Picking up a vehicle it is quite shocking to be told the gas is “about this level and try and return it to that level”. How on earth am I supposed to guess how much gas to put into a giant truck?

The truck was not clean, there was dried mud in a cabin and a back of a truck. It would also be nice to have self serve drop off available, I had to come back next day during business hours to drop off the keys. The store owner was pleasant and friendly, and was suggesting to bring the car back during business hours, however did not really mention that a self serve drop off is not available.

The truck was not loaded with what I required and the store did not have any blanket and dolly. We end up having to go which I could have done first. Also It took a long time tohave approval. All together it make us behind our day.

The staff member at this location was quite challenging to communicate with. He seemed to be entering incorrect information and confusing my details with those of the driver. Additionally, he failed to mention until the end of our interaction that there were no appliance dollies available on-site. He informed us at that point that he had removed the dolly order from the contract and then gave us the keys, directing us to the truck's location. He did not provide any guidance on how to conduct the walk-around inspection using the app or a text message link. As a result, we took our own videos and photos of the walk-around procedure once we reached the truck. It was not until we were at least 5 minutes away from the premises that we received an automated text message containing the link for the walk-around inspection. Sadly, when I briefly viewed the photos, I encountered an error message stating that I needed to be at the U-Haul address. Although I only had a quick look at the photos, I did notice that they were taken at a different location that seemed to be a vast U-Haul yard. Considering the potential for substantial fees for any damages, I would certainly have appreciated the opportunity to approve or dispute the photos if it had been offered.

Exterior of the vehicle was filthy and covered in mud, gas cap was found open when I arrived for pick up, mobile pick up took 45 minutes to work because the app was absolutely terrible. Only saving grace was the location and the people at the store were so helpful when I returned the vehicle

My rental date / time was 29th Dec, 2023 at 11:55 a.m. and my return date / time was 30th Dec 10:35 a.m.. The charge was 2 days, Unbelievable! Can someone explain to me why I was charged for 2 days (48 hours) if I had the vehicle for less than 24 hours? By the way the Conviniance Store ( U- Haul representative) open at 10:00 am

Two things. I booked a dolly and was told on checkin that you can’t actually book a dolly. I’m confused how you can take reservations for a dolly and have no way to track them. Also the gas was at a 3/4s of a tank. How am I supposed to try and refill the gas to a guess. Tanks should always be full that’s standard in all rental vehicles

When I started Up the Uhaul the flashing light on dashboard stated right tire low and to be filled promptly. The tire looked ok and I only had 5 miles to go. I informed the attendant at drop off. The equipment was clean .

I was quoted $.79/km but paid $1.27. I did not notice this until after the receipt was emailed to me. Seemed sneaky to me. Was not significant money so it's only about the principle.

The location hours. Opening earlier would've allowed some support with a frozen lock or a place to warm up in -18 C weather, but otherwise it was a very good experience once I was able to access the truck. Friendly service. Would definitely use these services again!

WE VISITED ANOTHER U-HAUL LOCATION FOR DROP OFF PRIOR TO THIS ONE AND BOTH NO ONE WAS THERE!!! WE THEN HAD TO DRIVE ACROSS THE WHOLE CITY TO THIS LOCATION WHICH PUT US WAY BEHIND SCHEDULE!! AND THEN U-HAUL HAS THE AUDACITY TO CHARGE ME $42 FOR BEING LATE!! THATS FUCKIN BULLSHIT IF YOUD HAVE ADVERTISED THAT WE COULD DROP OUR TRUCK THERE THEN AT LEAST HAVE SOMEONE THERE. I DEMAND A REFUND OF THE $42!

First thing is the app didn't work, (Asked me to take a selfie, and it wouldn't let me). I did have to contact U-haul by phone and the assistant was very helpful. There should be instructions specific to each location. (I.e where to leave the key if you are returning after hours). When i did return the vehicle, i was informed that the fuel amount was not sufficient, even though i showed a picture of the fuel gage when i picked up the vehicle and also when i returned it. Again, i was not able to verify the fuel amount as the app didn't work. It would be better if you had to fill the tank all the way instead of trying to estimate where the gage should be. I will consider other options when i need a moving vehicle.

The service at the store was exceptional. U-haul's system, however, seems to have plenty of margin for improvement. I tried to rent a 15-footer (standard) truck 2 weeks earlier and it was not possible.I settled for 10-footer, but when we arrived in the store, there was a 15-footer parked and locked. It was not available in the system.

I did everything on line and the location still tried to redo all the work. A quick key grab and drop took 15 minutes each time after doing it all online. No point in using the online tool.

The only complaint I have is that I booked it for Thurs 6pm to Fri 6pm and when I got there to pick it up he told me I needed to have it back by 10pm that night, that is was booked for someone else for the next day. I told him I booked it for 24 hours and that the people helping me load weren't even coming until the next morning. At that point he should have just realized they made a booking error and dealt with it after I left, he argued with me about it too much. In the end he said I could have it for the 24 hours but it should have gone smoother than it did.
