When the truck was rented it was extremely dirty in the cab and the back and all over the outside with dirt and mud gas cap was broken figured I would be refunded some of the money with a dirty truck rented out to meJesse E.

The process to print the contract was a little slow. The staff was readily available, but the system that connects with U-haul and prints the contract was quite slow.Kelly B.

I rented two 26' trucks with two car haulers, one for each truck. The trucks were not ready for us upon arrival, nor did they have the car haulers hooked up to them. The contract draw up and getting the trucks and car haulers took about 45 minutes. Upon leaving the U-Haul dealership we drove about 2 miles and stopped to fuel the trucks up so we could have full tanks upon loading and not having to stop first thing after being loaded. Once pulling up to the pump turned on the wipers to see if there was washer fluid in one of the trucks, and the passenger side wiper blade went flying off the arm. So I bought new blades and put on the wipers so we wouldn't have any problems down the road. That morning after pulling into the site to start loading, realized that one of the car haulers had no working lights. I was not driving 30 minutes back across town to have U-Haul try to figure out the problem and loose more time on loading the trucks. It took about 15 minutes to track down and fix the wiring for the trailer lights to work. Very unhappy with the amount of time to took to get the trucks and trailers, and then the issues we had with the equipment once leaving the lot.Raymond W.

check out took forever because , as they said, the system was down. staff was friendly and apologetic but still I had to wait a long time. the truck cabin was dirty. the truck bed area was mostly clean. the engine sounded like it was not well, like something was wrong with the transmission. we wondered if it was going to break down on us any minute. but we made it the full day.Cam E.

The 15' truck had about 15,000 miles on it and was in great condition. It was easy to drive. The on line reservation and pickup went very smoothly. My only improvement comment for U-Haul is that it would be super to have cruise control on this size truck, since it was about a 1300 mile trip.David H.

The staff at this location are extremely friendly and helpful. I thought the woman who checked me in when I dropped off the trailer was going to hassle me about the time (I had understood it to be due by 9:00 p.m., but she said it was actually supposed to be there at 9:00 a.m.; it was around 3:30 p.m. when I dropped off the trailer), but there was no additional charge. This is where I plan to go for pick-up when I'll need to rent another trailer next week.Sean P.
When I placed my reservation, it was for Cheney and they sent me almost an hour away to pick it up. They offered an extra day before but not at the end and I had no way to get it early. There was no discounts offered or even an apology. The inside was of the trailer was filthy and the rubber stripping was torn off. Worst experience with Uhaul I have ever had.Charlotte B.

I have used U-Haul several times in the past. The last before this being March 2020. This was by far experience I have had with U-Haul to date. Moving from Garden City 67846 to Colwich 67030 I was told the closest 20' truck available was in Ulysses, KS for pick-up on 7/3. Late Friday afternoon around 2:00pm I was informed by Jill at the Ulysses office that was no longer available, and would have to travel to Liberal, KS for a 26' truck. Despite not being happy with this new development we agreed to pause our moving longer to travel to Liberal for pick-up. Shortly after hanging up with Jill she called back to inform me that in the last 20 mins that was now rented also. I asked if any trucks were available in Garden City as I saw a 26' truck at the AAA Loan location. Jill said it was not available but out for rental. I was transferred to the Kansas City office where I spoke to Christina, and was told the 26' truck WAS available, but that the AAA Loan location closed at 1pm and would need to do mobile pick-up. She was to discount my account for the inconveniences and the rental of 26' truck would be at the rate of my original 20' reservation. Sunday I looked up where to drop-off my truck and it stated the AAA Loan location in Garden City and not the nearest location to Colwich, KS as desired. I had to then undergo attempting to speak to a representative via chat. Dominique helped find me a location in Maize, KS. My account was not credited the $50 reservation guarantee, and this was a nightmare in the already doomed July heat.Brandi C.

I called on a Monday to ask questions and then went in early the following morning to reserve a twenty ft truck, a furniture dolly and 18 pads. On Saturday I went in at 9:00 am to pick up the U-Haul. As I was finalizing the paper work they discovered they were out of the extra dozen pads I wanted and had requested. The first issue I had, was the attitude. There was oh no I am so sorry, just we're out. Thank heaven that I had some blankets of my own. The second issue: why didn't they make sure they had what I ordered before hand. It did throw me for a loop and additional stress that was unnecessary.SANDRA M.

The original email sent me to another pickup location and they didn't have any information on my rental. They had to call to find out that my pick up location was moved. The trailer was dirty inside and I had to borrow a broom to sweep it out. The people were very nice.Bob H.
I made arrangements for a 6 x 12 enclosed trailer two weeks in advance. When I picked up the trailer they only had a 5 x 8. What good does it due to make arrangements in advance, it appears it does no good.Joe H.
