When my grandson (who is 22) and I arrived at the location to pick up the truck the app would not work on my phone or my grandson's phone. Luckily the office was open and someone was there. He did help us get in contact with someone who authorized the local person to give us the keys. They did not have half of the equipment we had requested.

No one at this location had a clue about renting equipment. Upon arrival I had to speak with someone via the attendants personal cell phone to rent the equipment. I also had to give them the number off the trailer I had reserved because they didn’t know they had one available. Upon returning the equipment on the same day, a different attendant had no clue. She asked for the key to the trailer multiple times not realizing I was returning a trailer, not a truck. Again, I had to talk to an individual via the persons personal cell phone to check the trailer in. However, days after my return I received a notification that my rental was past due. I then called a nationwide U-Haul number and gave them my information so that they could check in the equipment. Attendants at this location speak very little english and really have no clue when it comes to rentals.
Wes CarterFirst of all, I went into the store to rent. The clerk did not speak English and had to call a guy and hand me the phone. The man did not introduce himself but took my order over the phone. I spoke to him and told him that I did not want to verbally speak out my credit card info over the phone due to security reasons. He proceeded to ask for my number verbally. I had to repeat it several times which further bothered me. He told me that the truck had a half tank of gas at which it did not. It was between the two lines and just under a half. I did however fill it up to the half way mark to avoid issues. The truck also wreaked of cigarette odor. Today, I have still not been credited on my card the difference in the actual cost. My mileage was roughly 60 miles and only one day of rental. Also, I did not sign a contract nor was I asked to purchase rental insurance. I was charged for this insurance without being told nor agreeing to it. I will not rent from this location again. If any of these issues are not resolved, I will never rent Uhaul again.
BRADLEY WILLIAMSDidn’t speak English, was unfamiliar with return protocol.
Jeffrey MerrellWasn’t able to even speak to anyone in store. The gentleman working at the gas station/ store handed me a greasy phone to talk to someone else and do my rental. He had me reading my card number out loud multiple times In store with customers which made me incredibly uncomfortable. It took almost an hour to get the truck keys from beginning to finish. They didn’t have the appliance dolly I had originally asked for. The person I spoke with was not really personable at all and seemed like he was distracted by something else on the call. Only reason I went to this location is because they didn’t have the size truck I needed at other location. The whole interaction seemed incredibly sketchy.
