I'm afraid that I wasn't impressed. I reserved a 15' truck weeks in advance and then the day before I was to pick up I was told all they had was a 26' truck. There was something wrong with the truck. It constantly hesitated so was a very jerky ride and hard on my neck. My cousin rode with me (mechanic) and he said that he thought something was bent, perhaps an axle. Overall, not a good experience. When I am renting a vehicle I expect that vehicle to be in good working order. This was not.

This was by far my best experience with Uhaul to date and I use a lot of Uhauls :) The customer service I revived was over and above what anyone could ever expect. Exceptional!!! Moving is never fun and this experience made it a little more pleasant. Thanks you West Kootenay Self Storage :) James

I tried to rent a 5 x 8 trailer for 3 days and was unable to due to the system saying I had to take the trailer for 4 days. I was charged for 4 days and was not impressed with how the system would not let the employee input the correct information. The employee tried to call head office and they were absolutely no help. so if I wanted the trailer then I had to take it for 4 days and be charged extra money. I have rented Uhaul many times. I have never encountered this before. And the online check in process is not good at all. When I made the initial reservation on line I was quoted $89.95. confirmation number 27773449. The employee had to delete my reservation and try again to get me the correct information and amount. She was unable to get this done. I ended up paying $131. an extra $40!!! Again, not a happy customer. I am really questioning ever going back. I would really like someone to look into this and possibly contact me back.

Disappointed & shocked with U haul booking and service. I booked by phone 2 weeks in advance and reserved a trailer for a week. Two days before I was scheduled to pick it up I got a call saying the trailer I reserved was not available. Was asked if a smaller one would be ok. I said yes for the short term but that I would need the larger trailer on the third day of my week contract. I asked them if this was normally how they deal with clients and not be able to supply what was a confirmed reservation. They said a reservation does not confirm availability?! This is what shocked me, that I can have a confirmed reservation and they may not be able to deliver. How does one schedule a move on a fixed time line with U-Haul. Answer is you can’t! Too much time wasted getting the trailer off the lot, I was there an hour and a half my fist visit and wasted another hour and half swapping out trailers later in the week. This particular location was good in terms of cleanliness and they worked hard to make things better despite my disappointment with their booking process. I have no problems with this location, but reservations and administration leaves a lot to be desired by the company as a whole. Time to pull up your socks U haul.

This was, by far, the best experience I have every had at a uhaul or rental car agency. Friendly, helpful and overall absolutely superb service.

I got a rediculose charge on my credit card for doing exactly what you guys told my and you messed up once already then this .... I am not happy with your call center !!! This is not what I was trying to get !!! I am cancelling payment on my cc till this is resolved!!!!!
