Reservation was for 8 AM but the store that you sent me to get the rental doesn't open until 9 AM. The store owner wAs nice enough to open early so I could get the trailer to its destination on time.Michael M.

This was awful experience. Took over an hour to get keys to truck. Finally get into truck and it's dirty and the tire was flat. Was told to drive it anyway and call uhual customer service so I did. I sat on hold for over 4 hours until I finally spoke with someone. They started working on my â€œcaseâ€ but I still haven't heard from them.Christian N.

Wheel was flat on auto transport. Was told we had to go pump it up at a gas station near by. Had to drive with trailer on a flat. They didn't complete the inspection before we left. Just paid and they told us to go out and hook it up. Should be reimbursed after having to do all of that just because they don't keep up with their haul equipmentDustin B.

The local guys were easy to work with very helpful. As for Uhaul as a company it is worst company I have ever dealt with. When I tried to make arrangements online it would only let me reserve the truck for 24 hours time frame. I called Uhaul and this is what they told me. If I wanted the truck for more than 24 hrs I would need to bring it back in to the pickup location and they would rent it to me again for 24 hrs. Then they changed my pickup location after they sent me the confirmation email which was even further away. So I needed it for 2 days and the pickup location was 12 miles from my moving location sounds to me like and extra $ 24.00 plus the time I would be losing during this stupid policy. I called another rep they told me the same thing. Is that not the most stupid I mean stupid you ever heard of? If you don't need to plan anything and you don't mind paying 99 cents per mile then Uhaul may work for you. For me next time 2 Men & a Truck 3 Men & a Mule Wagon or 4 Men & a Goat Wagon Anything but Uhaul ! Read all reviews before your move.Tim B.

The people at the site were friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, they did not have the moving blankets I had ordered. The amount was removed from my bill, but they were important to the move and I had to spend time and money to get replacements.Robert M.
I requested moving blankets and an appliance dolly. These were forgotten. Also when I called this uhaul retailer they accused me of not filling out the digital paperwork properly and threatened me with calling my rental to the authorities as stolen. I called uhaul and that individual called back and blamed a glitch in the system and also said he forgot the other items. I then had to return to pick up and pay an additional fee for the equipment. The truck was disgusting, covered in bugs and dents as well as being well under the half tank on the original paperwork. Very disappointed.Scott W.
The location manager was horrible. His anti-government views were on display and had nothing to do w me renting a uHaul. It took him almost 25 minutes to check me out, a painful 25 minutes for me.William B.

This was not the pick-up location on my reservation... It was Tool Rental in Camden, SC. They were not helpful at all when we arrived there. No U-Haul Rep. Called, Texted, it Emailed to let me know pick-up location had changed. We had to make several calls to locate truck.Terry W.
Ordered a moving dolly and they said they didn't have any at that location. They took it off my bill and the other gentleman said he thought there may be one in another truck. He came back and said there was and that the truck had moving pads in it too, which they didn't charge me for either. Super nice of them. With that being said, my movers did use the moving blanket things and that evening I noticed a cockroach. Then more and more and more. They were everywhere in the front living room where all my stuff was located. I have never had roaches in my life as am relatively new to the south. I contacted my new neighbor as she is a good friend and colleague of mine and asked her if she has a problem with them. She did not and said they spray monthly. I contacted maintenance and they also said they spray monthly, leading me to believe either the truck or blankets had roaches. Now I am dealing with the extermination of that. In addition, I was charged a fuel charge despite returning the truck with the exact same amount of gas. I did take a before picture as I left the lot (time stamped and matching my mileage from paperwork) and an after picture, again time stamped, showing the mileage needle at the same place from start to finish. I have contacted them and am currently waiting on a response.Nicole L.
I felt like I was over charged the lady could not explain how it was $29 a day, and I was only going 30 miles but my fee came to $108. She told me it was 99 cent a mile but the email says 40 cents a mile. I thought it was supposed to be a deposit and you get money refunded back but I was told that it was a flat rate fee.
