The few times that we have rented at this location, I have found the female attendant to be easy enough to deal with. Every time I have been there, the csr was on personal calls that they continued while checking me out, I didn't know if she was talking to me or someone on the phone, it gets quite confusing. On this occasion of this rental, the gentleman that demanded the truck keys, upon return, was extremely rude and aggressive in his speech and behavior. My wife is a local realtor and we rent trucks on a regular basis, and up until now, I had always considered this place adequate yet a bit quirky. After this rental, we will definitely be taking our business elsewhere. I have never rented something, brought it back on time, and been treated more rudely by someone that's directly profiting from my business. Luckily, I'm in a town with plenty of alternate vendors that will be glad to have our business and understand the concept of customer service.Benjamin B.
My first GUARANTEED uhaul rental reservation turned out to not have the Uhaul available that I had selected and paid for weeks in advance. They did not have any Uhaul available for that matter. That left me scrambling to find another vendor and I ended up having to go down in truck size which did not provide enough room for all my intended things. Then the new vendor knew nothing about a virtual check in and after hours process so I had to come in when the shop was open for her to give me the keys and check me in. The shop opened at 8 AM but the Uhaul rep was not available until 9 AM. The check in process was slow because she had issues with her tablet. This pushed me farther behind and late getting to my movers whom I was paying by the hour. The Uhaul rep could also not provide me with the cover pads I had paid for to rent so I went down in the number of them I could receive. The truck had fan belt issues while driving.Jeniece C.

The place was not very customer friendly. The staff seemed very annoyed throughout the whole ordeal over multiple days. The experience was very unpleasant but I can't deny that the truck was actually incredibly clean so they had that working for them at leastJOSEPH H.

I would never recommend this location for renting a U-Haul. The truck was overall clean, but parked in a muddy area and had mud splattered on the outside in places which really wasn't a big deal. The big deal was that I had 3 dozen moving blankets in my order and was told when I got there that "we don't ever have blankets." I thought my rental was guaranteed. I've had rented from U-Haul probably a dozen times in the past and never had this problem. When I asked what I was supposed to do, her response was "what do you want me to do?" I said find me some blankets from another U-Haul location in Statesboro and her response was "we don't do that, you will have to contact them yourself." Not exact stellar customer service.Dennis C.

I was accosted verbally for even bringing the truck back here. They should lose their uhaul certificate. I had to take to another wisdom location. The owner verbally went nuts. I have never come so close to calling 911. I was refused a check in or a receipt to process my return.PHILLIP O.
Only problem I had was â€¦ I returned truck gas was past 3/4 toward full tank. I was charged $94.00 for an entire tank of gas. ??? This doesn't seem right . VERY unprofessional employees are not there at 8:00am to pick up Uhaul. THERE was about five people there waiting to check in and we all needed to do it on the phone. TOOK ME UNTIL 930am to even get in a truck and I was there at 8am. Cussing from employees and complaints that others employees do not assist one another. I initially request Billy's imports and pick up for Saturday July 31. I was never contacted about scheduling the pick-up or that the office would be closed on Saturday. I called them on Wednesday and was supposed to have a pick up for Friday. When I arrived on Friday there was no truck available. I had to locate another truck at Wisdom Tires. This drop off location was the third one I was given. The first location did not exist, and was a 20 min drive from my location. The second location I was given was 39 min away & was closed. I called number on door- no response. I found the third location for drop off myself and was able to leave vehicle there. This added 69 miles & over an hour to my day. I arrived at this location to pick up the UHaul truck and the associate who helped me entered the wrong city for me to drop-off the Uhaul and told me incorrect information about drop-off. When I got the key to the truck, IT DID NOT WORK. She literally did not have the key to the truck I had already paid for, so I had to use a smaller truck which did not fit everything I needed. She was handling personal business with friends and family and acted as if I wasn't even there. She asked ME to inspect the truck to see if the keys matched. It took her forever to just call Uhaul herself. I was there for AN HOUR AND A HALF before I could even leave. And the truck that I left with, which again was smaller than what I was promised, was nearly out of gas. I had to fill it, and call Uhaul repeatedly to try and get my order changed so that I had the right truck listed and so I could change the drop-off city. It was such a hassle and a pain every step of the way. DO NOT GET A UHAUL FROM HERE.Brianna A.

My first two reservations I made did not come through. They were both uhaul distributors and when I came to pick up they rented out the truck I ordered from underneath me. I went 35 miles to and back so 70 miles total and I filled up the gas and left it clean however I was charged a extra $100 and I added the .99cent per mile and it still isn't $100. I didn't ask for any insurance on the truck while driving in fact I said no to insurance so where did my money go?Mia D.

Truck was rented to me with no gas in tank, back of the truck was nasty and unclean also old boxes from someone else moving was left in truck. Truck smelled of marijuana and cigarettes. Queen size bed cover that was order online to put over my mattress to keep it clean was never given or put in the truck. Customer service was terrible and inside of business is not kept to a good standard. I have pictures of everything listed I would have rather took my belongings in my car or paid some one to put it on the back of there truck before I rent from here again they are just that nasty. And they are not complying with Georgia covid-19 regulations . No mask, not enforcing social distancing.Dante D.

The truck was picked up with less than a quarter tank of gas... I had to hitch the trailer myself nobody was around to help...my reservation was for one day they booked me for four instead and they overcharged me my quote was for $300 and some change they ended up billing me $500 plus...the dollie wasn't what I wanted and the sheets I ordered could not be used they were filthy with oil...halfway through the move we found out they gave us the wrong vehicle tow this list of complaints could go on forever but I can honestly say I will never again use uhaulricco F.

I had to argue with the proprietor to leave the truck at that prearranged location. She initially said she had no room for the truck and tried to send us elsewhere. Eventually as we were leaving she suddenly found a space for the truck.HERBERT G.
Need to get all customer service representative's on the same page. I was told several different things. I will never rent from u-haul again . They charged me for another day. Never did a check out on the truck. Charged me 14.00 dollars for insurance I never agreed to, estimated the wrong miles for my trip. I could go on but why bother. This was a one way rental. I rented a 5x8 trailer and delivered to the correct location. I was charged $40 for a wrong way destination charge anyway. I called and the owner barely speaks English. She said she would check into it and call me and hung up before asking for my number.Scarlett W.
Quicker check in. Initially this was not where I rented from. The place I went to pick up my rental was closed I waited 15 minutes then called U-Haul. I was sent to this location. It took the lady more than 15 minutes to finish paperwork. She then sent me to another location to get the truck.Lori J.

The individual I returned the uhaul to was rude and had trouble customer service. She lied like I turned the vehicle in kste when I turned it in 14 hours early. These were all the things concerning when I picked up the vehicle... I'd suggest quality control of UHaul vendors. >> The vehicle was not ready at the scheduled time of pickup >> The customer service representative could not answer questions regarding the charges being made during the check out process. >> No paperwork/receipt was provided after receiving the key to the vehicle to inform me of the fuel amount, the terms of the rental, the drop-off location, etc... This had to be found through my mobile phone. >> The vehicle was not cleaned. I had to wipe down the interior of the cab and sweep out the back of the vehicle. >> the windshield of the truck was full of bugs and debris from the previous use >> the gas level reported in the system (from my mobile phone checkout) did not match the level the vehicle was received.Jeffrey K.
