The online process was not to my liking. I am not James Bond and do not want to work remotely with secret service. I want the person I contact on the phone to be able to take care of my transaction. I do not want your phone application. I want to see a person at a counter. I want #s with a lockbox given to me over the phone or in person. I a not ready to trust facial recognition technology with either mine or your equipment and will not use it again.Mark L.

The Wise Moving Staff is rude. The 6x12 trailer is extremely heavy and no jack in trailer tongue requiring me to use my own dolly jack to take the trailer off my vehicle...... which seemed a bit dangerous. I went 1.5 hrs into a fourth day and was charged for a full day's rental. Trailer pulled like it had square wheels.Michele M.

I ordered moving pads that were not present at mobile pick up. There was existing exterior damage to vehicle not shown in pick up photos (I added my own dispute photos). The vehicle needed gas immediately, which was an inconvenience since I already had to go home first to get the necessary moving blankets and made me late to pick up my item to move. Resulted in a 45 minute delay in pick up. Vehicle interior looked clean but did not smell clean. Wished I had hand sanitizer with me. Still waiting for a receipt to show the credit/refund of the moving pads, or anything at all. I entered my credit card information at least three times, with varying totals, so I still don't know what I was charged overall for this rental. Also would've been nice to have an attached E-Z ramp on a shorter truck. I only moved one item but needed a ramp, so had to upgrade to a larger truck and spend more money. I appreciate the mobile pick up option, as my pick up was after office hours; however, in this situation apparently I needed someone on site to rectify the missing products I pre-paid for.Stacy J.

My Service rep was very helpful and answered the hitch questions I had. Only issues I had was using the U-haul.com site and find the procedure to leave the trailer off after hours. I ended up just writing a note on my contract with my name, date and time & location on the lot I unhitched the trailer and placed it in the key drop. This was much easier than filling out forms on the app. My final invoice was emailed & confirmed I was only charged for 1 day rental vs. 2 day estimated.Randall N.

Super Kind and helpful owner. FYI, the truck had a pretty hard pull to the right. It needs a tire or and alignment. 720 miles with no cruise control makes this annoying. Otherwise, it was fine.eric N.
I rented the 6x12 enclosed trailer and was told if after hours to just drop it off. The problem was due to the weight of the trailer it is almost impossible for 1 person to lift it off the tongue. Luckily one of the workers was working late and brought there lift over to help. This needs to be explained to customers up front so it can be planned.Vincent W.

The van I rented was very dirty. Might I suggest soap , water and wash mitt go along way. The inside was very filthy. Just getting off covid I would like to think that the rentals would be cleaned. The van didn't like it had been cleaned since it was purchased.Christian P.

The location is okay (although the parking lot has a ton of large pot holes). However, the box truck I rented was in horrible condition and needed a lot of repairs. Some of the issues included: The entire car shook when driving. The E-brake made a very loud buzzing sound when on (so loud that it hurt your ears), making it unusable. The back sliding door (to the cargo area) was nearly impossible to close. I don't know if it was rusted or just old, but it would barely close and it took 2 people's strength to get it shut. Once shut, the lock was finicky and half the time wouldn't stay down. There was also someone's old padlock and chain on the handle of the door and the chain part was sharp, meaning there was less room to pull down on the handle. The breaks on the truck were squeaking every time you pressed them.Emma O.

I was unable to get the gas cap off on the 26' truck. After time to reflect there was probably a wrench to use in the truck but it would have been easier if someone walked through any intricacies of the truck that is not normal vehicle practices.Joshua D.
the self pick up app asked me if the truck was clean, and i said no. i attached oictures of it. then, when i returned it i also said no. and then, i was chatged a cleanup fee! the woman at the front dwsk said she would reverse it, but it still charged me. shit system.Anthony foster A.

Large deep pothole covering 75% of entrance. Windshield seal strip held on with 1 piece of tape which came loose within 5 minutes of being on highway & was slapping against the side & top to van; leaving windshield not secure. This is a huge safety issue. The women at the desk were very nice and pleasant.Kimberly T.

The entire reservation process was terrible. I booked at one location and was never made aware that my reservation would actually be at a different location. U-Haul wasted my time. The online checkin was also slow. It took > 10 minutes to even get a response to start the process.Scott G.

I reserved an 8' pick up truck to haul my pop up camper. I was concerned that I was not going to get exactly what I needed so that I could haul it so I called the day before to verify what I would get. On the phone they confirmed that the 8' truck had the appropriate hitch receiver and wiring harness for my trailer. They also confirmed that the truck would be ready the following day when I reserved it. However when I showed up they said that the truck had been rented, and had been rented for over a month because someone was using it as a work truck and there wasn't any way to get it back. They offered a 10' for the same price but it didn't have the correct hitch ball so I was upgraded to a 15' truck for same price as the 8' truck. The customer service at the store was great but it was ridiculous that I called the day before and was essentially guaranteed that the 8' truck I reserved was going to be there and then had to drive an empty 15' truck to tow my camper.Luke S.

Have the reserved equipment unhooked and ready to go. Still quicker than most uhaul checkouts! When I returned it I backed it into a parking spot ready for someone to back up, hook up and go....maybe 5 min instead of the 15 for me.Justin C.

When the person checking us out mentioned that we could just pull up and leave the keys in the drop box when we dropped off at our destination we didn't even think about a fee being charged for dropping off "after hours", especially when she told us we had the van for 24 hours. I know I should have read the contract more closely, but I was shocked that we were only allowed 45 miles for a one way trip to Lawrence which didn't even get us to our destination. I would have appreciated her going over the contract to point out that we would be charged 40 cents per mile over the 45 miles given. I was shocked with the additional charges at the end of the day.Timothy P.

Location was Confused and crazy, the unit leaked badly and all our stuff got wet and one of the tires would not hold air. We had to stop every hour all the way on our 13 hour drive. The tire made the trailer unsteady and it would start swaying and shimmying, pullling our truck all over the road. It was dangerous but we could not get help since it was Sunday. And we reserved a dolly but they did not have one when we picked up the trailer so we had to carry all the heavy items by hand. We both have dad backs and this was very difficult. Why ask if we want one if you are not going to have one for us??BRENDA L.

First thing we did after getting our unit home was mop the floor of the load area and clean the floor mat of the cab interior as both were dirty. Our pickup time slot was on a rainy Saturday morning, though.Alec P.
Where to start on this... The operation of this site is a detriment to your brand. They do not make use of the 24/7 features you claim to offer there. The staff was extremely rude and nearly impossible to deal with. While I was filling out the exact same paperwork I did online the night before, she was belligerent with clients that had reserved specific size trucks/ trailers. "no you didn't" she snapped at one of them, to which he replied "I have the print out right here." then they went around because they had already connected the wrong size which was meant for another client that she berated about not reserving the correct size. The parking lot for this location has a giant hole in it. One that was filled with water. One that there was no discernable way to navigate around as it is there swallowing up cars and trucks as they come on and off the lot. I promise you your equipment is getting damaged at that point. This is completely unacceptable. I will ensure that I'm seeking out business with one of your competitors going forward.troy B.

Everything was great! Our storage unit was in an offsite lot and the customer service rep even took the time to take us over there personally so I appreciated that added assistance.
