc. So that we don't have to scramble at the location. I had to call support 2-3 times and they kept telling me "Go through the process" . Finally was able to get through it after several attempts and frustration. While checking out the App went dark on me and my reservation disappeared from the system. Up until now I don't see it under my past reservations. This isn't the first time I've rented U-Haul. I've done it online as well in the past - but it was never this difficult. Luckily I was able to return the keys since the location was open. After a day of moving this is not what you're looking forward to. U-Haul should not make the experience such that people start searching alternatives and look to stay very far from U-Haul.
Abdul HThis is the second time I have used Vitos Service Center to rent a truck. Vito is great and was concerned about me getting a ticket if I parked my car on the street. The truck was ready to go and very clean. I highly recommend Vito's and will use him again.

Christopher BFellow customers: 1) Please take a photo of the odometer and the gas gauge at pickup. And then another photo at turn in, I was glad I did because I was charged for 41 extra miles ($82) and for four gallons of gas ($20), (even though I had returned the vehicle with more gas than it had at pickup). The owner does not go out in the parking lot to do a joint inspection with you, so this photo is your only supporting evidence. 2) Be aware that for Uhaul truck rental, Friday and Saturday are considered "weekend rates," which is $1.99 a mile versus .99 cents a mile for Sunday-Thursday. I did not know this. When I saw my bill for $1.99 a mile I said, "Maybe I missed something." So I scanned the UHaul webpage looking for why this might be $1.99 and not ,99 cents. I was unable to uncover any evidence of a $1.99 "weekend rate." But maybe you are smarter than I am. I only learned about this "weekend rate" by calling the central UHaul office for an explanation, 3} When I submitted my reclama for my receipt to the Uhaul Front Office, they did not hesitate to reimburse me the $103. The ladies that handled my case were friendly and helpful. So if you are ever overcharged, Stay Calm. The ladies will take corrective action, But you need that photo, my friend.

Steven SI dropped the truck off on Sunday and they are closed. However, I will note that the parking lot is very small and was quite full so it was difficult to even see the storefront and then to find a spot to park.

Sarah FDrop off box was not lock properly!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was trying to make sure the keys secure inside, and I hurt my hand really bad with the box. Boxed opened fully and felt on my hand. I was able to see my keys and someone else's keys. I tried my hardest to secure the box but was not able due to the fact that the current lock is not the correct size for this box. I left the lock unlock and keys to the trucks unsafe!!!!!!!!!! I know have a bruise on my hand.

Charles FTire was low on air, no way they could have missed this. Indicator on dash was lite up. added air, then again, the next day air pressure was down to 35lbs. Called Roadside assistance, two hours eta. We unloaded the truck and drove it to drop off location. We advised the lady at check in, who as "was it a nail?". Who knows....

Ron GI ordered and paid for moving blankets which I did not receive. Also, the entire online process for check in is not user friendly. I’m fairly young and tech savvy but it gave me errors and just delayed my rental. If someone older and not as tech savvy as me had to do this it would be terrible.

George VAbsolutely the worst rental place ever! I’ve rented many times with U-Haul and this is the first rental that was absolutely terrible. This rental is at Vito Service Center located on 211 E. Blackwell Street. Dover, NJ. This is not a rental office, it’s more like a small office attached to a mechanic garage. The person who I met for the rental was sitting behind a desk and didn’t even get up the whole time I was there. I asked if he could show me the rental truck and he just pointed it’s out there. When I found the rental truck, he gave me the wrong key. He was very nonchalant about the entire rental process. Didn’t seem to care other than I just leave before he closes at 2pm. ****Worst part of the rental is he issued me the wrong rental agreement. It was for a totally different truck that has different miles and different fuel gauge. Subsequently, I was charged an erroneous amount for the rental based on the truck I was not even renting **** I tried calling the U-Haul service line and was on hold forever to explain the rental mix up. ***Do Not rent from Vito Service Center 211 E. Blackwell St. Dover, NJ*****
Gregory SSome undeserved bad reviews here. You are renting a Uhaul, if you're incapable of some self-service then how are you going to load up the truck/van? Had a billing issue after return, called up Vito, he took care of it quickly, even texting me to follow-up. They have lots of vans, and every time I've rented they've all been under 10k miles.
MICHAEL DOwner was late for pick up and I wasn't even aware he charged me for the rental. Even the drop off person was surprised I was charged.
