We received great service so I cannot think of anything to improve at this time. Will most likely be back for future rentals.

The location rep did not tell me that pickup would be automated. The 30 minutes I spent getting that done and waiting on your online rep came out of my planned use, which I was then double-charged for after explicitly being told that the rate of $19.95 was good for the DAY whether I finished in 6 hours or 11. INSURANCE was then also doubled. I will NEVER use U-Haul again. This was unprofessional from beginning to end. I should have used the Budget Truck rental slightly farther away and paid the extra mileage.

Was called the day before to confirm my order. The office was nice and clean. The young woman the was working the desk was very friendly and answered all my questions. Drop off was very fast and easy.

I had no issues at this location service was excellent. the truck was ready for pickup and clean. the only issue I have is picking up a truck where the fuel level is somewhere other than full. to me, it is a pain to have to deal with this. why can't the trucks just be filled to full? this is not a criticism of Carmel stone and truck rental, but of u-haul in general. thanks.

The location/pick up was not an issue. Lovely people. The reporting of the mileage and gas is a major issue. Please read email below that I have submitted. Hello, Reviewing our equipment contract, we have two items to dispute. Summary- We are owed for 10 miles for Mileage use. We are owed $30 for Fuel Fill-Up Service Fee We are owed $40.38 for EZ Fuel Sales First, Mileage. When we gave a verbal estimate at the Carmel rental, I estimated 160 miles (which the manager noted that I was definitely overestimating). Google maps indicates that the mileage to and from our address, plus the mileage to and from our home to the rental place is 147. Perhaps add another couple of miles for going around the block. There is no way that it's just a coincidence that the EXACT 160 estimate is the EXACT mileage that was driven. I think they just added our estimate to the "mileage out" and billed from there. I can send you the documentation from Google Maps, or you can check for yourself. Our address is 55 Guinea Road, Brewster, NY. We picked up the Uhaul at 84 Commerce Drive, drove to 55 Guinea Road, then to 100 Withnrop Street, Brooklyn, back to 55 Guinea Road, stopped for gas in the village of Brewster and drove back to 84 Commerce Street. Of course, since it was late and dark, I forgot to check the mileage. Second- Regarding fuel. We have been billed for both Fuel Fill-Up Service Fee of $30 and EZ Fuel Sales for $40.38. I was told by your manager that the Fee is for having the tank under 1/8. It was not under 1/8 tank according to the round gas gauge. In doing the math, looking at the amount of gas we added (we can share the receipt with you if needed) adding 5 gallons in a 33 gallon tank and ending up under 1/8 tank (as the "fee" is charged) would have to indicate that we had run out of gas. 5 gallons in a 33 gallon tank AT MINIMAL puts the level at 1/8. As I see the reciept with the bar graph for "Fuel tank capacity" at 33 gallons, we added 5 gallons. That put the tank to between 7 and 8/16, and that is what the round guage registered. Also, keep in mind that we went by the reading on the round "regular" gas guage. The bar guage was very difficult to read, so I don't know if there was a discrepancy to claim. If the bar guage did not register the same, it is a discrepancy that needs to be looked at by your mechanic. In closing, I would like to know how much gas was put in the truck that is rated at $40.38. Your claim is that the truck was returned at 1/8 (which = 2/16) and we got the truck at 7/16. This means that for 5/16 of a gallon of gas, 1/4 of a gallon (plus 4 ounces) we are being charged $40.38? Gas is $1.80 per gallon. If you are charging us $40 for 1/4 of a gallon, it means your rate is $160+ per gallon? Where in the UHAUL contract is this stated! This is the second time I have used UHAUL in 2 years, and will need services like this over the next couple years. As was the case the last time, the service was great for pick up a

Reserved a 17 foot truck a week in advance and when I arrived to pick up my rental they did not have the truck I reserved. They only had a 10 foot truck and the only location that had an available truck was 20 miles away and was significantly smaller than what I reserved. When I asked why this happened the woman stated that the computer sometimes allows you to book trucks not available at the location and that I should have called in advance to confirm the truck was there. THATS NOT MY JOB TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE TRUCK I RESERVED. THATS YOUR JOB!! So unhappy with the whole experience I will never use this or any uhaul location again.

The only reason I rate this place below average is because the signage is poor to non existent. Especially considerating the industrial location. I also had to walk around the facility to try and find the office. There are no signs indicating where to find the rental office. The hallway was also poorly lighted and I were a women I would definitely be concerned for my safety because the offices were vacant and I had to call out into an open hallway area to get a response

We picked up the truck and the dashboard mentioned "Service Tire monitor system" we asked the guy to fix it or give us another truck he said thats nothing its just a software problem. On our first stop, I saw that the tire was almost flat!!! the worst thing when moving is to worry about your vehicle! We were also stopped by different vehicles on the road to tell us our tire was flat!! thats not cool, the least to expect when we pay that much to rent a truck is to get it clean and well maintained. They guy also did not use the "pre inspection form" to check on the scratches, I reminded him of it and he said we don't use it, which was so weird! its not the first time I rent from Uhaul but its the first branch that doesn't use this form so we started taking pictures of the scratches... bad location.. bad service.. bad truck!
