I had to pay extra to go here because the town i rented from did not have it ready. Never got a $50 credit. Instead i was charged extra to drive it to the correct town and back.

The location had a worker that didnt know how to use the computer then the worker called uhaul and they told her to turn off the computer and then the computer would not turn back on and then she tried calling her manager and she did not respond, i actually had to call uhaul. Com after being there over and hour to switch my checking in to online. After the check in was switched to online then it went smooth.. I went out to the U-Haul to make sure it had the dolly I ordered, and it did not. The company did not even have a dolly that I ordered. It had a different one, so I had to take that one since I was already an hour and 15 minutes behind schedule.

Needed a 20 foot and a dolly but could not supply although I placed order almost 48 hours in advance! Did not know no dolly til I picked it up and we have bad backs!!! Not happy.

Had a hard time checking in due to my phone wouldn't take a photo of my driver's license to up load. The person said I had to change settings? I would think there got to be a better way. What if I didn't own a phone? In the end the lady took a photo of my license with her phone and uploaded somehow?

i would recommend when a customer wants to rent a uhaul to call directly to toledo ohio . The location I started at was a little confusing but she did explain everything in detail. The location did place the order to reserve the uhaul but I could have saved the confuson I had by just calling toledo like they told me to do ????

my reservation was for same day. none was there trained to run system. she had to call corp. to get us checked out. also they were unable to assist us outside to hookup trailer. we had to identify our trailer ourselves. they could not provide us a copy of contract. I couldntview it online due to being in a no cell service area. attendant was nice but it took longer to get going. I used to work for U-Haul work at home renting trucks. it was just not professional.

Only issue was it needed and alignment so steering wheel is straight but other then that couldn't ask for a better place to get a uhaul from all was kind and got us in and out pretty fast

Receiver was the only person running a small convenience store. She received my key and paperwork, said "Thank you" and "They will email you a receipt." There was no one there to look at the vehicle and check the gas while I waited. There were no problems, but an extra person or two to handle any possible issues and check the state of the truck right then would have been more helpful.

When I return the truck I asked for paper receipt but the lady said she will check it later n email me the receipt….. I waited till the next day and still didn’t get the receipt so I went back to the uhaul n asked for it… but they just left the truck there for another day and charged me another day for it…

Staff couldn't tell me anything about dropping the vehicle off. They didn't know where to park the truck, where the key drop was, how to do a return (so I had to do it online).

Train them on how to rent out the trucks so they don't have to make a phone call to figure it out. It took almost an hour to get the rental.

The lady at zuma thru was awesome. Need to find a way to get trucks in the city they are requested. There's a u haul place 2 mins from my house but I was told I had to drive 15 mins away to get it from another place. I dont mind the drive but have to pay for mileage and gas on top of everything else. 20 dollar truck turned into 80 dollars after all the fees, mileage and gas.

Install a slide out step for shorter people on your trucks. Would be most helpful in getting in truck

We thought it was well maintained but 1st passenger windshield wiper rubber came off the wiper. Stopped and put it back on. Rained through 3 states. wiper still had issues. car hauler trailer lights went out. Car hauler trailer axle broke. Tire blew, rubber and scratches all over the car on the hauler. Gas tank was NOT at half full when we picked it up. We were charged $14+ for 3 gallons of gas which was at half full when we turned the truck in. trip was a nightmare

Felt a bit insecure just parking the trailer and leaving despite the agent assuring me everything was taken care of. She never looked at the equipment. A regional rep happened to be on site and he said everything was fine and checked me in.

I requested an appliance dolly which was not in the truck. In the truck was a utility dolly and furniture pads. I did not ask for either.

Took over an hour to rent because the lady wasn’t sure how to complete some of the steps. Then was rented a box truck when I ordered a ramp utility trailer. But the lady was nice and made it all good before I left. Upon return, a different lady had no clue what to do. Stopped helping me to help others and I told me I needed to wait. I had to help her use the uhaul POS to return my equipment. I was given the mouse to do it myself. They told me that I had to scan the QR on MY phone and follow the prompts. I could have changed the rental to free at that point because the employee had me do It in the uhaul system on my phone. But I was honest and did not do that. Then I noticed that I also had access to other renters information such as their name, address, cc number, phone number and when they were due to return. That is absurd that I the customer was able to access that information on my device because of inexperienced and knowledgeable staff. I am now concerned for my personal information and that it could be accessed by a less honest customer. I do wish to have a response on this topic or I will need to address this security risk with someone who can make a difference.

Train your people better. They were very nice and helpful in calling supervisors, but not familiar with Uhaul rentals. Only 1 person seemed to know anything about how to process rentals. I was very disappointed in Uhaul with this rental. Worst experience ever renting from uhaul. The "central management" apparently didn't notify them of the rental. They couldn't confirm I would have a trailer, nor could they help on the phone prior to hanging up on me. I will likely purchase my own trailer before renting from Uhaul in the future.

I had a 7am appointment for a motorcycle trailer. The employee could not log in. She was nice, but untrained. Nothing was ready. No paperwork or anything. After several phone calls they charged my card, still no paperwork. Employee was very helpful helping me hitch up, but the bottom line is: with no other uhaul customers in line, I didn't get on the road until about 7:50 am putting me about 1/2 hour behind for my arranged meet time to buy the motorcycle. Then that evening when I returned the trailer, different employee, untrained. Had to make phone calls again while I waited. Finally said I was good to go. Nice people, but a bad experience. I could have lost the opportunity to purchase the bike because I was late. Luckily the seller was patient.

Their computer was not functioning and had I not completed the reservation an check-in online my experience might have been very different. I was also concerned the online check-in appeared to be through an unsecured site and my driver license photo and credit card info could have been at risk of being compromised.

The reservation was all messed up was supposed to pickup in St. marys and was dropped off in montezuma oh and didn't notify me of the change so spent 45 minutes at the place that was supposed to be at trying to find my trailer. May never use uhaul again
