I was not aware of an after hours service fee. The twenty dollar fee was a complete surprise seeing how i returned the vehicle before my estimated time due to bad weather. Recommending others to watch out for the small print fees that sneak up. Service fees and climate fees to be specific. Going to do my best to use personal vehicle next time.Brian O.

I had ordered a furniture dolly and furniture pads, none of which were available when I picked up the vehicle. It had not been swept clean and the cab area could have really used a cleaning.Christopher B.

The cell phone check-in process did not work smoothly. I was not expecting to need two forms of ID, and the need for a second contact who could be reached at that moment was unrealistic. When I submitted my company name as ide tification, I was not allowed to use the one phone number that I have, because it wa already listed as my personal number. If the shop owner had not been there, I would have been unable to get the vehicle.Celia S.

Phone was broken the day I was trying to book so that was annoying, but hopefully a fluke. I went in-person to rent a van and the service was quick and excellent. The person did not ask me about CDW and so I got charged for that initially. She helped me call the 800 UHAUL number to resolve that when I noticed it in the final bill.jon S.
Unfortunately, the â€œoffice spaceâ€ is small and reeks heavily of smoking. As a lifelong non-smoker, I was more than uncomfortable in that space, so I stayed outside in fresh air. Other than that, the experience of returning the equipment was non-problematic.Jeff J.

Originally we were to pick up truck in Bridgeport that is an hour away!! Called UHAUL and they change the pick up in Bethel.So why was it an hour away, when there was a truck only 15 minute away!!! Plus we would have been charged more milage. One good point, UHAUL allowed us to pick up the truck late a day before we needed it.Sharon K.

My first experience four years ago with UHaul in Danbury was awful. I was reluctant to use UHaul again, but they had a truck, the location was convenient and the price was reasonabe, so I made a reservation. The day before the scheduled pick up, I asked to switch to that day. They agreed without a problem. Pick up was smooth and soon I was on my way. The truck was clean and the return was easy. I would definitely recommend this UHaul place over the one in Danbury to anyone who is moving or is in need of a ten foot truck.jill M.

It took us over a hour to complete the paperwork and the employees did not seem knowledgeable. Then once we got in the truck and left we had by on return since the wrong gas tank level was incorrectly documented. When we dropped it off in a different state we were told we had a truck that was suppose to stay in CT and we felt awkward but couldn't do anything about it and it was not our fault since we were clear where we were driving it to.Amber W.
