The truck we rented was wobbly in handling. It would get wobbly at 35mph. Other than that the customer service was great and the truck did the trick for the amount of large furniture we needed to move.

Had to do a move and use a storage during the hurricane. The team did a great job helping out and being professional. Nice work.

The staff were prompt, friendly and courteous. The truck was ready and clean when I scheduled pickup and ran smoothly. Return was so quick! The attendant did a check and provided a receipt on the spot. Moving isn’t easy, but at least this part of it was. I will recommend to all my friends here in Charlotte. Thanks Sharon Rd W U-Haul!

Try not to be to stingy on the gas outake I only used it for about 3-4 miles and I was suggested to place it back otherwise I'd get charged a horrendously stupid amount

Tons of space at this location, so I’d advertise this in case people are dropping after hours. Since DC is dense area, may not be obvious there is easy access here. Make it known! Personnel were super friendly and helpful at drop off.

Not a thing! Gentlemen (I forgot his name) was very friendly. We went over everything & got me on my way in no time at all. Was a very pleasant experience renting from U-Haul. Served my needs & will look to rent from again for future needs. Thank you!

My initial reservation was made in June (for August) and two days before I was to pick up in Indian Trial I was called to say the closest pick up location was 20 miles away. For my inconvenience, I was give a "discount" that barely covered the mileage that I used driving it 20+ miles from the pick up location. No gas allowance, no extra time. You need to take care of your customers better than that.

I don't have any improvement suggestions but I would like to say how impressed I am with the option to use Moving Help when renting from UHaul. I have used 3 different companies for 3 different moving situations and I was impressed by each experience. Thank you!

Initially, Uhaul texted me an address to drop off my trailer that was incorrect. It was a dry cleaner location that said they did not accept Uhaul drop offs and had nothing to do with it. A little frustrating.

Your 1-800 number person did not set up the pickup at the requested location. Which is what your ad says, that you can pick the place you need to pick up, and the place that you drop off. She didn’t have any idea of locations closest to my storage unit, even though I told her the location over and over. I had to drive out of my way. I had asked pickup to be in Ballantyne, They set me up at Tyron Rd., When I told them that was too far they sent me to Sharon Rd location, Two trailers were hitched up, and they said it was my lights that weren’t working. So I ended up going to Tyron Rd anyways. It has full service. Sharon Rd did try to help, and we’re friendly, but where not able to fix lights. They set up the return location, even though they said I could drop it off at any place I choose. They picked a place well out of of my way. Which I chose to go closer. I ended up going Tyron Rd. location to fix the problem with the lights. I will tell you that even though this wasted my whole morning. The Tyron location, far surpassed any service bumbled by your 1-800. The manager at Tyron Rd., and his team helped to get me on my way as fast as they could. I do appreciate this exceptional service that was shown. The location I dropped the off was very friendly, and I would do business with them again too. Although, the drop off time was far earlier, than it shows on your receipt. I think your company should do what you say your ads say. Pick up where you want, and drop off where you want. Why say it in your ad, otherwise.

Bill was extremely helpful throughout the rental process. There were a lot of appointments and everyone was greeted promptly. The rest of the staff helped me hook up the trailer and get me on my way. The only suggestion I have is to notify customers where to park when arriving for a pickup appointment. Parking is limited and there are signs for drop off but not for when you're arriving.

Best UHaul experience ever! I will most definitely be using them from now on, possibly within the next day or 2 even! Many thanks for helping make my very difficult move more affordable & flexible!

This does not have to do with the location above (Sharon Road). My initial location is was on Tryon and was very poor. I never received a confirmation about my reservation in the days leading up to the pickup date. My location was changed to the Tryon location even though I initially picked a location on Gold Hill Road. When I got to the Tryon location they had changed my reservation from a 10’ to a 15’ truck which I was not pleased about. Finally, and most importantly, my truck was blocked in and I had to call the help line. All of this set my moving day back over an hour and I had to drive further to get the truck. Very frustrating considering I was on a schedule.

valuable time and energy and gasoline wasted, as too, extreme anxiety suffered during the locating of legitimate, legal dump sites for items not wanted as well as trash, when emptying my mother's storage bin. Not one trash can or dumpster bin on U-Haul property for a tenant of approximately 5 years. As a Charlotte business, U-Haul has access to far more cost effective dump sites than the out of town resident.

Wash the trailers once in awhile. It was very annoying to get a white residue all over my hands and clothes from the white panels not being cleaned ever. Maybe even some general maintenance like lubing the wheels on the door so you don't need to be the hulk to open and close it.
