Outside of the truck was very dirty. Although that didn't bother me, It could some people. Inside was clean enough. Guy checking me in was on a personal phone call in the back when I came in and my husband a little bit later. I waited a solid 20 minutes until his wife came in and got him off the phone to greet us. Most importantly, when filling up the tank at the end of the trip we had been told we needed to return the truck with 1/2 tank of gas. No problem. Go to gas up and what started as slightly below 1/2 tank was still at slightly below 1/2 tank $50 later. Figured I needed to start the truck and stopped fueling. Started truck, nope, still just under 1/2 tank. So I started putting in more gas keeping the engine on. All of a sudden it jumped from just under 1/2 tank to just under 3/4 tank, no gradual increase, no in the middle. We vastly overpaid for gas in a truck that was clearly rigged to overfill/incur additional "non filling" charges. Decent enough experience ruined at the end because the final impression was that we were scammed. Not a fan at all. Don't know if it was a location issue or a UHaul issue but it really is unacceptable business practices.JENNIFER U.
Honestly, I'm never using you again. I'll go ahead and rent a truck elsewhere. Idk how you think all these conditions are acceptable and how you could conduct your business this way.Teal C.

The pick up and drop off situation was extremely confusing. When I booked the uhaul I set up an account because I was supposed to be able to see my reservations in there but they never came up in the website even when logged it. Then when I went to drop off the uhaul I was supposed to follow the instructions on the key drop off box but again I was supposed to long in my account and confirm my drop off but like I said I couldn't even see my reservation in there. So I just left the key and asked for uhaul to contact me. They called me at 6:15 amâ€¦seriously. I just moved the day prior do you think I'm going to be up at 6:15. If I choose to rent a uhaul againâ€¦I will for one not be picking up at Valero and if I don't not see my reservation in my account the next time I will not be picking up the truck or even attempting to. I will go elsewhere.Abbie M.
