We returned the unit to the site in Elora and the mobile drop off failed to work. I sent photos of the trailer parked at the Elora Uhaul to the Manager in Erin ( which is where the original contract was from). Despite this action we were charged for the after hours drop off. We were delayed due to Uhaul. We weren't able to use the mobile drop off due to Uhaul yet we are charged for a â€œconvenience feeâ€ despite stating in the contract that we could drop off after hours. Your service for this rental was poor. No apologies were made to us for the inconvenience of the flat tire yet you charge me $31.64 despite me trying to follow your rules that failed. Uhaul online booking and the website in general are terrible. If it wasn't for the agents help I would have given up and booked a trailer with another company. The Elora location I've been using is not the closest location to my home but they have provided amazing service. Trying to deal with other locations was frustrating and I was disappointed with the level of customer service offered and the knowledge of other agents was lacking (Palmerston and Listowel locations were unable to answer basic towing questions and palmerston told me I needed a new ball and hitch purchased from them to rent a 4x8 trailer) Better training should be provided or the agents that don't know the basics should not be able to continue renting equipment. I'm not sure I'll use U-Haul ever again but if I do it will be Elora that I deal withCHRISTOPHERL J.

The service and vehicle was what I expected from U-haul. It was below average at best. It is not the fault of the franchise but I feel the lack of support and guidance U-haul provides to their franchisees. WE dropped the U-haul truck off at 7455 Speers Rd in Elora( as per instructions when we called )on March 7/20 at approximately 3:56 pm. We had picked it up in Barrie the morning of March 7/20.When we received our email copy to confirm that the truck had been dropped off in Elora, we noticed that we had been charged $40.00 for an extra day's rental.So we called 888 227 2282 to question why we were charged an extra day's rental.. Once again the person we dealt with was courteous and said the extra charge would be refunded within 3-5 days. Ant it was. We were pleased with the vehicle but surprised at the errors and confusion with respect to the reservation and drop off.harold A.
Truck was not ready for pick up. No one was at location to rent it out. Had to call customer service to track down Uhaul representative. This person was also unable to log in to the Uhaul computer systems as â€œthe website was downâ€ to finish our rental. This person took down all my info on paper but did not get it logged into the Uhaul system before I returned the vehicle. We were transferred to this location from the Fergus location - where we had first reserved our truck 1.5 months prior. We also had no indication that we were going to be unable to pick up our equipment at the location we reserved at. We were told at reservation we would receive a communication the week prior regarding the availability and location of our equipment.Alexander M.

The call centre person who made my reservation told me that this location was open at 7am, so I made my reservation for 8am. I arrived at 810am and noticed on the door the hours were open at 9am. I noticed that I got an email with a change in the reservation to 930am once I got there, so maybe that's how they were telling me that my original booking was not possible? I would've organized my time better if I had known the correct hours of the location.Mia T.

Made reservation and waited 45 min to get to counter. Staff tell me they made mistake I have to pickup in different city 25 min drive away. I am offered $50 for the inconvenience. No option to drop off iat location near my home. I have to drop same wrong location 25 min away.
