I picked up this uhaul and it was only 1/4 a tank full but was told i had to drop it off with 3/4 tank full. So I had to pay for gas once and get charge out the ass when I I turned it in. It should have been 3/4 a tank full when i picked it up.Austin N.

I rented the van when I got in it stunk like poo I was told by the old lady that did my application if I got there late just leave the key in The Orange box I was not told by the old lady that I would be able to $20 if I was late and I was and they took $20 more I just think it was dirty the way they did it they could have told me instead of simply saying if you're late just drop the key in the lunch box outside never mentioning I would be billed $20 more for the rental that's bad business know what I mean ðŸ˜SHARON C.

Easy pick up process, that was nice. Being open past 3pm on weekdays would be a nice touch. I rushed back to return my truck and pulled in the parking lot just a few minutes past 3pm and the Open sign was lit but by the time I got to the door the sign was turned off and the staff member getting in her car told me to just drop the key in the box. I understand wanting to keep regular hours and regular schedule but when you see someone pulling in, a few extra minutes to assist customers would have been nice.WILLIAM D.

The truck was as it was when I got it and returned it... I had to clean the cargo area before use and and before returning it..the cab area was as it was upon returning it!!! Due to pass rentals I have never rented a partially clean truck!!! Therefore I hope that I wasn't charged for the return of the truck n it's cleanliness? Thank you and be blessed!!!SHEILA A.

The trailer had a bunch of wet mud inside when I picked it up (just inside the door). I was hauling a new bedroom set and the mattress and frame got mud all over one end. Other than that everything was great.Chad M.

Overall, I did like renting from my location. It was mostly uneventful. However... If you really have someone inspect the vehicle before renting it out to the next person, please tell me who would approve of leaving a bunch of McDonalds trash and used masks all over the floor. And you KNOW the last people that returned it said â€œit was cleanâ€ just to avoid the $25 cleaning fee. None of my van doors were locked when I got there either. And the left side mirror was all jacked up to the point I couldn't see out of it no matter how many times I adjusted it.Karleen D.

I felt the lady in the office was rude. She acted as though I was a bother the whole time. My phone was not uploading pictures I am not sure if it was the connection there or my phone. Either way I was unable to upload pictures to your website and this was time consuming as I never did get them uploaded. The back of the van was not clean. I was moving a piece of furniture but I did rent blankets so my furniture stayed clean. But I was unable to upload a picture to prove it. I was very disappointed in this location. I hope I don't have a need for this service again.JULIE W.
FairPlay was not my original pickup location. I was scheduled to pick up at R&G Auto near my move location but the truck wouldn't start. I never could get the proprietor on the phone. After a long wait on hold we finally got uhaul and had to arrange a pickup 20 miles away. Things went smoothly from there but that was extra time, extra stress, extra mileage. Frankly I should be discounted - not to mention there was no dolly which I had preordered. I've had a similar experience before. Basically it comes down to the local pickup/drop off - this pickup place was awful. A muddy parking lot with handmade signs, a dead truck, and no one answering the phones.Carol C.

The online after hours return was terrible. It would not allow me to take a photo of my mileage and gas level. I hope I didn't get charged the $20 fee because I added the details to the paper form that I put in drop box with the keys.Lionel W.

This company was not prepared beforehand even though we had reserved a month in advance. The clerk had to go out to the lot to figure out which trailer was ours. It took 45 minutes to be processed even with most of the paperwork filled out on line.Keith G.

The location was closed during the drop of (the middle of the day) but we were able to get the trailer parked. Then had a hard time returning it online bc the gps wasn't working well and you had to use that for the return.Edward G.

The old lady who checked me in lacks customer service skills. She is very rude! Very argumentative! When I walked in I was on the phone and I told her I couldn't hang up because it's an important call. But I also told her I was on hold and if she wanted to talk she could to give her some options. So she said let's proceed with getting the rental. So I did! She asked for a picture of my license so I put the phone on speak and proceeded to take a picture with my phone and to send it over. Well the lady on the phone came back on the phone and I said to the her on the phone â€œhold on, I will be right with you. Well your representative said â€œI DON'T WANT TO HERE THAT ON THE PHONE!â€ So I explained to her again that why I told you I was on the phone in the mean time my license and everything she needed was alrighty in her computer. Instead of her saying thank you, she proceeded to argue about it. I explained to her in the beginning what was going on and she didn't have a problem with it. She need to make up her mind! Either it okay to be on the phone or not! When I returned, there was her and another lady who returned the van. The other lady was awesome! Very polite and nice! She should be the first line of contact for your company!Uvonne R.

Returned Auto Transport 15 minutes after rental and still got charged. Area manager said that I'd get a refund but I still have not. The 26 ft Uhaul was in bad need of a wheel alignment and was constantly bouncing and vibrating. A 1/3 of my items were damaged in transit!!! I will NEVER rent from Uhaul again!Frank S.

My only complaint is that the trailer i rented was very heavy and did not have a trailer jack on the tongue to assist with hooking and unhooking. I had to lift the tongue off the ground to attach to trailer hitch And, had there not been another customer in the lot to assist, I would not have been able to manage hooking and unhooking the trailer from my vehicle. Thankfully, I did not need to unhook it while it was loaded, I would have been unable to physically lift it off of the trailer hitch even with assistance while loaded.Devin M.

The truck was absolutely infused with the smell of Cigarettes- (AND I USED to Smoke) - even the air-conditioning could not be used because the air filter was soo smelly. SOO bad in fact that we had to stop along the way. . .just to get fresh air. Every knob was dirty and sticky, there was dried spilt coffee all over the dashboard and it was simply unbearable for a 10 hour drive. . . Horrible Experience. .Michael B.

Cleanliness: The inside of the cab had debris from shoes and some papers. There was a sign left on the floor in the bed of the truck that we did not notice until we ripped a piece of furniture when it snagged on it. Customer Service: Extremely slow and unhelpful. The wheel well on the driver side was broken and flapped into my car a couple times. The safety chains to secure the car were broken so I couldn't secure my car to the trailer other than with ratchet straps. And the driver side ratchet handle was broken and was hard to use. I was asked if i had a man to help me hook up the 6x12 cargo trailer i rented because he said he would not be able to help me. I am a 5' 2" female and brought my friend who is also a small female. I understand getting older and having health issues but you should not be renting equipment or have help at your facility. We were able to hook it up which is very heavy to lift. At that point he said since we were able to connect it I could rent it.Rose S.
