I want to say that the woman who worked the counter at the Wilson Rd Mini Storage location was absolutely fantastic. I want to say that the Tri-Village Self Storage location was an all around terrible experience. We arrived to get the 15 foot truck at 10AM, which I had reserved a week in advance. After the individual took 40 minutes to get us checked in with one person in line ahead of us (the movers were arriving at 11AM), he gave us the gas and mileage readings for our truck. He then told us to go outside to get the truck. There was no truck. He, nor corporate uhaul who he called, had any idea where this truck was and did not have a replacement for us which was absurd to me since I just signed an agreement stating the exact mileage and fuel of the truck. They scrambled to find the truck at the Wilson Road location and promised me a $50 discount. I have since been charged the full amount with no discount. We then had to go to the Wilson Road and complete the checkin process all over again. This also delayed our movers, who charge by the hour, and I had to pay them more than originally planned. Although the service at the Wilson Road location was fantastic and really helped us feel better about the experience, we were still delayed in our move which cost us more more money. I am disputing the charge with my card company given my experience with the Tri-Village Self Storage and will not recommend this location simply because I will not recommend anyone use uhaul after this. I have used them for three previous moves, but will not work with Uhaul again as we were lucky to find the other truck. Had we not been able to, I'm not sure how we would completed our move which had been scheduled for weeks.Corey P.

Quit sending emails in the middle of the night. And your mileage rates are outrageous. All it seems you care about is your image, not service. The agent was outstanding. False narrative that it is easier for the customer using phone. You guys have a monopoly it seems. That sucks for the consumer. You asked.Steven B.

I rented my vehicle at the Charlottesville rd store in Columbus, ohio. She gave me two days and I only needed one day. The woman at the Wilson rd didn"t give me a place in Elizabethtown. Then I received a text as to be where I should drop it off however we had already dropped it off by the time I saw it.DEBORA S.

We chose a pick up somewhere 1 mike from our house. Uhaul switched our location last second which was 6 miles from the original. This caused us to have to pay for 12 more miles than we planned on. Very upset about this and would Iike a callTanner S.

didn't have a gas cap. sent to another location to pick one up, only to be given the wrong one. was told to drive the truck without a gas cap, causing three truck to drive poorly and use more gas, that I had to place. wasted my time, gas and extra fuel cost.MARCELLA H.
I used the UHaul 24/7 feature and was supposed to pick up the truck before business hours of the facility where I was renting the truck from. The keys were not left in cab of truck where they claimed to be placed in the app, and had to wait 1 hour for the facility to open so someone could provide me the keys. On top of this, the truck was filthy inside and smelled badly. It only had 40,000 miles on it!Matthew B.

I worked with Greta at this location. She is absolutely wonderful. I called her before coming in to ask a few questions and she was extremely pleasant. So pleasant that although I found a u haul closer to my home i went out of my way to go to her location. Everything was explained thoroughly as this was my first time renting a u haul. Her service was impeccable. While in her office we began talking and got into the topic of one of her plants and she gave it to me! My first house warming gift! Moving is never ever fun but Greta was able to make the whole experience something wonderful. I will recommend everyone I know to her location.CHAD B.

This location had just a drop off box. There were no directions to park truck. It was before 3 pm on a Saturday. There should have been some one there at that time. 12 pm close is unrealistic for Saturday hours. There were already three trucks parked there.Ray M.

I called a phone number to find out where I needed to drop off the truck. The lady on the phone was rude. She sent me to the wrong place to drop off the truck. Then told me I had to take it somewhere else that was 1.3 miles away. She said I would have to pay the mileage if I was over. I just didn't think that was good business practice!KYLE L.
