First I call and confirm my booking. The guy confirmed it. Next day I went for pick up. The lady work there saying we not doing uhaul anymore. I ask what you mean. I called and confirm it . No. We not doing it any more. So I call the same no I called to confirm it. The store phone rang and the same lady answer. I said I called the same no to confirm it. I said call the guy who was here yesterday. She saying I cannot call him he is sleeping. You guys don't know how much hard time that lady give me to pick up a uhaul. At last I was begging and saying to her I have to move please call the guy. At last she call the guy. I think he said to her give me the key. No paper work. No checking the truck nothing . But I used to rent the uhaul and I know what the procedures are. So I took all the pictures of truck. All damages.everything. I truck was fully damaged. No clean . Very poor condition. I have no choice.yesterday I went to return the truck an another lady working .oh God again problem. You cannot return here. I said I rent it from here and I have to return here. There she go again in the phone calling some one ok. I got it she said . Ok. Again no paperwork or nothing. Bad experience for me. I don't understand how u guys give this store as a franchise. Never ever I don't want to deal with this anymore. I think this people don't understand moving is not an easy task. Worst experience ever .

I drove 28 miles. 4 of which were to pick up the equipment dolly I ordered that wasn’t available. I was charged $48 in gas. On a 60 gallon tank the needle moved an unnoticeable amount. Even if it did move I didn’t know where I needed to get it back to because I was given no paperwork when I checked in.

We changed drop off locations on day of drop off. When we picked up our truck we were told that 3 locations were comparable in distance to our house for drop off so we chose one. The next day we found another drop off place very close to our home. Our original drop off site could not execute the change or give us the 800 # to call .Westside express said we could drop truck there but we had to contact Uhaul to change drop off location and gave us the 800 #. Melody at Uhaul was very helpful in looking at our account and said we could change drop off locations but would be charged $10 for new drop off location. I questioned why we had to pay to drop off at a different location than first chosen. She transferred me to a "manager" who stated we couldn't drop off at Westside because they could only accommodate 2 trucks and already had two trucks. She said we could contact Westside ourselves after I told her the Westside location had already said we could drop off there. This whole process took more than 30 minutes and we wanted to drop the truck before we incurred another $14 insurance fee. So we went to Westside who only had one truck and seemed unfamiliar with the two truck limit. They quickly checked our truck for gas and mileage and we were free to go. Renting the truck was very satisfactory but returning the truck was time intensive since we changed drop off locations. The process for "drop off location changes" needs improved .

Truck was neither swept out nor clean in the cab. I had requested 40 blankets and there were only 25, that were stored in a dirty room with black mold and spiders.

The employee that helped me was knowledgeable and made sure that I had everything I needed. She checked to see that furniture pads and dollies were available. I was able to pick up my truck in less than 15 minutes. I really appreciated her positive and friendly attitude!

The truck that was at the location was not the one that I reserved. I reserved a 15 ft truck and was given a 26 ft one.

Please have the truck clean and ready when the customer arrives. Please have proper secondary equipment in the truck ready to go. We unfortunately, had to prep the truck before using it. please improve customer service. The representative at the drop off made me wait while she rang customers up at POS although I was first in line. It was as if the U-Haul customer was not important to their business as their convenience store customer.

The equipment itself was excellent. The paperwork process and customer service at this location was extremely slow and we had to re do and fill out everything we had already done online again with a person who seemed to know very little about what they were doing.

The rental contract site was giving trouble when I was trying to pick up. It may be a training problem, but the agent asked me to see if I understood the error message she was getting. It turns out it had auto-populated the form with my middle initial in place of my first name and was then complaining that some unspecified field had to have at least two characters. Bad design and it slowed me down that morning.
