The lot was not plowed very well. I have pictures. The truck only had quarter of a tank of gas on pick up. The Mobil process took me over an hour. Please let me know if you want pictures of the lotSusan H.

I had to drive an hour to get this trailer, you have done this to me the last 3 rentals, driving over an hour to pick up a trailer is poor at best, especially the 24 hour before phone call surprising (not really anymore) you with you need to drive over 2 hours round trip to pick up a trailer for a next day departure. Like I said in the first one I would not recommend this location to nobody. I was treated badly I was threatened that they was going to call the police and report the truck stolen. They wanted the truck Thursday evening. And I told them no it wouldn't be available and back there until 9 o'clock Friday morning. He treated me rude he treated my husband rude. And threatening both of us. And if this is the way U-Haul treats their customers I will not recommend them to nobody not U-Haul specially.mark G.

I had to pick my vehicle up using your app. The customer service rep who assisted me with that yawned through our entire conversation, was not pleasant, indicated several times that it was not your system that was slow - it was on my end, and never apologized for the fact that it took me ONE HOUR to pick up my vehicle!!ANGELAM G.

My husband and I have rented UHaul trucks and trailers dozens of times throughout the country, as we have lived many places. We have also helped move our adult children many times throughout the years. We have always, in the past, been happy with the service offered as we have been met with courtesy and assistance. We have always given high ratings in our reviews. We are in our 70's and my husband suffers from Parkinson's and has lost much of his strength. We rented a 6x12' UHaul trailer for our son to use during his move to Plattsburgh, NY. We added an extra day just to be sure we wouldn't go over our rental time, making our agreement 5 days instead of 4. It was to be returned on Saturday morning by 9:00. We were not told that there would be an after-hours fee of $20. Our problem and first criticism of this dealership was when we went to pick up the trailer. Cody, an employee, lifted the trailer onto the receiver which had a ball that was too large. He took it off and we replaced the receiver with a ball that was too small. He said it should work but would be better if we had a 2â€ ball. We said that we would go get one and asked if he would help us put the new ball on the receiver. He said no, that he didn't have a wrench that was large enough. He also said that he didn't want to lift it again because it was hurting his back. We had no further discussion with Cody at that time. We kept the trailer on with the smaller ball and drove to a nearby Tractor Supply and bought a new drop receiver with an attached 2â€ ball. We used our truck jack and managed to change the receiver ourselves back home. When we returned the trailer, we were there shortly after 4:00 on Friday and no one made their presence known to us. The shop doors were all closed and we worked for at least a half an hour removing the trailer from the truck. We were able to find cinder blocks and a board in the weeds to help prop the trailer. We used our jack to get it lifted off, leaving the tongue propped on cinder blocks. Our main criticism and outrage at the Geneseo, NY UHaul Dealership came when Rebecca went in on Monday morning (Aug. 30) to ask why we were charged a $20 late fee, after returning the trailer on Friday, a day early. Cody told us that he had been there until after 4:00 on Friday, but the UHaul hours only went until 3:00. It is not open on Saturday or Sunday. Cody said that the charge was an after-hours charge and that it didn't matter that we had brought it back early. I told him I thought that was unreasonable. I also added that I thought it was unreasonable that he couldn't have helped us put the trailer on after we bought a new receiver. He angrily shouted,â€ I don't give a shit about what you say, you're a liar and if you ever came back here again, I'm gonna call the police!â€ Please address this. We are outraged by the language and treatment! My husband had considered renting a smaller trailer to help move the rest of our son's things, but not only do we â€œnot want to get arrested,â€ we would never go back there again anyway. Not to recommend this drop off location. There was pallets of tools (that some person, not owner) was trying to sell. This location is very trashy. You would not know it was a U haul dealer if it wasn't for the sign!KENNETHJ P.
Wise was excellent! Julie at Julies flowers in Conesus,Ny was terrible. I confirmed my reservation the day before on her voicemail, she returned my call later that day but neglected to tell me my pick up time was at 12 o'clock sharp, only her store hours which was closing at 6 o'clock. When I went to pick up my truck at 1:45 it was no longer available ,leaving me without a truck moving my son to college. I was never made aware of the 15 minute late policy on reservation cancellations. I Was forced to pick up a truck half the size I needed at a different location 20 miles from my home.ANTHONY F.

Customer service from U-Haul. Talked with someone from 1-833 number and they told me there would be no service fee and I got my receipt and there was. Also got charged for a bigger truck then what I asked for because they could not get me the size I wanted yet they didn't discount.Connor M.

Ensure that the truck isn't blocked in, I called the previous day and let the location know I was reserving said truck. Ensure that your trucks are clean. I spent 45+ mins sweeping the cargo area before I could load the truck.Christopher K.
