We dropped off the truck around 9:30pm, after business hours. The It was impossible to access the parking lot to leave the truck, because there were cars blocking the entrance to the parking lot. In addition, there didn't appear to be ample space to leave a 26' truck even if we could have accessed the parking lot. We left the truck in the parking lot next door. There was also no marked key drop-off box on the outside of the building, which was a building shared with a realty office, only a mail slot on the door. As a result, we decided to hang onto the key until the morning and return it after the office opened, which is what we did. When we returned the key, I stated that there wasn't a marked drop off box, and the U-Haul rep stated that the mail slot is used for that. It would be helpful if that would have been marked as such on the door.

Do not use 660 broadway he doeble books people then if the truck is not there cancels the order after I already payed online. Then he told me that i have to pay again. He also told me i could only have the truck for 6 hours when i reserved it for 24. When I told him we had it for tm24 hours he then continues to only give me 23 hours but I paid for 24 hours. Also we were suppoelsed to bring the truck back by 2pm which we brought it back much earlier. He told us we were late! And when we were in the office another employee recieved a call asking if their truck which was booked for 1pm (the only truck they have) was there. He told the other customers that it came back late. We were not at all happy with this service and will never use uhaul again. Also the truck he owns stinks of cigarettes. And its ghe people in his office that are smothing in it because the same smell was what it smelled like in their office space. Very unhappy and something meeds to be done!

Blinker wand stopped working and going down the highway one of the tie downs on the driver side of the car carrier let loose. Had to pull over and tighten it again.

the location was inconvenient i assume because it was trailer. i had to call customer service and complain new burgh quoted the 08085 location was not available for drop off when i dropped a trailer and truck a few times in the past. the u haul website stated a discount for EMT AND AARP which was denied.

Staff did not notified me that we needed an adaptor for our truck . So we needed to buy one. Also the person that helped was drunk and smelled of liquor.

The equipment was supposed to be in a different location which turned out to be closed. Thisa locaiont charged me more that my rntal reservaqotn said ($133 vs $120)

The fuel level was entered incorrectly, i pointed this out prior to leaving the location and i was still charged for fuel when i returned it.

They never called me to advise that the truck that I reserved was not there so I had to rent the uhaul van that smelled like cigars and was dirty. I was at their mercy since I had people come from Florida and Albany ny to help clean out my relatives house since they passed Away.

Could not get into their parking lot after hours. Had to park behind a neighboring business and place the key in the drop box. Returned the truck the same day and they charged me an extra day. Not sure exactly what happened, but have a claim in. Not happy.

I was told by the customer service rep that this location had a 24 hour drop off spot, which was not true. It's a car dealership that blocks the entrance with cars so no one can get in. I was forced to sit in the front seat of the rental truck for 11 hours and wait for the location to open up.
