Trucks windshield wiper fluid was empty (Which sucks in the winter time), snow covering windshield, trash/wrappers inside truck. Do they even check this stuff?! The trailer needs a tongue jack. If the guy renting us the trailer wasn't there to put it on the hitch, we would not be able to lift the trailer tongue.Janet H.

Just a little unclear of where to go / what to do once I arrived. Tried online check-in, but couldn't find the truck. Had to go Inside and ask around. Had to go through manual check-in anyway though I was trying to social distance.Joey M.

No one at the location knew much about how to handle U-Haul rentals. I had to retrieve and load the appliance dolly and furniture blankets from their storage area myself instead of it already being in the truck. The 24/7 app didn't work correctly and the reservation said that there was no equipment for me at that location when I arrived. The CS person said that it timed out 15 min before my rental was supposed to start but I've never heard that for my other U-Haul rentals. It took almost an hour to fix everything and complete the rental. The CS rep stayed with me the whole time and worked with me until it was done which I really appreciated. Just a poor start of the rental for some reason but we got it worked out.Dwayne R.
My reservation time was at 11 am on Saturday May 23,2020. I didn't receive my rental until after 12 :30. Because the u-haul Representative wasn't there until then. Also I had asked over the phone when I made my reservation that I needed a furniture truck or what ever it's called the only thing he had was a small hand dolly. I was really disappointed in this experience. Also there was dog hair all over the passenger seat. Thank youshelby S.

The employee was new and gave me one quote but when received my equipment it was $40 more than what I was quoted over the phone for what I needed. Once I left with my rental it came disconnected from my vehicle causing me to drag trailer by safety chains and have to pull over safely to attempt getting it hooked up by myself. Once I came to a stop the trailer SLAMMED into back my vehicle and loosen my tailpipe and cause me to have this constant noise/issue with rear of my vehicle. Had to call the uhaul store and have employee come help me get trailer hooked back up due to the weight I couldn't do it myself. He said I would be taken care of with the fees (basically free rental) and use it as long as I need it. I am hoping he holds true to no charge for my rental due to his mistake and any money off my card gets refunded upon turn in.Amy C.

I was supposed to pickup in Martinsville VA. I got there and they said the trailer had been stolen months ago and I world have to call Uhaul and straighten it out. I then went to Uhaul site at boost mobile in Collinsville Va to see if they had a trailer. There was on sitting there but the girl working told headquarters it was snowed in and they couldn't get to it, which was a lie. I was looking at it! So headquarters then sent me to a town 45 mins away to get a trailer. This all cost me an extra 4 hours after I had driven 3 hours from out of town. The Stuart VA location was wonderful! I would not recommend picking up a Uhaul rental in Martinsville, Va!Zane G.

Put a sign on the door that the office is NEXT DOOR... I stood at an empty building waiting for someone to show up. I finally called U-haul customer service number & they could not reach anybody. I finally walked next door to see when the U-Haul office opens. Come to find out, they were the office. There were NO signs up stating they rented U-Haul. The address is not correct.terry D.

When I drop off the uhaul, the lady inside didn't come to look at the uhaul or tell me of any extra balance I might have owed for mileage instead she just said to me ok and to have a nice day. So now Uhaul is charging extra late fees for a balance owed that I was told nothing about when I dropped it off.Justin B.

The uhaul dealer was kind. However getting the rental was a complete nightmare. We got emails saying our trucks we're guaranteed and they weren't so the girl gave us a discount for our trouble but we were supposed to get a uhaul at 9am and got one at 8pm an hour and a half away. It's a horrible fleet system and really ruined our move. We have two autistic children and this uhaul experience ruined so much for their day too. It's horrible. I'll never recommend uhaul and want a full refund for this mess. Who guarantees trucks and doesn't have them? Uhaul.Kay B.

Never contacted for final details. Received email stating that Uhaul would guarantee truck available at a location 35 minutes away from me. There were 0 trucks at that location. Uhaul dealer called the customer service center, when I spoke to rep she was asking me to pay more than I had set up the reservation for and to drive 45 minutes in the other direction to get a 26' truck. We finally came to an agreement after walking her through the customer based reservation and showing her the pricing difference. Drove to get truck...I had reserved a hand dolly as well...location had no hand dolly. Unbelievable. I personally believe that Uhaul should refund my entire balance paid. This will be the last time I use Uhaul and I will make sure that I tell everyone the deplorable customer service that I was given.Sean M.

They were not aware I was dropping truck off. They were of no help when I told them I was an out of town move and they charged me for extra miles. This location is better than the first but overall serious attention needs to be given to these places.Anna D.

We've used this drop-off location twice now and both times have been good experiences. The staff is friendly and helpful, making the process painless.Cynthia J.
The rental rep at W&W was efficient, organized, respectful, thoughtful and engaged. He is the only reason I would go through Uhaul again. Equipment was clean but tie down rails inside were missing bolts making them partially unusable for tying down furniture. The issue was not obvious until we tried to use them and the Rental rep did not know prior to our rental. Uhaul (the company) changed my reservation 6 hours after my pickup for no reason and changed my drop off location and payment amount without my consent. I've had issues with Uhaul (the company) every single time I've rented from them. If it weren't for the local reps who actually rent the trucks and do all the work for them I wouldn't use Uhaul again. You can trust W&W produce to rent from and I highly recommend them. But Uhaul as a company sucks donkey balls and doesn't deserve to benefit from the hard working local reps who have to continually fix the mistakes the company makes. Get it together Uhaul.audra T.
