This comment is for management. During my 750 mile move, I was disappointed management try to hold me responsible for placing their 15' truck at a location, a 2 hour drive (Escanaba) from my destination. Managements' reasoning was of 7 locations in and near the Marquette area, none where available. I called U-Haul after unloading the truck, and made arrangements to drop the truck off in Ishpeming, a 20 minute drive. Please accept responsibility. Thanks.William M.

the trailer had tires unsae for the road...called the 1800 number the next day and the issue was corrected. Could have been an issue if we had left right away and had a blowout on the roadDOUGLAS E.

They seemed more anxious to go home (was 4:30, and they closed at 5:00) then help me out. Their computer was extremely slow (took over a half hour to fill out the paperwork! Then, our hitch had the wrong size ball. So we asked them if they had a 2â€ ball... to sell me? But, they said no, and didn't want to help! So we had to go to Autozone and buy a ball, change it & go back to their shop after hours to get the tow-dolly ! I was an hour from home and needed to rent the tow dolly for my boss to tow my broke down car home. But, the whole process turned into a 3 HOUR ORDEAL!!!Steven T.

Nothing for the locations. The drop online program is good but could be better. The process never asked me about the furniture pads and dolly I rented...only the trailer. I had never used this feature before. I assumed that after the trailer was checked in as a return the program would ask about the other rental items. It did not. This was a little confusing. Personnel was not friendly or personable. In our past experiences with uhaul, we've always been given extra days free of charge due to unforeseen circumstances. This has always impressed me. This time, however, we were charged for just one extra day, when our house wasn't ready to move into yet.Corey H.
The exterior of the truck was dirty. The office location where I rented the truck was old and there were flies flying around everywhere. I ordered a dozen furniture blankets but only received 10 and then was charged $12.84 to replace the two missing blankets that I never received.Andrew R.

The original email confirmation instructed us to pick up a 5 x 8 at Berlin, Ohio. We called to change to a 4 x 8. Then on 07/16/18 a second email was sent with an address in Millersburg, Ohio. We were already traveling without a computer. The on line preregistration did not go well. Error message said there was a problem on your end. Finally, only a 5 x 8 was available. Location had issues with trying to complete my rental agreement. They needed to call to have it finished. You can quit sticking it to someone on 1-way rentals for a trailer.Greg W.

These people didn't know how to check me out so they cancelled the reservation I made online and started all over after wasting 20min trying to figure it out. They didn't know of how to apply the $50 certificate on me order. They told me to call uhaul, uhaul told me to give my $50 certificate to the person at the drop off location, this person told me he couldn't do it and I had to call uhaul, I called uhaul again, uhaul told me someone was call me later, and this person also told me he couldn't do it either. UHAUL DOESN'T HONOR WHAT HTEY ADVERTISE. Penske or Budget is the way to go next time.YVAN D.

When I made the reservation online I selected an appliance dolly along with the 17 foot truck. When I came to pick-up the truck, the transaction was complete before I was told they did not have an appliance dolly. I had to drive several miles out of my way to get an appliance dolly. This was very frustrating. This just added more stress to a stressful day. I was charged a little more for mileage on the drop off too.Brian S.

Have the equipment available at the location requested when ordering online. I have used the online service twice and twice I was given notice the day before pickup that I will have to drive across town to a different location than requested. No one was at the shop when we were told to come pick up our trailer. A sign was posted on the shop door with a phone number to call. Had to wait approx 30 minutes for the attendant to arrive. Once he showed up, he told me that he was not the one that typically processed these requests on the computer. Finally, another attendant came in (approx 10 minutes later) and it was apparent that he was the one in the know. Overall, this could have been a 15 minute pickup...it ended up being over an hour. Equipment was not available at the time I requested which delayed my move. Staff was polite. Suggestion: Have equipment ready upon opening or at least inform the customer at the time the reservation is made if that time is available or not so they can make an informed decision if they want to proceed with the reservation.Desiree B.

i was overcharged for fuel, i was told to bring it back the way i got it and it was half way filled so that is how i brought it, i was then charged $47 for fuel...and i was given a wrong number to call to get it fixed, i don't see how this is a hard thing to fix... i was also not given a contract of any kind, i did not know that it was neededCRAIG K.
