I could probably go in forever in how bad this location was to deal with. For time sake though....We originally booked the Uhaul at a different location. We got a call the day before that we would have to pick it up from the Mansfield Highway location instead. It was a little farther, but the main issue we had with the change of location, is that it opened later causing us an hour delay. When we got to the Mansfield Hwy location at 9am (when they were supposed to be open). They were not. 5-10 minutes after 9am, a girl finally opened up the door. She was on the phone with a guy name Sam. We assume that Sam is who was supposed to be working, because she didn’t have any idea on what to do. The girl “working” did not know how to turn on the computer, open a contract, put in the rental information, assign a truck to the rental, swipe the card, print a contract, or where we were supposed to sign. She was wining on the phone to Sam because she had to go outside to figure out which truck she was supposed to give us. When we asked to talked to Sam on the phone and told him how she didn’t know how to do anything so why was she at the Uhaul by herself “working” she asked my wife if she wanted to ‘go outside’. At that point we signed the bottom of the contract, took the keys and walked out. Just to add to why you should never rent from this location....the building is disgusting, and reeks of smoke.
