Moving Tips:

Moving to the city could be a little challenging sometimes, but we will be there to cater to your transportation needs. Stop by any of our locations and we will be more than happy to help you through your moving process.

When to Move – July tends to be the hottest month of the year, and January, the coldest. If at all possible, try to avoid moving into the city during these two months. That way, you will experience a much more comfortable move.

Festivals – The Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest is celebrated for nine days in the month of October. Make sure you try to avoid moving into the city within this month, as the area could get pretty crowded from the thousands of people coming into the city. Always reference the city's calendar to see when other major festivals will occur, to ensure a smooth transition.

Need Help Moving? – Moving can sometimes be a burden, and family and friends may not always be available to lend a helping hand. We offer Moving Helpers to do all the heavy lifting for you, while you take the time to finish other last-minute duties or simply relax.

Things to Do – There are infinite things to do in the city of Kitchener. Culture-based activities include visiting several art galleries, historic sights, or simply strolling around cafes and enjoying live music! The city also holds many exciting festivals, such as the Kitchener Blues Festival, Kitchener-Waterloo Multicultural Festival, and the Kitchener-Waterloo Film and Music Festival.
