The equipment i wanted wasn't available even though i booked it weeks ahead. The locations got changed on me about 7 times. Poor communication. Overcharging. The booking dates kept getting changed.ELIZABETH G.

The remote check in was a nightmare. It may have been due to one person booking the rental and another person picking it up, but it was not an easy process. The 2nd U-Haul rep I spoke to thru the 1-800 number was very helpful and was able to dispatch the rental and send key and lot locations via text. She was a lifesaver. Checking in the returned vehicle wasn't any easier but I was lucky to have another great U-Haul rep acknowledge check in and leave a note in the system stating the return time. I called the location the next morning and was assured everything was good with the check in by another friendly and knowledgeable rep, at the storage location. My key take away is to avoid remote check in and schedule any future rentals during working hours. The truck itself was great.Michael M.

Mobile Pick up process too tasking. To repetitive with the pictures. The taking of one picture at any one time should be enough. Waaaayyyy too long wait time for assistance calls. Charging for milage is too high, there should be a package offered, that includes milage, especially when gas prices are so high.Timothy B.

Staff on pick up was very nice and helpful. However I'm a little disappointed that I drove only 19 miles total and got a $24 fuel charge from Uhual. A great overall experience, easy to rent, staff was helpful, truck was clean and easy return. But 19 miles, I was trying to figure out what am I suppose to put a $1 worth of gas in truck for less than 20 miles, this charge leaves a sour taste in my mouth after an good experience other wise.MICHAEL P.

They could have told the customer in advance that Uhaul does not offer blankets or rope or ratchet straps. No information or very little customer service. Just fill the tank and bring it back , that was the extent of customer service . The cab of the 15 foot truck was muddy and had old food debris inside of it. The steering wheel and the rest of the truck had not been cleaned in a while, surprising with all of this Covid stuff going on. Had to clean it myself so I would not get charged. Being a holiday, nobody was at the facility which is to be expected. Fortunately, Uhaul has a website and an app for self return. Unfortunately, neither works correctly so I had to call customer service who I talked to twice and neither knew what I should do in this instance. So, I ended up just leaving the trailer there and hoping for the best and just waiting to see if I get charged for not returning it or something. The guessing game here really sucks but it's not the fault of the location, just the company.Brianna R.
