I had 2 different locations (Truck in one and Car trailer at another) and they were quite different. The 12th and L in Tacoma was superior because of the employee(s).

The man who checked us in to receive our equipment was rude. Didnt explain to us that the item we rented wasnt available and that we were being put in something else. I had to ask what was going on and tell him that the item he gave us wasnt gonna work for us. He didnt seem to care and was very short and rude. We left and returned our equipement like normal. Never again. Not sure how we made a reservation and didnt recieve what we reserved.

The employee checking me in was not personable or very communicative. There was no one to meet me at the check in area as I usually find. I had a 5 plus minute wait to see someone. When I said I had an auto transport to check in, he said nothing. It was up to me to figure out I needed to follow him back outside. I was very disappointed with this experience.

Very rude..when I picked up the truck he just gave me the keys..nobody there to verify the gas or dents...didn't tell me anything about a full day rate very pissed and unsatisfied so I had to pay more than I thought when I only used it for a couple hours...

I am so disappointed in Uhaul. Over the last two weeks we have spent nearly $1000 with Uhaul, and what do I have to show for it broken tail lights. U guys installed trailer hitch and now my lights are not working. I rented trailer from Uhaul and the gentleman attaching the trailer to the van made my installer help him. And when I originally went to have the trailer hitch installed Wesley said he could not do it. I am a small business and if I treated my customers the way your corporation treats your customers I would be out of business.

I didn't receive a phone call from this location notifying me that my request to pick up the truck in Puyallup was moved to Tacoma, but the manager was great and responsive to my complaint. He took care of us and I am a satisfied customer.

Improve on customer service and repair rental trucks. The rep in the morning was very rude when we first showed up to pick up the truck because we parked in the wrong spot. Also, he didn't offer further assistance or offered any products to purchase/rent. Then, the truck we were given for rental, had it's bummer was broken, the truck had almost no gas and the truck wasn't cleaned.

Initially my experience was awesome when I rented the truck. But when I went to drop the truck off at the same location I had rented it from, I was informed that I could not drop the truck off there. Which was upsetting to me. Because I made sure before I had left with the truck, that I could return it to the same location. The man at the front counter could not give me a reason as to why I couldn't drop it off there. Just simply that I had to drive it 10 miles to another location. So after another 20 minutes of trying to get a straight answer, I finally gave up and drove it to the other location. When I arrived I explained to the lady my situation with the truck. She was just as confused as I was. So we went inside to the manager and her and I explained to him the same thing. He told me it made absolutely no sense, considering there was no drop off location listed on my contract. He apologized for the other store and helped me so I could be on my way quickly. I told him he didn't have to apologize and that I was just Thankful he understood my situation.

First off, the person at the counter, acted very rude. All business no human connection, no customer interaction. First impressions are the lasting ones. The other guy helping with the vehicle Acted more like the supervisor. Kind and friendly.I told him his boss needs to have some customer relation training. I rent from you guys all the time, but if this is the way you do business, then there's always alternatives. Beatitudes try it, it works...

Poor customer service, the clerk could not find the keys to the truck and I sat in the store and extra 40 minutes , he still told me that I had to return the truck by 2 o'clock that there was another rental behind me even though it was his fault that I could not leave on time, also the truck was full of animal hair..

Staff were really rude didn't go thru the truck with me and I had to return the truck for another truck because the alignment was dangerously off. He scheduled me to dropp off in kent even tho i had told him 2x that I was traveling to federal way so I had to call and change the dropp off point . I am a loyal customer but I will not use this location ever agian.

I picked my trailer up first thing in the morning about 8:30 AM, there was one person at the counter managing customers. I waited almost 20 minutes to be attended to. The trailer was dirty but for my purposes it was sufficient. Staff was helpful and professional.

This is for services back in May 2013. I just came across my packet and remembered how great these guys were. They were fast and friendly. I forgot that I used the hand truck, and drove back to pay for it. The guy was impressed with my honesty and let me off the hook. Great service!

I rented a flat bed truck to move a very heavy sectional couch and the tailgate didn't even work. It wouldn't go down even though it was unlocked. I told the associate the problem and he just said "okay we'll make a note of it". He didn't even try to compensate me for the hassle and the fact that I was given a defective rental. I had to ask if I could have a credit for the trouble I had to go through which made me feel very uncomfortable. I ended up getting a whole $14.

Wasn't the best interaction, had to go back and get a credit because the employee checking the vehicle in did not read the fuel gauge correctly, was charged an additional 64.00 for fuel and service fee.Book on line with a posting of 84 cents a mile the oringinal pick up point did not have the correct size truck , called and u haul booking found at this location, seems I signed up for 1.09 a mile , not what was noted on line ,but a lesson learned

Fire everyone at the 96th and south Tacoma way location. They are rude, unprofessional, inefficient and speak to customers very condescending. I will never use that location again and will tell others to stay away from there also.

Very Very poor experience at the Pacific Ave location. When the I originally rented the truck, they asked where I wanted to return it, I told them the same location. When I attempted to return the truck they told me that I had to return the truck to a different location. This made very little sense to me since I was already back at the same store on the due. He then said that I could drop it off but would have to pay a different rate, when I asked what the rate was he told me I was being difficult. So despite being at the same location I rented it from on the due date, there was nothing he could to return the truck.

When I physically arrived to the location at 1745 for a due rtn time of 1800, there was zero U-Haul personnel to inprocess returned trailer as the sign indicated. In addition, there was a back-up of customers inside the building and only two U-Haul personnel working. Due to the lack of efficiency and attempting to resolve a promised $31 credit, the U-Haul local personnel member did not formally in-process the rtn trailer until 1831. Now, I am currently being charged an additional $20.00 for an extra day rental. This is unacceptable period! I look forward to an expeditious response. Whatever happened to customer service? When I called they said the only available unit was ground floor. Upon arrival, the unit was actually up a flight of stairs and no elevator. The man behind the desk was surly.

Facility mgr is a detriment to UHaul. Rude to customers, unwilling to help or assist. Facility also has stairs making moving in and out of unit difficult. Would NEVER recommend.

U-Haul office at Bridgeport Lakewood WA needs more training on the U-Box program and how to be ready for these customers. They sent us to Parkland for ours because they messed up our reservation.

Units are falling apart.Cannot reach anyone at the parkland location or the Tustin location. Call center cannot do anything. 72 hrs wait time. There is NO ONE you can call...very frustrating.

My only critique from my experience is that renters who move out their belongings before the end of the month should get pro-rated for that time. Great experience and memorable customer service.
