Very straight forward, drive in drop off no problem
BRADLEY CThis location is a long way from my home and it is compounded with the road construction. This is not the fault of this location. The staff were very friendly and professional. The trailer was well maintained and was available at the designated pick up time. Absolutely no complaints!
Doug DThis is the worst service ever. I had an appointment at 9:30, but the company employee overslept. Even when we called to wake him up, he did not admit to being an employee of the company. After 40 minutes, someone who was probably his acquaintance came and barely managed to resolve our issue. But when we returned for the auto trailer, it was a complete nightmare. Luckily, my husband used to work as a driver and knows how to attach a trailer. He did everything himself, hooked up the trailer, loaded the car, and secured it. The company employee was nowhere to be found during this time. Later, we struggled to find the company employee and asked him to check the hitch and car securement. He replied that he had no idea how to do it. I just don't understand how they can operate this way. What kind of safety can we talk about? What if this was done by someone who had never done it before?

Shauna TThe only thing I am not happy about is we asked to pu at inkster location & the closest location was in headingley. It cost us at least $40 in gas just picking up & returning truck.

Mariah Jon line booking system was a disaster in that the trailer I ordered was supposed to be at the McPhillips location for 8:00am. When I got there, it wswhat I wanted not there. They told me I had to go to headingley as the trailer had defects and I needed a different trailer. I went to the Headingley location and they made me give them all the same information I gave them on line 3 days earlier. So there was absolutely no savings in booking on line. Luckily, Pattie and Baldy at the Headingley location were great and they got me on my way with a trailer in due course. But the on line booking system leaves a lot to be desired.

Blair WThe online ordering is convenient but chaotic - possibly because it was the start of a summer month and a long weekend so the location where the trailer was available was only confirmed by phone afterwards - a bit odd. Then i received an email confirming my initial trailer at a different location even though i was told by the phone salesperson that no trailer was available at that first location. confusing. This location in Headingley was great - very courteous, and helpful and easy to access with lots of room to backup a trailer.

Greg TUhaul changed my pickup location to be in an entirely different town. I had to drive 45 minutes to pick up the trailer versus the 10 minutes I would have driven with my originally chosen location. Then when I picked up the trailer, the lights weren't working and the door wouldn't close because the ice hadn't been cleared away from it. Very unhappy with my overall experience with Uhaul.
Alison HNo one was there to help us at our appt time. When they showed up they seemed to not know what was going on. Truck was dirty and the door was Iced shut. There was unnecessary and unrequested equipment in the truck, blankets and a trolley which were in oir way.
Jason DThis is not the fault of the authorized dealer. This has everything to do with terrible uhaul customer service and lack of training towards their dealers. The tires were bald and in winter driving conditions something like that needs to be checked. It was also indicated that we needed a truck within the city as we had no vehicle or way of getting out to headingly, when this was relayed to the customer service rep she said “i don’t know, make friends” as a way of getting out there to be able to pick up the truck. Uhaul has become an absolute joke.
AVERY YShow up and had to wait 10 minutes for staff member to get out of the bathroom. They them had to find the Uhaul ipad. Then it wasn't charged. The trailer was in the snow and had to shovel out. The knob to tighten the hitch was frozen. Staff member could get it loose. I ended up hitting it with a hammer to get loose. The back back latch was also frozen and had to be hit with hammer. After leaving, I drove the trailer to my house (15 miles away) and discover a flat tire because one of the brakes was iced up and tire didn't spin entire drive. I ended up using my van for multiple trips instead of the trailer because the trailer was getting repaired. I still had to return the trailer. I was told I would get a refund, but it never happened..... A couple days later I book a trailer again. I showed up at 5:45 PM (the location was supposed to be open until 6) The place was locked. I banged on the door, but no one was there. This really screwed me over. I rent from uhaul at least 10 times a year. This is the absolute worst location. I will never book with them again. Which sucks because they are one of the closest locations to where I live. I will also continue to tell everyone I know that this location is an absolute joke and screwed me over 2 times in a row.
ALEXANDER SThe whole online booking process is weird, even with a lot of detail info on the website. When I booked a trailer for longer than 3 days, I was informed that someone would call within 24 hours to confirm. With no call coming, trying to call the locations is impossible. No one answers the phone. So I went to one location that guaranteed the equipment, signed a contract with them, only to be told to go to this location to pick it up. Confusing!

Jean PThe people at this location were awesome. However the unit rented had a door that wouldn’t close once opened. I had to remove the cable from the upper spring in order to close it. Also I wanted a one way and haul was unable to provide one. I had to take a local rental and return it to the same location. This caused me to have to travel back from sk to return it!! NOT IMPRESSED! The last time I booked a trailer for a move it was that the location when I arrived and the people at that location couldn’t provide me with what I needed. I never ended up with a trailer!! AGAIN NOT IMPRESSED! Uhaul needs to do better!!
Darrell BI want to start by saying the pickup location was fine, but it’s the last place I would’ve picked due to the fact it was the complete opposite side of the city from where I initially wanted my pickup to be. I’m very unhappy with the customer service representative I spoke to on the phone, I explained to her that the website said there was a truck available at my requested pickup location when I booked it online. I got an email 3 days prior to moving saying there were in fact, no trucks available at that location and the only available rental was the opposite end of the city adding more than tripling the distance and doubling my cost. The short notice left me with no choice but to go with Uhaul despite the inconvenience. I called customer service and the woman I spoke to wasn’t receptive to my problem and brushed me off saying tough luck, you want the rental or not? There isn’t anything else available in the city. The speed she responded with, led me to believe there’s no way she could’ve checked that. At the very least she could’ve double checked and been a little more sympathetic.

Evan CThe trailer was fine, BUT the fact that the pickup and delivery point was changed 4 (FOUR) times and then the final pickup and delivery location was 2 (TWO) hours both ways is not acceptable. Having to drive a total of 4 (FOUR) hours total is very discouraging, with the price of gas very poorly time management on the booking dept. Also dealing with the Manager on this matter was a waste of time.

Darcy LPassenger side trailer tire looked low when I picked it up. I asked if tire pressures were good. They walked around the trailer kicked each tire and said “your good to go” Later that day I check tire pressure and it is below 30 lbs. I inflate to recommend 60 lbs. Next morning check tire pressure it’s below 30 lbs. Phone Uhaul who sends me to Kal tire to get tire changed. Approximately 3 hours later I get out of there and and start my 20 hour drive 3 hours late. This could have been avoided if location would have actually checked the tire pressure. I was going through mountains to West coast so was not taking a chance on tire losing 30 lbs in a few hours.

Colin CDriving back to Headingly to drop off our truck took over an hour & 1/2! With gas prices the way they are, that was totally ridiculous! Why was it not possible to drop it off at the Waverley location? There is something fishy about that, I’m Sure!
