Reservations were for 15' with pickup at Moneta with a dozen furniture pads. Pick up occurred 12 miles away with no pads available and it was a 20' not 15'.David E.

Trailer that was reserved was not available at the specified pickup location. Trailer was available at another location several miles away (where I picked it up). When I returned trailer to the same location as where I picked it up, Uhaul charged me extra for "wrong drop-off location". The extra charge was removed after my complaint. I did not receive any credits or discounts for my troubles due to Uhaul's errors with the "wrong pickup location". A bad experience overall.Craig N.
My trailer had broken springs. Had to return it and for not being able to use it I was charged a extra $222.00 for not dropping it off in the correct location. 3 weeks later UHaul has not helped me. Very sorry bunch.Tommu H.
Due to high availability, we have to drive about 40 minutes to pick up the UHaul. When I got to the location, we told the employee at the counter that we were picking up a UHaul. She said "oh God who sent you here?". Then she had to call someone to help find the keys. She eventually found the keys and gave them to me. I asked her how I should pay and she told me to go to another gas station down the road. She mentioned she didn't have a way for me to pay at her location. I was not going to do that, so I called UHaul customer service out of Roanoke. Trevor helped me to pay over the phone. He was very kind and helpful from the UHaul side, but the gas station pick up was less than ideal.Sean B.
THIS REVIEW REALLY ISN'T ABOUT THIS LOCATION ITS ABOUT THE U-HAUL COMPANY CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! The lady at this location was awesome. She was great. I will go see her again if for no other reason that to just talk to her and ask her out !!! I got the run around. I originally scheduled to pick up at (am at another location well the reservation was moved to another location when I got there it said it was closed didn't open till 12 noon called Uhaul direct number and they said well we will move you to another location. U-haul rep said since the reservation got moved twice they would give me a $50 credit since I had to run around so much. When I got to new location everything was ok but they didn't have the hand truck I had wanted they said no problem we have one of the bigger ones but I would have to pay the extra that it costed even though it wasn't my fault I had been moved to a location that didn't have the items I ordered. I said fine just give me what I need to get started with my move and make sure my $50 credit was on there. The guy told me me it was showing but it wouldn't come off the total until the end of the rental after my milage and stuff was figured. I said ok. WELL GUESS WHAT MY RENTAL IS COMPLETE AND MY CARD WAS CHARGED FOR THE WHOLE AMOUNT AND WAS NOT GIVEN THE $50 CREDIT i WAS TOLD BY THE U-HAUL REP i WOULD GET!!!!! i GUESS NO SURPRISE u-HAUL IS THE ONLY OPTION OUT THERE SO WHY GIVE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WHY GIVE THE CUSTOMER WHAT THEY WERE PROMISED!!!!David T.
No one there to assist in hookup. Trailer was missing light cable. Had another trailer at location right down the street but instead was sent 10 miles the other way. When I got there, there was a sign in window, at dentist be back in 2 hours. Called uhaul. Got cable off trailer and went back to original location and finally got trailer 2 hours after original pickup time. But the location had no pads which I had ordered and had to go to another location to get pads. Always have had good luck with uhaul. Very disappointed in this experience. Also was told since I had to go 45 mins to picked up trailer I would get $20 off cost. Never happenRICHARDLEE B.

Ordered in advance thru uhaul 800 number; quoted $431 plus tax for 3 day one way; arrived to be told it was $581 for 1 day; contract number in my confirmation email matched his tablet/iPad, but nothing else did. Had to spend an hour on phone with regional rep to get fixed and ultimately it was manually over-ridden. Store rep was nice but just as frustrated as me. Asked if oil and fluids had been checked and told no. Checked myself; cab interior had food crumbs and dirt in floor and cup holders.George K.

This location was horrible. I brought my truck and trailer back and pulled it into the location off to the side and out of the way. I went into the gas station to find only one person working. He didn't seem too thrilled that I was bringing my stuff back. He then asked me to pull the truck around into the grass. The parking lot was so narrow that it was impossible for me to maneuver. I tried over and over again with no success. At that point I was angry and frustrated because it honestly wasn't my job to put it where he wanted it. He then preceded to come outside to "help" when he got out to the truck he told me that he didn't know how to back the truck up with the trailer on it. This made me nervous so I videoed him just in case he caused any damage. After several attempts he got it into the spot he wanted. He got the information from the truck and then we went inside. Once inside he made me wait while he rang up sevral other customers. He would help keep a little then help customers in the gas station. This went back and forth for quite some time. At this point I was irate. I didn't verbalize my frustration I just smiled and nodded the ENTIRE time. On the inside I was SCREAMING! I was pissed. Then after he entered sevral things into his tablet he said ok I send you invoice later for extra charges. I was like woah buddy! You aren't going to charge me any extra than what Uhaul has already over charged me, so I'll continue to stand here even longer as you wait on other people until the transaction is complete. I honestly don't have any idea what kind of business U haul is running or what kind of unknowlageable people are working there but this was the rudest service ever. You don't EVER make a customer wait while you help someone else. Oh and I am still pissed for getting over charged because your company made me drive 60 miles out of my way. That is just crappy. Oh and your truck was an absolute turd and the brakes were bad. All around a terrible experience and this was my first time renting from you. I definitely won't make that mistake twice. The only good thing to say is that the gentleman at the first location was super nice, professional, and accommodating. Oh and my stuff arrived safely thanks to my husband and his excellent packing skills. I definitely won't ever use your business again.heather F.
