The gas was empty upon pick up and it smelled like cigarettes… this whole experience was terrible — I was charged for safemove insurance when I did not authorize that

Nikolette BaxterThe truck smelled of urine and when I went to inspect the back, there were numerous pieces of cardboard, a throw blanket as if someone had been sleeping in it, trash, bugs, and cigarette butts inside. I went back to ask if I could use one of the other two clean trucks (I checked), I was told one does not work and the other is reserved in about an hour for someone. However when I returned in less than 2 hours, the cleaner truck was still present. I don't appreciate being lied to and forced to use a dirty truck. Also, I was charged insurance when I always decline. The owner also asked for a 5-star review for his personal store and preceded to report another reviewer's comment with my phone without my knowledge.

Lakshman GundapaneniPick up was the worst possible experience imaginable. The place was so sketchy, the guy that gave me the key was so unhelpful and was using racial slurs. Where the trucks were there were people partying there and screaming at me for getting the truck. Also he never gave me the tow light cable so I had to buy one. I don’t know how they are allowed to work with uhaul. Unbelievable.

Ricky LawsI was completely lied to. I came to the location in need of a rental truck for less than 2 hours. I was told the rental was $19.99 per day plus taxes. I had my own Allstate insurance in hand which I was told was not needed. I used the truck for less than 2 hours and less than 20 miles. I was not given it shown a contract as the attendant told me everything was done electronically so he never offered anything for me to see or sign. I received an email with 2 receipts totaling almost $100. For less than 2 hours. I will be contacting the state of Illinois consumer affairs office regarding your business practices as well as disputing these charges
tony jarrettZuri furniture was just ok. I was grateful to them since the Chicago Ave location wasted two hours of my time by not having the keys in the lock box. Very very very frustrating. What should have taken 15 mimutes. Took two hours.
