This time when I rented from u haul, almost everything I was told at the location was right, but then was contradicted by an email from uhaul. (turned out the site was right in all but 1 issue.) The attempts to send me an instant message never worked. The email link from Uhaul telling me I HAD to enter my drivers license all expired before I even read the email. (turns out the email does NOT tell me it is optional... The time at pickup is affected, but entering the drivers license is NOT required even thought the email does not specifially say optional.) After dropping off the trailer 300+ miles from my home I drove home last Monday. IMAGINE my surprise when, I received a call Tuesday at my home asking me when I was going to drop off the trailer. Turns out some entry wasn't done correctly, they sorted it out. But I am very glad i did NOT have to drive 600+ miles(another round trip) to return a previously dropped off trailer. I am not sure why the local location and the emails had such differing information.

I realize that you don't want to overload a vehicle but the renting of the motorcycle trailer was time consuming. I had a factory in stalled Class III receiver on a Ford Explorer with a V6 Engine and provided the representative the weight ratings from the receiver and they received an error code telling me it wasn't possible. We were able to eventually get it to work but it took longer than anticipated.

I made mistake with online reservation, selecting 830 pm rather than 830 am pick up time. Did not catch her name, but when I arrived at 830 am woman assisting me immediately put me at ease, letting me know she would have truck available. Excellent customer service, exact opposite of my experience at a different location in different state a few weeks earlier.

Booked a truck and had the rental location switched at last minute. We drove hourse from out of state to pick up the truck to remove belongings form a home we're selling. Had to use 24/7 Truck Share and it was incorrectly put into your system as express sign in. Result was a 2 hour delay in getting the truck - AFTER a long drive to get there. Marilyn Oliver was helpful in cleanign up the mess and we finally got the truck but it was a real inconvenient hassle and took precious time from us over a weekend, making the physical work that much harder. Horrible....

As a department we rent this truck 1 time per year every year. Last year the truck was returned with almost 1/2 tank of fuel more than required. There was no refund given for extra fuel. This time it was returned with 1/4 tank when it was suppose to have 3/8. Of course there was an upcharge for this. If Uhaul is going to charge for fuel underage then they ought to refund fuel overage.
