The truck hadn't been swept, had broken glass in it. Also, it was low on oil. However it was a good experience, owner was very pleasant and truck ran fine for the duration of rental. I recommend more attention to maintenance.

This location is primarily a storage rental facility so equipment rental is a subsidiary business. The small office was predictably not customer friendly. Though I had been instructed at the pickup location to turn it in here, the attendant knew nothing about it and expressed concern that "I wish they would stop doing that". He also had lots of equipment on-site but rather than send me to another site, he was very accommodating and flexible and found a way to store my trailer. Very smooth and simple turn-in process.

The location of drop off was changed late in the day on Wednesday. It was luck that when we arrived the personnel were on-site as we would have had to wait until 9am, whereas the original location was open at 8. Then we were told we were going to be charged an extra day because we were 20 minutes late on drop off, which we actually weren't considering the time it took to drive across town and locate furniture pads. The staff was able to change it and we were only charged $2.80 but it was still an inconvenience due to U-Haul's logistics error, not ours. Also the location for drop off was cramped, and we had very little room to park the truck. Otherwise the check in was quick and easy.

The tow hitch developed a problem along the route. I was able to get it back on the rode with a temporary repair and made it to the hotel. When I called the service line, it was at least a 20 minute wait to talk to a rep, but when the road service person arrived he was able to do rig a better solution that got me the rest of the way to my destination.

I was told I would have to go to Huntsville to pick up a truck because the owner could not get in touch with the previous renters. I wasn’t even supposed to pick up a truck from this location which just adds to my horrible experience with Uhaul.

The staff at Watson was friendly, helpful and very professional. Watson experienced problems with the U-Haul system when checking me out, requiring several calls to the U-Haul Traffic Center. Watson's check out process was accurate. The Online reservation system was terrible. The U-haul response confirmed the 20' truck and location at the desired time of 8 AM, however a follow up Email message had a different location many miles away indicated. The prompted a phone call to U-Haul. After speaking to a customer service representative, I learned that the truck I reserved was not available until 5 PM. There appears to be problems at multiple levels with the U-Haul system.

Whole process was not very accommodating. I scheduled from a U-Haul store about 2 minutes from my house that opened at seven. The night before pick-up I received a text message sending me across town to this location with an opening time of 9 am. When I got there the equipment was not correct and required a call to some one to transfer a different truck. Then drop off in San Antonio was similar issue with the text service. I was given a list of drop off locations by the store in Bryan but got text late in the day for a drop off location that wasn't on the list I was given that location was closed and gated so there was no drop off after hours possible. I went the next morning and dropped off at one of stores on my original list. Overall not a very good experience.
